Nossa! was a fitting title for KOTB 17, as we had a ton of early finishes in a flurry of knockouts, chokes and joint locks. KOTB prides itself in the grappling presence in its roster, and this was prevalent during the five submission finishes and extended grappling exchanges throughout the night. The fans of the striking arts were not forgotten either, as we had a number of sub-2-minute knockouts on the card to mix things up.

Opening the night’s proceedings was a lightweight rematch between Malaysian muay thai specialist, Jon Duangjan, and Rio’s Pablo Esposito. “Destruction” won the previous meeting with a devastating second round headkick, but “Breaker” would find himself some revenge in this one.

After taking a few shots coming in, Esposito would secure a takedown and latch on to deep kneebar and force the tap to go along with the screams of his opponent. A rubber match is sure to be on the horizon for these two combatants some time in the future.

SHW - Harley Peters (0-0-0, 0-0 RSF) v Kyrile "Giant" Bolshov (0-1-0, 0-0 RSF)

The RSF 1 card opens with a battle between two fighters of opposing backgrounds. Making his professional debut in the very first fight of the evening is Harley Peters, a fresh-faced 18 year old wrestler from Bradford, England. Hoping to start Peter's career with a loss will be Kyrile Bolshov, a boxer of gargantuan frame, who stands at an enormous 7'2. Peters will likely be looking to take this fight to the mat and win via submission or ground and pound, whereas Bolshov will do all he can to remain standing and end the fight with a knockout. One fighter will leave the octagon with the first victory of their career under their belt, but who will it be? Who will be the RSF's first ever victor?

LW - Kyko De Santos (0-0-0, 0-0 RSF) v Oswald "the Saint" Nordic (1-1-0, 0-0 RSF)

Bantamweights

Zoran Markovic - Coming into this tournament representing Ultimate Proving Grounds, Markovic is the reigning champion and he will be happy at being a fighter competing at his natural weight class. He competed in just one fight under old manager Matt Cave, and despite a shaky start to his time with current manager Elmeri Siimanvarjo with two losses, he comes into this tournament on a 15 fight unbeaten streak (13 wins, 2 draws).

Boreste Bardanos - Boreste Bardanos is the Troid EP representative in this division, and is the current 145lbs champion in the org. He competed in Epicity Productions previously, finishing up with a 7-1 record before the merge of EP and Troid occurred and Bardanos was given a title shot against Tuomari Hurmio, with Bardanos picking u

There were some doubts about this card in recent days, but a last minute replacement has filled the card and we’re off to the races. Title fights at welterweight and lightweight will headline a main card that features eight undefeated fighters and a very important middleweight matchup.

Ryan “Neto” Gracie (3-0, 2-0) v Bruce “The Dragon” Lee (2-0, 0-0)

Opening the main card will be a middleweight showdown between Rio’s Ryan Gracie and a newcomer out of China, Bruce Lee. Gracie will be looking to keep his legendary namesake proud with his third straight submission in KOTB competition and move into the top 15 of the division. Lee has is own legendary namesake to make proud, but is coming in as a bit of an unknown in his promotional debut. The striker appears to throw wild competitions and uses his grappling to keep the fight standing, but we’ll see if he’s

USFC 81 Preview

Hey what up MMA world? Here is Victorio! It's been a long time since my last write up and I'm back in action! I am bringing an anticipating event: USFC 81 which is taking place in Liberty Dome, New York on 21st November so ready for your tickets! This event has no title fights on the line and we have two solid HW contenders to headline the event as the former two-time title challenger Scott Parker is colliding against another former title challenger Vaclav Mika. This gon' be good. The rest of the card is going to deliver too as we have fighters from top to bottom layers and from different weightclasses there so......what are you waiting for? Let's take a look at the preview first!

LHW bout: Maxwell "The Great" Koko (5-7, 1-6 in USFC) vs Dido Vicini (0-0)

Starting off the event we have two young LHW fighters, one looking to rebound, and one looking to shine. The red corner Maxwell Koko used to be a 4-1 fighter before joining USFC who is known of his purple belt BJJ skills. Anyway, perhaps the competition in USFC is too much for him so his career went downhill since then. He is 1-6 in the org and somehow still having love of it. But he has to win a fight so bad. Anyway, Koko isn't going to have an easy time to score a win against David Morrison's own Dido Vicini. In first glance I thought his name is dildo but nevermind. He's a 20 year old BJJ brown belt who has yet fighting in MMA but already took a match in

 EVENT REVIEW

FIGHT 1 – JJ JARDINE (1-2-0) V SPARTACUS SALONIUS (0-3-0)

265LB

With both fighters coming in off (T)KO losses in their RFC debuts, and both on two fight skids, a loss tonight could well spell the end of their tenure in RFC. It was expected that Salonius would use his superior boxing and wrestling to dictate where the fight would take place and dominate Jardine. Jardine however, was reading from a different script.

Taking Salonius down early in the first, it was Jardine who showed more desire to get the W
