Owen Hill over Forger Craftsman Via Submission

In the first fight of the night we had a very dominant preformance that was put out by hill and showed great promise from such a young prospect. The fight started out with just Craftsman looking as if he was uncomfortable from the start he was never able to set up his own gameplan and fell victom to his opponents stradegy. Basically this was a good fight to show off the dominance this fighter can possess when hes out there in the cage but can he continue it only time will tell.

Gream Shroom over Lowe Madlangtuta Via Decision

Moving on to the second fight of the night we had what i seem to believe was the most i have seen a guy get beat without giving up in a fight. Shroom came into the ring with victory on his mind and he sure got it in a very brutal fashion putting on a pretty good beating however he did not finish. Lowe showed great heart out there getting caught a few times and was dropped and also cut but he did not let this phase him he just recovred put up his gloves and fought like a true combatant of the cage. Maybe Shroom does not have great KO power but untill we see him fight again I shall give Lowe a tip of the hat for taking the beating that he did.

Austin Taylor over Micheal Campbell Via Submission

Rolling on to the third match we had a battle of two guys who are no stranger to the cage however this fight did not hit the one minute mark. Campbell worked his gameplan well however his gameplan just so happned to fall right into his opponent

Rodrigo "Scary Skilled" Oliveira (0-1-1) Vs. Rodrigo "Puffpuffpass" Reefer (0-3-0)

Kicking us off is the fight for the rights of the name Rodrigo winner takes it the other guy must change there name immediatley. Oliveira has been out of action for quite a few month's, looks like he has been devoted to turning his career around. "Scary Skilled" is coming out there with fantastic Muay Thai and a BJJ Purple belt. He has a good chin so i see him using his Muay Thai skills a lot in this bout look for him to explode early. Reefer is on a 3 fight loosing streak and really needs this fight to stay alive in the org. He has some awesome Boxing just has not been able to use it much. SOTF 7: Vengeance Preview

Survival of the Fittest

Author:Michel Sakr

After six successful events, New  York’s fastest rising MMA organization, Survival of the Fittest, presents SOTF 7: Vengeance, an event that will be brought to you live from the Hard Knocks arena on Sunday the 9th of September, and as usual in association with our merchandise partners, Canadian Fighter Clothing. This event will feature 10 exiting bouts, headlined by the fight between top ranked lightweights, Joao Pequeno and Happy Day. Let’s get our detailed fight per fight preview started:

Dean Campana v Scott Donavan

We kick things off with the welterweights. Young wrestler and BJJ brown belt, Dean Campana makes his SOTF debut. Welcoming him to his new organization is the veteran boxer and BJJ purple belt Scott Donavan who will be hopping to end his 7 fight loosing streak, possibly with a good old fashioned knockout. Meanwhile Campana will try to utilize his superior ground game to get the win that will establish him as another serious prospect at 170.

Chris Adams v Joseph Sekyere

We move down to the lightweights, where 2 young fighters will be making their respective SOTF debuts with both men hoping to get their first career win. 24 year old Muay Thai specialist, Chris Adams, will try to utilize his big reach advantage to dominate the striking game. On the other hand, well-rounded 19 year old fighter Joseph Sekeyere still has time to turn his career around, but after 4 straight losses, he has to start now, so expect this to be a do-or-die fight.

Bewter Hacks v Jack Kulen

It’s time for the the heavyweights folks. Two 23 year old proficient boxers will battle it out for the win. Boston’s own Bewter Hacks is still searching his first professional win, and there’s no better time to do so than during his promotional debut. Meanwhile Philippino fighter Jack Kulen is already an SOTF veteran, having already fought on the organization’s first two events, getting a win via TKO and then dropping a unanimous decision. Both fighters could be looking for the knockout, but it’s worth men

Syndicate 132 Review

Event Review: Syndicate 132
Sydney Fight Championship
2012-09-01, Hilo, Hula's
Attendance:17,580, Event Rating:460
Author:

A capacity crowd of 17,580 fans filled Hula's in Hilo on Saturday night to witness Syndicate 132 while well over 100,000 MMA fans from around the world joined via PPV from the comfort of their homes. Most fans love nothing more than to see a fighter finish a fight with a good solid knockout and man did they get a treat on Saturday. Eight of the ten fights on the card ended via KO or TKO and kept the bloodthirsty fans on the edge of their seats.

In the first fight on the card, veteran Quinton Jackson (15-8) gave rookie Jason Eckstein (0-1) a brutal welcome to the world of cage fighting. Eckstein came out of his corner looking somewhat timid, while Jackson was determined to push the pace and keep the youngster on his heels. While Eckstein tried to pick his spots, Jackson unleashed an onslaught of punches on him, tagging him just after the three minutes mark with a big right hand that rocked him. Jackson smelled blood in the water and finished Eckstein off with a huge three punch combination, knocking him unconscious and sending him to a loss in his first career fight. Jackson's heavy hands and highlight reel knockout were good enough to win him the Knockout Of The Night Award.

The next fight on the card lasted a little bit longer than the first one, but not by much. Middleweight Jeff Spicoli (19-9-1) used excellent work in the clinch to his advantage to finish off Ragnar Danneskjold (23-17) before he could make it out of round one. Danneskjold came out early trying to land strikes from a distance with little success, so he chose to take the fight to the clinch. This turned out to be a very poor decision as Spicoli stifled a couple of takedown attempts by Danneskjold while hammering him with heavy punches. Spicoli broke the clinch and ate and nice high kick from Danneskjold that cut him open. Seeing the site of his own blood enraged Spicoli sending him charging after Danneskjold, putting him in the clinch and administering a beating on him. Spicoli eventually broke the clinch and took the upper hand fighting from a distance. He rocked Danneskjold with a nasty cross and then snatched him into the clinch again. Spicoli drilled him with a few more shots to the head before annihilating him with a huge uppercut that dropped Danneskjold to his knees. Spicoli showed no mercy, unleashing a pounding and his dazed opponent, causing the referee to jump in for the stoppage 4:55 into round one.

The heavyweights did not disappoint in the third fight that saw Piotr Rasputin (26-11) fall to Shane Carwin (18-11). The fight started off with Rasputin stinging Carwin with a steady dose of leg kicks, while Carwin was throwing punches and looking to clinch. Just past the one minute mark, Rasputin pushed Carwin up against the cage and clinched him. He landed a couple of nice shots on Carwin before breaking the clinch. Rasputin continued to throw carefully placed kicks and jabs at Carwin while Carwin was looking

A very good evening to all of the Kings out there, whether you be currently reigning or still awaiting your chance to usurp the crown. K-Rad here in what will be the last official preview for some time as I have been asked to move into Ganja's rather flamboyant tie-dyed shoes after he took the place of Osama Bin Laden on the US Government's most wanted list and has been forced to go to ground until either the heat dies down or the US military carpet bombs enough Pakistani civilians that they manage to wing him with some stray shrapnel. As it stands, 4K.43 is shaping up to be a great event, despite the lack of title challenges, and it reminds me some what of a pickup line I always found to be successful with the ladies: "You. Me. My bed. Your arse". The offer they can't refuse. Now to take your mind off of the kinds of women I am known to associate with, let's take a look at this week's lineup:

HWP 290: Hooker v Brown! PREVIEW

Did you dudes see the poster? Is that some homo-erotic business or what? Fifty Shades of Cage. Even has the BDSM leather thing going on. Anyhow, word is that it is title fight time and that same word says that it is between Hooker and Brown for the openweight championship. That's some exciting business and with plenty of other talent to back it up the MMA Grand in Vegas is the place for you North American types to be spending your evening. There is gambling on offer and you know my predictions are rock solid. Sometimes. Maybe. So with that in mind I should let you know that the man himself, Mr CBD has informed me that there is a new gambling and OTN system in place. There is a 10k minimum for OTN so make sure your styles be snazzy and the amount of money bet on the HWP card will be directly linked to increases in OTN awards so if you're pretty confident your boy is going to win in style then put some big cash down on that fight as the more that is bet on the total card, the more the OTN awards will be! I have also been requested to give

Jafar Agrabah vs Mordecai Wollsey

It will be his first fight here in Blitzkrieg for the former Syn Champion, Jafar Agrabah. He looks to go against a very solid opponent in Mordecai Wollsey in the lightweight division. There is no doubt in my mind that the action will be pushed here when these two 155lbs fighters go at it. The Square Garden in NY will start the view of Blitz 134 with an epic collision of
