Stand off ends in tragedy at RCG

Rio Chain Gang 270+, Fight Organization, Rio de Janeiro
Company profile by Alan Maynard

The Chain Gang bunch are at it again. Once again, the Brazilian Federal Police were summoned by the local authorities to respond to reports of “shots fired” at the Rio Chain Gang offices.

Upon arrival, local authorities found a shooter had barricaded himself in the office and was holding org owner Alan Maynard hostage, and The Brazilian Federal Police were called in.

The federal police started negotiations soon upon arrival, but the situation took a turn for the worse when gunfire began to ring out. With negotiation ruled out, the SWAT team was called in. It wasn't long before the SWAT team swarmed the offices, they are familiar the RCG offices and it's layout from past raids. Mr Maynard was rescued with only minor injuries, but the shooter was taken to Rio General Hospital in critical condition.

The shooter has since been identified as Dicky Fatton, who was a fighter for the Chain Gang. According to a source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, Fatton was involved in fight fixing ring that included 11 fighters.

Mr Maynard had become aware of what was happening and had fired all of them. Trying to avoid scandal he had chosen not to bring law enforcement in to it. Fatton was threatening Mr Maynard's life if he did not re-instate all of them.

GAMMA: HOF Criteria

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

The Hall of Fame (HOF) is the ultimate reward for any fighter and GAMMA has the largest HOF in the game. To induct a fighter into the HOF an org needs to run at least 10 events, which means on average just 5 fighters per year for most orgs. We currently have 52 fighters in our Hall of Fame. Due to us virtually reaching our cap and there being a LOT of legitimate candidates, we will now be considering fighters still actively fighting, if they meet the criteria, so basically we will select who we feel is currently most worthy of this honor at this current time based upon specific criteria.

When considering which fighters will make it to our Hall of Fame we look at several factors. The factors we look into are things such as how long they were fighting in GAMMA, wins

SP-ICON Insiders

Steel Penn Fighting Temple, Fight Organization, Hilo
Company profile by Justin Credible

Welcome to this week’s edition of The SP-ICON Insider’s Show. I’m your host Justin Credible, I have two great former MMA Tycoon fighters with me to help with analysis. To my right we have former CFC Middleweight champion Jake Franklin (2882), and to my left we have former TFC Lightweight Champion Andre Banks (3362).

JC: Ladies and gentlemen we are here tonight discussing SP-ICON’s two events this weekend. Two great cards this weekend, a lot of intriguing match-ups so let’s jump right in. We start our weekend off with the 185lb bash, a card with only 8 fights on it, which seems odd but it has some great matches on it.

JF: Yeah Justin, I love the 185lb division I believe it is the toughest division to rise up in. This card has a ton of great looking fights. One fight I’m really looking forward to is Angel Toney V.S. Allen Robinson. Both dudes are black belts in BJJ, and both also like to stand and bang.

AB: Hold on Jake, the fight you MOST looking forward to is between a guy who is 20-8, which is a great record, against a guy who is 15-22???? C’mon man!

JF: Look little guy, I’m just saying the fight is going to be exciting, and by the looks of their previous fights, I see a KO coming our way in this one.

JC: I have to say though, the record really holds no weight as to how the fight is going to play out. What will have some weight (or lack thereof) is how much heavier Robinson

IFC 7 Preview By: Justin Credible

ISLAND FC, Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Justin Credible

Hey guys it’s Justin Credible back with no spelling errors and a run-down of Island FC’s 7th event! This one is coming to you live on Feb, 3, 2016! It’ll feature 2 title bouts and some scary looking prospects. Without further ado let’s get into the preview.

Starting things off we have Lance Cozad v Herminio Herculano! This one is going to be battle of distance, one man will be looking to utilize his Muay Thai, the other will be looking to utilize his boxing. Lance Cozad is still reeling from the first KO loss of his career and is looking to use his opponent as a stepping stone to show people that it was a fluke KO.

While Herminio Herculano will be looking to continue his winning ways, after dominating his opponent in his QFC fight (the judges had it 20-16 through 2 rounds). He’ll definitely be looking to take this fight into the clinch and dominate his opponent with his epic knees and elbows. This one is going to be a chess match, I’m taking Herminio Herculano to clinch this victory! (Get it CLINCH this victory? You get it!)

Blaster Monocastor v Obat Timur do battle next. This bout is intriguing because it features a IFC vet against a hyped prospect making his IFC debut, who will win? Will nerves take over? Is

Author:Dale Saw

Jay: Haha. Welcome to Ray & Jay's Excellent MMA Adventures. Today's show we will discuss UPF 36: Fukumatsu Vs. De Vries. But, before we get into it, I would like to make an announcement; the UPF has acquired another org. It will be run by none other than Jamie McKenna former President of Operations here at the UPF. Now he is at UPF Underground, in London. Ultimate Pit Fighting Underground, also known as UPF Underground, will be a "feeder" org for the UPF. Their best fighters will eventually sign with the UPF. In time the UPF will be a common household name in the MMA tycooniverse. Now, back to the task at hand. UPF 36: Fukumatsu Vs. De Vries is brought to you by, AnonymouS, in Montreal the only place for best MMA gear available, and by UPF Sports Book and Chain Gang Bookies, the best odds offered on any events around! Ok enough of the rambling, pops the first fight on the card.

Ray: Hey everybody this is Ray. Boy am I excited about this weeks card, we have an incredible line up. The only thing that could make this card any better would be if Dwayne "D-Bo" Boskins was on the card, he is such an exciting fighter to watch. Alright enough with the fantasies, let's talk about what we really have this week. The opening fight of the night pits two lightweight fighters for three rounds. Daniel "King" Kim will face Chael Blanket. Both
