Dean Sutherland Jnr

Editorial by Marcus Crassus

Dean Sutherland Jnr is a Scottish born mixed martial artist who competes in the middleweight division of the Caged Fighting Championship (CFC).

He is a former Glasgow Regional U16 Welterweight Champion, and Fairground brawler. As of 12th May 2015, Sutherland is unranked. Early life Sutherland was born on a council estate in Glasgow, and was raised on benefits.

There he began training boxing at the age of 8. At the age of 15, he competed as an amateur in Britain's first "no holds barred" competition, a bare knuckle contest for Under 16 boys from depraved backgrounds.
At the age of 18, Sutherland began training in Boxing, kickboxing and karate on the advice of his cell mate, Rory Daly Snr a convicted benefits fraudster.

Sutherland enjoyed a short stretch in the big house where he won the Prison kickboxing title. After leaving prison Sutherland was contacted by Team Alpha Male in New York who had heard of the untamed talents of Sutherland and decided to

'The World's most dominant athlete' - A rebuttal

Editorial by

Sports Illustrated named Ronda Rousey the 'World's most dominant athlete' and they're right, she is.

There is no athlete at the moment operating on such a higher level than their opponents than Ronda is. In her last three fights, she has defeated an Olympic Free Style Wrestling silver medalist, a BJJ Black Belt and a BJJ Mundials World Champion in a combined 96 seconds. That's domination.

Sports Illustrated aren't measuring Rousey against the whole of Mixed Martial Arts, they're measuring her against her field of competition, the whole of Women's Mixed Martial Arts and in that classification, she has no equal.

She's a better striker than the vast, vast majority of the competition, she is a better wrestler than most of the competition, she has by far the best takedowns in WMMA and by far the best submissions and transistions. She's the best trained female MMA fighter out there because she can afford it and sh

  CAGE FIGHTER Darren Brown

    JJ:
you just has a very big win and you already have your next fight line up. The way the fight went down, was that the game plan?

  Brown:
Absolutely, I knew i had to get him to the ground quick to be able to win the fight. He is a very good striker and i know if he kept the fight standing i had very little chance to win.

  JJ:
There was a lot of talk about you just coming off your first loss, that maybe you should have took more time off before this fight but you got the big win over a very game fighter. How was your training camp for Otso Koski ?
  Brown:
I didnt really focus on

 Bojangles VS Gash

The is looking to be the best fight the young Pride KT has seen on the island this year. Both fighters are going into the fight 2-0 with all 1st round KO/(t)KO’s.
Each fighter has a KO in under 1 min also. So what will separate the fighters in the fight?
At this point the only thing that is different between them is Gash doesn’t mind going into the clinch with a guy, while Bojangles would rather keep the fight on the outside. This fight is sure to be a treat for the crowd.

My prediction is Gash takes the fight into the clinch and wins VIA (t)KO(cuts) within the first round.

Author:Adam Leigh

1210 MMA fight fans made their way to Hayashi’s Lounge on May 16 for the best GKNY has offered yet.

Shin walked away with the welterweight title around his waist and fans got to witness Nelson’s impressive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Besides Shin’s enthralling finish of Goss, it was a night where wrestlers dominated, stuffing the stand-up of some of the better boxers in the organization.

It was a night that had 6 submission finishes (Arm Triangle, Strikes, 3x Kimura, Guillotine), 2 TKO’s (Strikes), a No Contest (Weight) and a single fight that was left to the judges. Let’s take a closer look.

[Main Event]

Nelson def. Amagov by Submission (Arm Triangle) at 00:54 of Round 1

Archie Nelson was at his best, racking up a very impressive 8th first round submission victory against solid boxer Adlan Amagov. Amagov stuffed the first takedown yet there was no denying ‘Full’ Nelson, his second attempt tackling Amagov into dangerous waters.

The BJJ specialist fighting out of New York with Mello MMA worked for an arm triangle and had the Russian tapping in no time at all, the fight ending in a mere 54 seconds in the first round. ‘Full’ Nelson slots himself into 2nd place in the welterweight division with his victory.

He’s up to 8 wins and only has the newly titled champ ahead of him.Amagov lost his first fight with GKNY, his fourth overall, and drops to 3rd as a welterweight.

Hard Knocks – New York was packed on Saturday as World Combat presented 10 fights of pure mma action! This is M. Maestro giving you a recap on what happened during that eventful evening.
I really hope you're not reading this, because if you are then you probably missed seeing awesome fighting! Let's get started!

Quiero Taco def. Brad Schmitt via KO (Head Kick)
Lightheavyweight Division
Quiero Taco improves his record to (2 – 0) following a brutal KO win against the now (1 – 2) Brad Schmitt. This fight lasted only one round as Taco unleashes his fearsome kicks unto his opponents. Two big head kicks were seen. The first kick gave Schmitt wobbly legs and the second knocked him out cold. The fight ended in just three minutes . Nothing more to say about that.

Charlie Simpson def. Tito Jackson via Submission (Arm Triangle)
Lightheavyweight Division
Another fight that ended in the first round, Tito Jackson stumbles to (0 – 1) in his debut and his first fight as a pro when he got submitted by Charlie Simpson in the first round. The fight started with Simpson going for the takedown and nailing it. From there, his aggressive jiu jitsu kicked in and after a few attempts he finally got into prime position finishing it with an arm triangle. Charlie Simpson now goes to (3 – 0) with this win here and moves up to #9 in the division.

Pdiddy “The Punisher” Parker def. “MEAN” Gene Oakerland via Decision (Unanimous) Heavyweight Division
Pdiddy Parker finally puts a win in his column as he becomes (1 – 1) when he dominated Gene Oakerland in a unanimous decision win. It was never a game for Oakerland as he was reduced to a Muai Thai punching bag. The fight is almost all clinch which suited “The Punisher” Parker's style. Oakerland never got it going and did not adapt to the gameplan. Parker landed solid elbows all throughout the fight and that scored him points and gave him the win. “MEAN” Gene Oakerland's reco
