Bad Blood At RAPIDFC 6

Event Preview: RapidFC 6
Rapid Fighting Championship 340k+
2018-12-13, Sydney, Micro Arena - Sydney
Author:

The eyes of the MMA world will soon be falling on Sydney as Kevin “Big Poppa” Maxwell takes on Paul “Big Ball” Castilano in a grudge match headlining RapidFC 6 on December 13. With the 265lbs belt on the line, there’s not much else to look out for as the entire card only contains two fights, with a 185lbs three-round fluff-off between no-names Shane Tull and Kangaroo Jack taking place before the main event.

The bout between Maxwell and Castilano is sure to be a spicy one, as upcoming superstar Maxwell has been extremely active on Buzz, handing out Ls left and right in the trash talking stakes. It was only a matter of time before a challenger appeared hoping to “shut up” the brash 20-year-old from Melbourne.

While this fight is billed as a 5 rounds x 5 minutes championship match, few believe it will go the distance. While the 25-year-old New Yorker Castilano has ended his last two fights by way of strikes (a poor method of victory that only shows your oppo

JAG Battle League (330k), Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Will Brawler

A Look Inside: JAG Edition. Will: Welcome to a new interview column called a A Look Inside: JAG Edition. To get this started off right I have decided to start the interview with the man himself, the brain child behind JAG, our owner Nate Baker. Nate: Thanks for having me, bro. I love being able to share my thoughts on my ideas, org and fighters. Let's do this. Will: So lets get this started! First off what made you want to develop and open the doors for JAG? Nate: As a new manager, I made a lot of mistakes concerning my fighters careers. Their builds, their training, what fights to take. Let me tell you, some orgs don't give a damn about your fighters. They will out your fighter on the back burner. Or, even worse, make your fighter a punching bag or a fluff fighter to boost their favorites recird. I wanted JAG to cater to new managers and fighters. I'm not going to make uneven matchups, save when it comes to title or requested fights. I try to work with managers, emphasizin

UFC 231

Editorial by Mark Flame

Undefeated feather weight, T-City, Brian Ortega will be meeting current feather weight champion Max Hollaway in the octagon today in Toranto, Canada. Brian Ortega has been on a finishing streak with a current record of 15-0. His most recent win was against Frankie Edgar a man who'd never been finished before, demonstrating that Ortega was more then a JuJistu Black belt but also had nasty boxing power. Max Hollaway on the other hand has hada tough year with thi medical issues, he hasn't fought in over year, however yesterday he made weight and looked healthy for the upcoming fight. This is his chance to make his comback, and restart the Blessed train.

Albertas Promising Prospect

Fighter profile of Dajaun Biggums by Doc Dannis

Dajaun Biggums, (3-0-0) ended his first title fight at FARTMMA5 much the same as he has ended all his fights, with a first round stoppage due to strikes. Biggums uses his top level wrestling technique to take his opponents down and then displays a dominating and powerful ground and pound with a very strong top game, a gameplan that has proven to be too much for any of his opponents thus far in his young mma career.  Biggums has been a long time amatuer wrestler in Alberta,Calgary,Canada and has enjoyed some early success with his crossover to mma, Biggums says his toughness and dedication comes from his long time affiilation with the Spartan Wrestling Club (located in Calgary,Canada) which he has been apart of since he was just 9 years old. Biggums says " I would love to become a two division champion but first I would like to run through my division and show everyone here (at FARTMMA) I am the best". Biggums surely has no shortage of confidence when it comes to his abilities and

Nap Time with Max

Fighter profile of Max Maxwell by Will Brawler

Max Maxwell is an up and coming fighter out of Germany on this season of The Island. This young man fights for Rise on the Island in their 170lb division. Can this young man be the next best thing? Max is currently the 196 ranked Pound for Pound fighter on the Island with a MMA record of 2-0-0. Both of this young mans fights have come by way of Submission in the very first round. What will happen when he gets challenged past the first round? Does he have the necessary conditioning and morale to stay in the fight? He has fought twice in 10 days but doesn't have another fight scheduled yet, Who will be his next opponent? Will he tap them out with a Kimura as well or will he become just another flash in the pan fighter.

Only time will tell, but right now this kid seems to give all his heart in every fight even if it only lasts 23 seconds.
