About Me: Don Frye

A recent TMZ article was posted on their website, here is a snippet of that article.

After troubling rumours of evil activities at the Lords of War alliance headquarters we sent our ace reporter James Garcia to investigate these allegations. What he found was nothing short of scandalous and reprehensible acts of sheer heinous behaviour.

We have a statement from Dean Sutherland here about his thoughts on the situation.

“While I am glad TMZ has finally agreed to air the conclusion to their report on what goes on inside the Lords of War alliance, it must be said I feel sorry for the many innocent victims who have to

Career Breakdown - Michael Alvarez

Fighter profile of Michael Alvarez by Rain Thunder

Michael "Doom" Alvarez is a 20 year old Featherweight fighter, currently fighting for Ring of Violence organisation. Born to an American family in Albania, Himara, Alvarez is now a full-time MMA fighter that seeks to have thunderous perfomances in every one of his fights. His professional record consists of 6 wins and 3 losses, with 3 of those victories coming by way of KO or TKO.

As fans of MMA in general, we are witnessing the incredible comebacks of UFC fighters like Anthony Johnson or Robbie Lawler. We can also say that Alvarez is pretty much making the same amount of noise with his success at the current point of his career. He had 9 fights in RoV, and we can easily call him the veteran of this successful organisation, and the fans of RoV events also remember Alvarez for his strong chin and ability to stay standing even in the worst situations - Micheal has went through some WARS, and has never walked away from a battle. Alvarez started his career with 3 dominant wins, until he faced Mikhael Tomas, a decorated BJJ fighter that had a 4-1 record. He then lost by Submission (Kimura) in less than 2 minutes of Round 1 and this loss has shut down Alvarez's win streak. "Doom" was very unhappy with the loss - at that time, he was seen as the newly rising contender, which has the ability to become one of the most dominant champions RoV has seen.

Woody Forrest Interview

Fighter profile of Woody Forrest by Callum McGregor

 Interviewed by Jim What.

What: I'm joined by one of the two men who main evented the first ever Highland Challengers card; Woody Forrest. Woody, it's got to feel good to pick up your first professional win, what did walking out as the victor mean to you?

Forrest: It was great to be in the main event and getting the win means everything.

What: You were able to hurt your opponent on the feet before taking the fight to the floor and finishing it with a submission. Do you consider yourself a jack of all trades or is there an aspect of the game which you feel that you specialize in?

Forrest: I think I can stand with anyone, but if it

Event Preview: AXF '9
Australian Xtreme Fighting
2015-05-23, Sydney, Sydney Superdome
Author:Louie DePalma

Ladies and Gentlemen, AXF in Sydney is very excited to present to you this weeks epic event coming to you live from the Sydney Superdome where we expect upwards of 18, 500 rabid Australian Xtreme Fight fans to make their way to take in what will be another top notch action packed show.  This event brings us 2 great fights to call the Main Event and Co Main event of the evening as Sydney sons Lan Mandragoran and Trent Quo Titan Kirbs return once more to show off their skills for the fans once more.

Main Event - 265 lbs Lan Mandragoran vs John Arnie Ironz

Our Main Event showcases a battle between a pair of Elite level strikers who hold a combined 53 career (T)KO finishes and a combined 23 career KO losses.   Both combatants come into this match up following a Loss however they took place in much different timeframes.  Mandragoran lost in his debut fight with AXF 2 weeks ago against striker Varg Veide barely lasting into the second minute of the fight.   Meanwhile opposing Lan is veteran Arnie Ironz who will step into the cage for the first time in 10 months.  Mandragoran possessing a mixed offensive attack showcasing punches, kicks and lethal elbows in the clinch.  His 25 career KO's are an outstanding achievement however looking in his eyes from the opposite side of the cage is a fighter who holds 3 more with 28 throughout his career.   Ironz brings to the table a very similar skillset minus the elbows however is still strong in the clinch however slightly less accuracy but in this game accuracy is not the key, whatis key is landing the right strike at the right time and Ironz resume shows that taking place on 28 occasions which is enough to convince the combined 53 (T)KO finishes will hold up as history has proven time and time again.  Smart money is on seeing one of these fighters add one more fireworks filled KO to their resume and we could easily see KO of the night honours handed out following

IN THE MIX

FIGHTER: Magnus "Bear" Cross

Jay jay: Magnus welcome to IN THE MIX

You have a big fight coming up this will be the 3rd time you face Clinton Offley you lost one and won one how does this fight go down ?

Magnus: Hopefully he'll go down early in the 1st round Jay jay. Offley is too far gone...totally baked last time we fought so my confidence is up, Although i am fully aware he has since got a new manager.

Jay jay: you win this fight and you fight for the belt you are only 20 years old But there is no doubt you should be fighting for the crown if you win this fight How well do you match up with the current champion and his next opponent?

Magnus: (chuckle) I might only be 20 but I’ve had the belt set in my sights since i moved to the island at 18 and started serious training. The current champ? Gumball?....I got nothing to say on him. Lazaro?..Pedro is a great fighter and i look forward to knocking him out if i see him again. I've been training hard and can smash either one of them.

Highland Games 77 Preview

Event Preview: Highland Games 77
Highland Games
2015-05-22, London, Camden Conference Centre
Author:Callum McGregor

Hello and welcome to this preview for Highland Games 77. The card is going to be headlined by the rubber match between Massimo Benvenuti and Arnavut Sevket. This is going to be a fight for the ages between two of the most technical and intelligent strikers in the game. Let’s take a look.

Michael Thigpen (3-1) Vs John Pinaglabanan (6-2) – Bantamweight

Michael is coming off the first loss of his career so he’ll be looking to kick his Highland Games run off to a good start. He will try and use a ground and pound based style in this fight, but his recent failures in training have led to him looking very bad on the scales. John Pinaglabanan was on an impressive 6 fight win streak when he joined HG. In the organisation, he faced two top guys in Dan Sten and Darth Vader. Unfortunately he lost both, but in going the distance with these he is sure to have a lot of confidence in a fight at this level.

Pat Rachi (3-0) Vs Narikaev Ruslan (4-0)Â
