(Thank you E J Gray for the amazing writeup!)

Everyone in the Mixed Martial Arts world wants to be able to say that they were there for the beginning. Everyone knows that Vóssler is going to make a splash.

Welcome to VR - Genesis.

The birth of a new organisation can bring new life to careers that have faltered. This is true for the very first match in Vóssler where either Owen Xenon (5-11-0) or Sarz “The Flush” Bugs (1-3-0) is going to snap a nasty losing streak. Guessing who will come out victorious is tough. Both men ar

Bowser Stormcrow EVO Interview

Fighter profile of Bowser Stormcrow by

Bowser Stormcrow – Q + A

Bowser Stormcrow has made a name for himself as the best 170lbs fighter around, being in EVO for 10 fights now he has faced a non-stop rush of elite tier fighters. Now one more stands in his way, Johnny Fantastic a fighter known for his power. Stormcrow’s critics have said his inability to finish his opponents makes him not connect with the fans as well as others, but Stormcrow does what he does and until someone can find the way to stop him he will continue raking in the money. Stormcrow will be looking to defend his title and make a push to get #1 p4p and cement his place amongst the all-time greats. I managed to sneak in a few words with him earlier today.

Reporter - You have been the top welterweight around for some time now. Some fighters once they reach the top, don’t last long in holding that spot. What has been motivating you to sustain the success you have been experiencing?

Focus and strategy. K

Johnny Fantastic EVO Interview

Fighter profile of Johnny Fantastic by

"The Raging Cockstorm" Johnny Fantastic – Q + A

Johnny Fantastic is 9-1 over his last 10 with 6 of those wins from KO. The man packs a punch and that has led him to EVO, where the mightiest fighters ply their trade. Fighting for the NGF made him one of the best welterweights around, with the fall of NGF he found a home in EVO. After winning his EVO debut via KO he finds himself matched up against the champion and #1 in the weight class, Bowser Stormcrow. Not many men can boast of beating Stormcrow and not many can boast of beating Fantastic. #1 and #2 in the weight class face of in EVO, it’s sure to live up to its potential. I had the chance to speak to the charismatic Johnny Fantastic to ask him a few questions about the fight.

Reporter - First of all, before I ask any questions about the fight. I feel I must ask about your unusual nickname. How did you become known as “The Raging Cockstorm”?

Alright, hi there. The nickname, um,

Divock Origi: On The Attack

Fighter profile of Divock Origi by David Morrison

The United States Fighting Championship reports that it has signed light heavyweight sensation Divock "Belgian Beast" Origi to a three fight deal that stretches into April of 2015! Origi is most widely known for his accomplishments as a footballer having played for Lille since 2010 and representing the Belgium national squad at under-15, under-16, under-17, under-19, and under-21 levels. On 29 July 2014, Premier League club Liverpool announced that they had completed a 10 million transfer for Origi, who signed a five-year contract but was immediately loaned back to Lille for the 2014-15 season. Just before agreeing to the blockbuster deal with Liverpool, Origi began training mixed-martial arts at The Sweat Lodge in New York and has created a media frenzy after compiling an 8-0 start, five by way of knockout. Handing a total of five opponents their only career losses, Origi has shown strong wrestling while using his surprising upper body strength to break his opponents down in the clinch. After winning four straight in the respected and competitive NYFN organisation, Origi and his manager, Bjorn O'Donnel, decided to explore their options in other organisations as a championship run looked inevitable. Within minutes of release from NYFN, Origi received multiple offers comparable to Liverpool's bid to secure his services. In a move that came as a surprise to all, Origi signed with the USFC, New York's newest and fastest growing organisation, turning down a considerable amount of money by larger fight orgs in order to receive an early 2015 title shot against the winner of Javier Martinez v Little Guy, who will fight for the belt at USFC 5 on Christmas. The signing has made USFC's 205lb division one of the most competitive among Tycoon's new orgs, with a series of potential mega-fights among the division's elite. With the news just breaking, a whirlwind of questions has surfaced as Origi awaits the biggest fight of his life. USFC president David Morrison had an opportunity to sit down with the Belgian Beast a midst the media buzz and get a rare interview with the dual-sport superstar:

Morrison: "Divock, first of all, welcome to the USFC! It has been quite a day and it still hasn't fully sunk in that you have signed! Reports are that you turned down some handsome offers to come here, and I guess it's time to break the news to the other orgs that you refused to accept a signing bonus from us, stating that you have money, it's championships that you now pursue. Looking ahead to challenging for the title in January, do you have a preference of who you would like to face as Martinez and Guy square off for USFC's first light heavyweight title?"

Origi: "First of all, I'm happy to get to fight in your org man. Since I already get a lot of money from my Liverpool deal, I have no problem at helping a new org growing by accepting less money. I just look forward to all challenges and I'm looking to become a legend both in the cage and on the

Wold Combat Championship – Horrow Show

Wold Combat Championship – Horrow Show

The Island – The Underground (1000) 24th January

WCC brings you yet another blockbuster event from the Island, headlined by a pair of hulking heavyweights who knows what this night holds in store.

San Terra vs. Ben "Unincorporated" Pulse – 265lbs

Former HW champion Terra looks to use his deadly power to stop 205lbs champion Pulse. Terra has fantastic boxing skills with great defensive wrestling. He lost his title in his last fight and I wouldn’t want to be Pulse now with a great brute like Terra standing across from me, especially an angry Terra. Pulse is also a striker first and foremost as he overwhelms opponents from the opening bell with a flurry of strikes, his opponents usually falter within the first 2 minutes of the fight. This tactic has helped him to 5 successive 1st round finishes and the LHW title in WCC. Pulse will likely be the faster fighter on fight night but if he uses his usual tactic, he will find himself in a firefight he cannot win. I think Terra pulls this one off.

Prediction: Terra via KO

Dick Wad vs. Gunnar McGregor – 265lbs TITLE FIGHT

Wad is looking to defend his HW title against challenger McGregor. Wad is a terrifying clinch fighter, he bullies you on the inside and overwhelms with punches to the head and body, it has led him to 5 consecutive TKO wins. McGregor is a ground specialist, with relentless takedowns and a seemingly never ending gas tank that allows him to seek submission after submission. He finds himself against a guy who makes wrestlers

USFC 14: Super Saturday

Event Preview: USFC 14
United States Fighting Championship
2015-01-31, New York, Hayashi's Lounge - New York
Author:David Morrison

Concluding the United States Fighting Championship’s glorious weekend of MMA is the biggest card in the organisation’s history.

No less than three titles will be decided with Jerome “Little Jerry” Seinfeld defending his middleweight belt against Kenneth Keats. Corey. “Punishment Walk” Parker expecting a tough battle on the ground for his Heavyweight Title against L Manning Vines and Javier Martinez and Divock “Belgian Beast” Origi closing the night with what is expected to be an epic Light Heavyweight showdown.

This night has the potential to dramatically change the whole shape of the company and will surely be remembered by USFC fans forever.

The card opens with the undefeated Marian Balkon (1-0-0) attempting to continue his streak against the man who failed to capture the middleweight title at USFC 6, “Carnage” Cletus Kasady (1-4-0). This fight has the potential to be fought in all three phases of the fight game but you have to think t

Leonardo Ferreira EVO Interview

Profile of by

Leonardo "Voodoo Child" Ferreira, Q + A

Leonardo Ferreira is a man on a mission. After losing his chance at Olympic gold in a close fight with Rocky Tyson, he finds himself back at EVO welcoming newcomer Thor Skarsgard, a man who is known for his KO power. Leo himself is known for a deadly MT attack and the power he carries in his fists and feet. After switching managers, he has gone 5-1 under Dean Sutherland, a world renowned manager who brings the best out of his fighters. I had the chance to sit down with him and ask him a few questions about his upcoming fight and his future.

Reporter - You came so close to winning the Gold medal at the Winter Olympics, eventually losing a back and forth war with Rocky Tyson. Are you a man set on redemption, to prove you are the best heavyweight around?

Leo – I wouldn’t mind another shot at Rocky. I am a big believer in you have to beat the man to be the man, Brick was the man and I kicked his ass,

Thor Skarsgard EVO Interview

Fighter profile of Thor Skarsgard by

“Hammer of the Gods” Thor Skarsgard, Q + A

Not tasting defeat in 10 fights, the majority of opponents set to face Skarsgard end up knocked out, just as capable of kicking your head off as he is at punching from all angles; Skarsgard is a dangerous foe for most. Facing him will be Leonardo Ferreira a fighter who has constantly fought elite heavyweight fighters, something that the Skarsgard detractors say he has not fought the best fighters possible. Now he finds himself in EVO the home of some of the best fighters in MMA today, Skarsgard has a point to prove that he can knock out anyone at any time. I caught up with him earlier today for a quick chat about his feelings for signing with EVO and his upcoming fight, possibly a title eliminator.

Reporter - You are making your EVO debut after coming over as champion from CONFLICTION MMA. Do you feel there is any added pressure for you to perform to a high standard?

I feel no pressure. I
