NEI A History Part 1

Meat\\\'s Slaughter House II, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Speedy Gonzaitev

am seated at a bar in downtown London seated next to the somewhat infamous, or should i say famous? I honest don't know but anyway, I am sitting next to the owner and CEO of NEI Jolon Williams doing a comprehensive history on London's fastest rising organization, currently 4th in the city.

The first event NEI: Ignition 1 was hosted in Wild Bob's bar in London garnering a 69.52 ranking while filling the arena with 750 crazed fans out for blood as Gregory Matice earned the first ever KO of the night award with a KO (Slam) in the first minute of the very first round. The first ever submission of the night award went to Oliver Kahn for his slick guillotine choke 50 seconds into the first bout in NEI history. FOTN went to the first main event in NEI history Shane McMahon vs Trevor Busta with a (KO) Punches at 4:28 of the first round.

Alexi: First off, before we get started, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule for this interview Jolon, what was your reaction to the first event in your org's history?

Jolon: It was a mixture of emotions, actually. On the bright side, the event had been quite satisfactory. Everyone showed up, we scored a decent rating and sold out the venue. I could feel it then, that it was the beginning of something quite great. But on the less triumphant side of things, there was a mix up with ticket pricing which jeopardized our revenue. Sadly, we failed to make a profit therefore

Bantamweight: "Fat" Big Daddy (2-6) vs "Urban" Donald Crawford (0-0-1)

Donald Crawford had a frustrating start to his career with his majority draw debut and will look to take out that annoyance on a man who is just as frustrated 8 fights into his career. Big Daddy is very much on the bottom rung of TTFC's famous bantamweight ladder but he such a significant experience advantage that he may never get a better chance to record his first TTFC victory than against Crawford. This one figures to be a brawl as neither man has shown much of an eye for technique in their careers to date, admittedly Crawford having had limited opportunity to do so. Big Daddy has a good chin and Crawford has the boxing to test it so this could be an exciting o

Nearly 13,000 Canadian Fighting Championship fans packed the Montreal Sports Complex this weekend to witness the coronation of a new middleweight champion and the re-emergence of a long-time heavyweight contender.

Remy LeBeau d. Brett Isildor (strikes)
A newcomer to the CFC, LeBeau immediately stepped into a title fight against the under-sized 185 lbs champion Isildor, fresh off a triad of fights against Lance St Pierre.  It was a dominating performance by LeBeau who consistently landed punch and leg kicks against Isildor, but really showcased his dominance in the clinch. A minute into the third round LeBeau sent Isildor to the mat with an uppercut, a blow that Isildor never recovered from and the fight was stopped mo

"The Suede Swede" Johan Blick vs. "Special Agent" Lj Gibbs
A classic Grappler v. Grappler match.Gibbs has an more than mediocre record, which might have exposed his bad chin.On paper he has good BJJ with above average boxing but in his fights he always goes for the takedown and he gets them,as he is a very strong dude. On the ground he is dangerous with a strong submission game, even though he was outgrappled at more than one point.Standing 1,82 m tall, and weighing 187 pounds,he is a big welterweight, which he most certain

Antonio Montana vs Justin Mayhem (Welterweight Title Fight)

The main event of the evening sees rising mega-star Antonio Montana attempting to defend his belt for the third time. Montana is a veteran CFC fighter with all but two of his 21 career fights coming in the CFC cage. He’s also a rare example of a fighter who has had more successful after he moved up in weight class.  Since becoming a welterweight, he has an impressed 8-1 record. Montana is primarily a boxer, but has worked to round out his game recently, improving his muay thai and jiu jitsu – recently securing his only career sub win.  Justin Mayhem has been on an incredible roll since leaving Synchonicity for the CFC, rattling off four consecutive wins. He also is a traditional boxer with good defensive grappling and may in fact have an advantage with his hands.  To date the champ has never been stopped whil

Main Event: Welterweight Division: "Architect of Destruction" Ted Mosby v Karakteri “Dashuri” Praktika
There was a lot hype leading up to the fight in the main event and the hype was worth it alright. The first round started with a nice inside leg kick from Praktika and then avoided a takedown from Mosby with a nice sprawl. Praktika was putting a clinic on with his leg kicks, it was one after the other and Mosby seemed to have no answer for it. Another leg kicks hit and Mosby shoots for a takedown, however he only gets one arm around Praktika, who in turn got a quick underhook and threw Mosby to the side and then followed it with yet another hard leg kick. Again Mosby has the need to go for a takedown but once again it is stopped by Praktika. Praktika is relentless here and continues to hit devastating leg kicks and even a nasty looking kick

Main Event of the Evening: Light Heavyweight Division: Sean Carter Willams (3-0-0) vs. Kimmo Susitunturi (2-1-0)
(The Fight)
Round 1:
As the main event starts the two fighters touch gloves and get the action underway. And as Williams lands his first punch on the head of Kimmo blood starts to appear as Kimmo is cut already. Williams continues to land shot after shot trying to aim at the cut and the cut becomes worse as one punch knocks Kimmo to the ground. Williams smiles as he mouths ''Bring it on'' and Kimmo stands back up. But he stands up only to be knocked back down again by a brutal uppercut that causes Kimmo's mouthpiece to fly outside the cage.
