Ascension – TOL Preview

Welcome to another event from Ascension, your favourite MMA org..and what a night this is going to be..3 titles on the line..its a night that’s sure to drive the fans mad..lets take a look at the top fights..

Taj Al Din v/s Mason Archer

The 205 lbs title is on the line..and with better boxing, MT and BJJ, Al Din looks all set to take it away from Archer..but Archer isn’t going to let go of that title so easily..He is going to give it everything and try and beat Al Din..lets wait and see who would prove the better fighter on that day..

Wade Wilson v/s Lazarus Jones

Its the 185 lbs title thats up for grabs in this one..With better boxing. MT and wrestling, Wilson looks to be the better on paper..but this is a title match..and I don’t think the fighters are going to fight like given on paper..Jones knows the importance of this match and is going to try his best to win that title..

Lee Perry v/s Tyrone Biggums

With perfect wrestling and a black BJJ belt Perry will be looking to take his opponent down and maybe use his superior ground

Hey Everybody! I know it's been a while since you've heard from me, and I do apologize for that. You want more than an apology? Well here's a recap on three big weekenders since I've disappeared!

BFT 142 Choake vs See

Welterweight - Jan "Bleeder" Den Knieschijf Unanimous Decisions "Brown and Pound" Ball Sack Jr.

The first round was almost entirely taken place in the clinch. Den Knieschijf took the fight there and had his way with it. He kept on the offensive in the clinch and took the round. The second round saw hints of the first round, with the fight going to the clinch, but Ball had a different idea. He had broke the clinch relatively quickly and had his way at the distance. He first gave Jan a cut right under the eye after landing great jab-body hook combo. He kept on the offensive and rocked him with an ENORMOUS combo. Den Knieschijf held on until the end of the round, but certainly lost it. The final stanza had a large portion. But Den Knieschijf did a good job at avoiding serious damage and was able to land pretty fairly often.

Co-Main - Heavyweight - Steve "The Tank" Tompkins Unanimous Decision Joseoh Mageramsky

Mageramsky started this fight off with a bang. He took the fight down to the ground and immediately got to the mount! It

265lbs - Jack Potatos vs Emeka Shakur

Geezers heavyweight legend Jack Potatos returns to the cage after an epic encounter with Jan Paulsen to take on the ultra talented and world class Emeka Shakur. Riding a silky wave of momentum, Emeka Shakur is coming off one of the greatest finishes in Geezers history in which he finished with a superman punch knockout in the 3rd frame. He came to Geezers after a respectable stint in the NFC and will be striving for uncontested dominance in the heavyweight division. His punching power is simply devastating and he is more than capable of knocking any man out with a clean bungalow to the chops. The man blocking his path to glory is the titanic Jack Potatos, an organizational legend who defies odds and pulls out inspirational performances. He is a striking technician and has gone toe to toe with the some of the greats and even in loss has put up noble efforts. These men have very few holes in their game but a slight striking and experience advantage go to Shakur as he comes into this fight 4 years the elder. Potatos is a scrappy fighter but I predict that Shakur will get the job done and force a ref stoppage via TKO in the 3rd round.

265lbs - Cliff Huxtable vs Kristow Zedski

The jetski Kristow Zedski makes his sixth appearance in Geezers as he welcomes the highly dangerous Cliff Huxtable to the organization in what should be a creamy heavyweight attraction. Huxtable makes his way to Geezers with a stellar resume

Let's head inside the cage and check out the action.

HERO 36: Torrez vs Fish

Prelims

Welterweight Division:  Kurttu Pelli vs Arttu Attila

Attila took two quick shots from Pelli and decided he didn't like it. He took the fight to the mat, where he had a hefty advantage. From half guard, he went for the kimura and Pelli had no way to resist. The fight ended in the very first minute. Result: Attila by 1st round submission (Kimura)

Featherweight Division: Mad Child vs Liam Nate

Liam Nate displayed strong wrestling skills in this one. His ability to get takedowns clearly won him the third round and kept the other rounds very close. However,

HMMA 37 Okamoto V Matsu Preview

HEROIC
2012-10-20, London, Camden Conference Centre
Author:

Weston Markson here, former HMMA Light heavy weight fighter, after a highly unsuccessful career of getting my arse kicked Mr. Thieatcres has requested my services giving my opinion on the HUGE card Saturday the 20th of October LIVE from the Camden conference center in London.   Every fight on this card could be a main event on a normal show, 4 of these fights are title fights,  and every HMMA champion will be fighting Saturday night.  I can’t wait to see the outcomes will all the champions retain their titles, or will new Heroes be crowned.

MAIN EVENT

Hatsu Matsu (11-3) v   "The Golden Saint" Takeo Okamoto  (10-0)              205 lbs title

The main event of the evening brings to us the UNDISPUTED, UNDFEATED,  the p4p best fighter in HMMA “The Golden Saint” Takeo Okamoto  as he puts his light heavyweight title on the line against his toughest test yet Hatsu Matsu.   Last time we saw Okamoto grace the HMMA cage he was getting his hand raised in a fight to determine the best fighter in HMMA, now he looks to defend his title 3rd time.   The division has been sorting itself out to find a new contender that can put a huge challenge to Okamoto, Matsu won out and is now the #1 contender, in just his second HMMA fight he was able to jump ahead of the competition by taking a fight with what was the man most considered to be the  #1 contender Jesus Rios,  after winning the fight it was announced he would get his shot to be the first to defeat “The Golden Saint”.  With both fighters having 9 wins each by (t)KO we could be instore for two guys looking to do whatever they can to secure there 10th knockout.  Who gets it will Matsu be the first to defeat Okamoto? Or will Okamoto’s reign continue and the legend grow?

Prediction:  The champ has been unstoppable until he loses I wont pick against him, I expect a hard fought decision win against what will turn out to be his toughest challenger yet.

HWP302: Marko vs. Breaker! PREVIEW

Man, you getting friggin lazy CBD! What's with these event names? Sounds like some crummy sales conference for greasy types in leisure suits. Lucky for the fans, it isn't. What we have coming up is a huge night of action headlined by a heavyweight title fight between the ever excellent Marko and Breaker. On top of this there's a card full of awesome and some tips from yours truly, get 'em up ya.

Brian "Crush" Adams vs. "Dynamyte" Donnie Darko

I can't blame Darko for having poor morale. If I were tasked with knocking out Brian Adams and most likely having mums all around the world try to kick me in the balls for trying I'd be pretty depressed too. A little known fact is that the well rounded Adams is not only a famous singer but he can knock people out and submit them equally easily. The problem for him will be, despite the poor morale, Darko is more or less a match for him and is riding a 3 fight win streak which has seen him win OTN awards in each and also a title with CFC. Both men are very explosive, looking to end fights early so it is a tough battle to call but I think "Dynamyte" has been looking to be the better fighter of late so I tip him to win via KO.

"The Lumberjack" Zapp Brannigan vs. Mick Mars

Here's an odd one for you, 31 year old veteran of 59 fights "The Lumberjack" Brannigan is taking on 30 year old veteran of 6 fights Mars. What has Mars been doing all this time? It's a mystery because Brannigan is certainly the better trained fighter and his 26 KOs from 31 wins means he certainly knows how to bring the pain. Mars has shown a preference for submission grappling but with "The Lumberjack" boasting quality wrestling it is difficult to know whether or not Mars has what it takes to put this grappling into effect. With Mars unable to finish Insano, a younger fighter with far inferior wrestling and jitsu, I don't think he is going to be able to stop Brannigan tonight and I expect him to be taking an early nap and wake up with the first professional loss of his career.

"Warpath" James Proudstar vs. Dante Fertit

[CBK] LEGAL HIGHS « TRIPLE 160Q (tokyo)

Has been arround Tycoon land for quite a bit now and is still striving for the best in the years to come. Legal Highs started with only a 158+ Energy Recovery supplement, but in 2010 we switched fast to a 160+ Energy Recovery with a lot of help from our Alliance mates at Cold Blooded Killers [CBK].

When I took over Legal Highs in the 4th quarter of 2011 I closed my successful clothing company (Lion Clothing - London) and aimed for the three Nutrition managers trophies. I immediately started to build a second 160+ supplement (Stamina) and already in January 2012 it had arrived. The next goal was to get a third 160+ supplement (Muscle bulk) by the end of 2012. As sale prices stayed at $300 and my fighters get paid very well I was able to complete a 160+ Muscle bulk already in May.

Currently Legal Highs is saving money to complete the rest of the " 160 series" (Weight loss / Weight gain).

****
Legal Highs is looking for a top 20 fight org to sign a merchandising contract till the 1st of january 2013. Split will be 65% org and 35% supp.

If needed all org fighters may apply to receive sponsor deals. Sponsor contracts will be
