Chong Li Interview

Fighter profile of Chong Li by Callum McGregor

Interviewed by Jim What.

What: Chong Li, who is scheduled to fight Armando Esposito at Highland Challengers 2, is standing by with me now. Chong, as we haven't seen you fight in the cage before, we are unsure of what to expect. For the fans at home, what will they see when you enter the cage on Sunday night?

Li: They are going to see a war.  It's my first time in the cage, but I've been training hard for it.

What: If you plan for a war, do you have your sights set on a potential Fight of the Night bonus?

Li: Every fighter has their sights set on that. We're not kidding ourselves, here.  I want that, too, but I also want to bring the fans the type of fight they want to see. And I want my hand raised at the end of it.

What: Do you have any fears about entering the cage? With it being your debut, things can work out differently from the gym. If any, what do you fear most about making your debut?

POLISH MMA

Editorial by Piotr Jaroń

Polish MMA

The first contact with the MMA in Poland took place in 1996, when it Poznan Aikido instructor Charles Matuszczak after watching the first UFC gal made contact with the student Rickson Gracie, who taught him the basics of a new discipline. In 2000, he organized a struggle for Polish Championship in the Free rollers which was attended by: Charles Matuszczak and Tomasz Jamróz. This fight is not regarded as the first Polish MMA bout since its rules were heavily truncated (especially the ground).

The first historical struggle in Poland (according to standard rules of MMA) organized during the fair Miroslaw Okniński Body bodybuilding show which was held in Warsaw 10.10.2002. In this historic struggle faced: Themistocles Teresiewicz and Grzegorz Jakubowski. After 45 minutes, cage fighting murderous declared a draw.

It is also important date 24.02.2004 r. That's when we had the first historical show KSW Marriott Hotel in Warsaw. T

Marcin Kowalski Interview

Fighter profile of Marcin Kowalski by Callum McGregor

Interviewed by Jim What.

What: Congratulations to Marcin Kowalski on his victory over Eduardo Santos on Friday night. You have to be happy about picking up the win right Marcin?

Kowalski: First of all, I want to apologize for my English but it's not my main language and I need to practice it.  And about the question.

Yea, I'm happy but not very much. It was very, very boring fight and I can't lie about it. Of course it's not Eduardo fault, he's a great fighter and very dangerous on the ground. cont...

155 lbs Championship Fight: Tony Bullard vs Garrick Head

Coming into his first defence of the lightweight championship Bullard is surely the favourite against Head. GKNY 11 - 04/07/15

GAMMA Rising Stars (ID 290K+), Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Andy McKenzie

Whilst we just fell short of selling out the Underground GKNY did set some records last weekend. Org records were set in 3 out of the 4 areas with it being set as having the highest fighter pay of all times at $146500 disclosed fighter pay (No wonder i'm not making a profit!). The highest ticket revenue at $147642 but most importantly our highest event rating to date at 107.81.

The card showcased 10 fights 8 of which ended by KO / TKO, 1 by submission and only 1 by decision.

Our fight of the night was between Alexy Innokenti and Charles Batzcastelmore, where we saw Alexy become the new champ. Both fighters got cut in the fight which lasted 3 of the scheduled 5 rounds and the ex-champ showed he had the heart of a lion after getting back to his feet twice from knockdowns before our new champ finally managed to turn off his lights. The KO came just in time as it looked like the referee was about to call the doctor in to check

Spencer Kilco reporting for £4£: The best for MMA News, Views and Reviews

Bullet Proof System presents United States Fighting Championship 52 in New York this Sunday. The stacked card features Wes Good (7-2) fighting Jutta Hanolla (10-1-1) for the vacant middle weight title. Don’t forget to buy your BPS gear while saving the date for USFC 52.

185 lbs Championship Fight: Wes Good vs Jutta Hanolla

The much loved Finnish fighter has the fans support going into this fight. Hanolla’s first title comes after a devastating first round knockout over Fionn McCool back in May. This also his first ever fight at 185 usually fighting 205. The cut shouldn’t be too taxing for the twenty three year old and may give him a favourable advantage on fight night. Jutta "Spike" Hanolla is a fantastic all-rounder w

Machine is a BJJ fighter, and Tyranus is a Muay Thai fighter.  Ding Ding !   Tyranus straight to the clinch where he starts throwing knees as Machine is trying to pull guard.  Tyranus lands an elbow and cuts Machine, and Machine pulls guard.  Tyranus stands and grabs a clinch where he is using elbows to work the cut on Machine which is getting worse and worse...  Less than a minute left in the round and Tyranus drops Machine with a knee but Machine is back on his feet and rocked.  Tyranus clinches again and again drops
