Battle Royale Fighting Championship will be making history on 16th March 2013. “BRFC3: Champions Road” will not only have a whole line up of exciting match ups in store, but two explosive title bouts that will see a welterweight and lightweight champion to be crowned on the night for the very first time!

Main Event: Sentrell “The Barber” Lee (3-0-0) vs “The Machine” Matthew Connor (3-0-0) – 170lbs welterweight title

Both fighters possessing a perfect record of 3 wins and defeated, and having picked up an impressive victory on their BRFC debut (Lee out-grappling Ostermeyer for a unanimous decision win, and Connor giving Michael White a complete beat down and domination) it is no surprised that these two talented fighters would eventually meet to be crowned BRFC’s first welterweight champion. “The Barber” Lee will be looking to use his speed and wrestling to control the fight, while “The Machine” Conn

Still a Champion. Q&A with Tony Brown

Fighter profile of Tony Brown by

Q:How’s your training going? Heard you have been training at Hilo Training center

Tony: Yeah, I changed my gym, because I wanted to train my secondary skills in gym where the classes are not packed full.
Currently I´m working on my takedowns and my wrestling, so I can get the fight to the ground. I have also started lifting more
Weights after I got laughed at when I went to the beach. Those girls laughing at me, are still hounding in my dreams.

I would like to train in a private gym, so I could get just me and 1-3 other guy

GAMMA Gossip Edition#9

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Good evening fans, um sorry, I mean GAMMA fans. Welcome back to more GAMMA Gossip with me, AC Jimbo. First up, I must apologize for being off the air before. Unfortunately I fell ill ahead of filming – which had absolutely nothing to do with celebrating my birthday the night before, and couldn’t make it. It turns out I’m the only damn guy with a key to the studio so they couldn’t run the show without me!

So today we’ll briefly go over the key goings on from GAMMA 289, 290, 291 and 292 (phew!) and a quick look forward to our next two events. Hopefully amongst all that we’ll also have time for an interview with another GAMMA legend in the making.

So we’d best get on with things – GAMMA 289. Wow that seems like a long time ago! However, that doesn’t mean we can’t remember what happened because this had the much anticipated heavyweight title fight between defending champ Fidel Duberry and former champ and world number one, Anton Chigurh. This one didn’t fail to disappoint, although in totally the opposite way to their first fight. This time the dominant fighter came away with the win...and it was Duberry! His powerful strikes caused Chigurh problems right from the start and it was clear he was in trouble. After just three minutes he was looking winded, and it was only a matter of time before he was caught as his hands dropped lower and low

GFC XVI Review

Event Review: GFC XVI
Gladiator Fighting Championship
2013-03-09, Las Vegas, The Parisian
Attendance:5,250, Event Rating:260

The Parisian was filled to capacity on Saturday night and the fighters of GFC did not leave the fans disappointed. Only two of the ten fights on the card went the distance and the crowd was treated to some spectacular finishes. GFC earned their highest event rating in the history of the organization and looked to be very much at home in a larger arena. Let's take a look at how the night unfolded:

The first fight was a light heavyweight scrap between Logan Mitchell (14-9-1) and Alexander Marius (14-11). Mitchell landed some heavy blows early that cut Marius open and prompted him to shoot for a takedown and get the fight to the ground. Marius tried to employ some lay and pray tactics, but the referee was having no part of it and stood the fighters back up. Mitchell scored with a few more punches before taking the fight into the clinch. Neither fighter was really able to gain the upper hand in the clinch, but Mitchell seemed to do just enough to earn the favor of the judges in round one. Mitchell came out sloppy in round two, missing with several strikes and eventually ending up on his back after a Marius takedown. Marius again tried to work a lay and pray strategy, but the referee again stood the fighters up. The fighters exchanged blows from a distance and a stiff right hand opened up Marius even more. With both fighters swinging away wildly, Mitchell clipped Marius

SPFT 100!

Event Preview: SPFT 100!
Steel Penn Fighting Temple
2013-03-16, Hilo, Hula's
Author:

The day has finally arrived. This is it SPFT 100! In honor of this great organization, which has gone from humble beginnings in front of 458 people at Wild Bill’s bar kicked off by Ken Li’s knockout of Maluco Johnson, to just last week having a show in front of a near capacity crowd at the Tokyo Bowl, we will be doing a little something extra in this week’s preview. In addition to previewing the event’s fights, we will also take a look back at the ten most important fights in SPFT history.

The first fight we will look back at takes us all the way back to SPFT 10, between El Guapo and Jin Lieu. As we well know, El Guapo has since this fight gone on to fight the most fights for SPFT out of all of the fighters in the history of the organization, at this point 19, including some of our most notable fights, but he has had only one shot at a title. He entered the fight with a 6-1 record and a head full of steam after having knocked out Royler Bot with a head kick at SPFT 3, but he ran into the brick wall named Jin Lieu. Lieu was impressive through the fight, winning the first four rounds in the eyes of the viewers, before delivering a powerful short right hand which lead to the

CCoR: Glove vs. Keane REVIEW!

Event Review: CCoR - Glove Vs Keane
Evil Empire - Throwdown

What an UNBELIEVEABLE Sunday night we had where we witnessed Dynamite Glove Capture the vacant Welterweight title & the Bantamweight title change! Along with this we featured many more action-packed fights! Get ready for our Glove vs. Keane Post-fight Re-cap!

In our Main event Sunday night Dynamite Glove & Roy Keane went at it for the vacant title in what was a very evenly contested fight! Dynamite Glove played a very conservative strategy in the 1st & played defense in the clinch, frustrating Roy. It wasn’t until the 2nd round where Dynamite began to find his range with punches and kicks until he was able to score the TKO midway through the round capturing the title as I predicted. He played a very intelligent game plan. He was patient & it surely paid off. It’s going to be tough overtaking this new champ!

In our Co-Main Event, Barney Rubble defended his title against challenger Albert & was defeated by Unanimous Decision! Albert showed poise outworking the ch

Interview with CFC Pres. Jimmy Hopkins

Editorial by "Old Irish" Mickey Rafferty

President of 'Conflict Fighting Championship' , Jimmy Hopkins takes a moment of his time for an interview with 'Tycoon Times'

Interviewer: Hello Jimmy, and thank you for taking some time out of your busy schedule for an interview with us!

Jimmy: Not a problem at all, happy to be here.

Interviewer: So you have come a long way in the fight business. Started with 'KaotiX Fight Gear' in Los Angeles, while working part time as a matchmaker and designer for 'Syracuse Fighting Championship' over in New York. Now you have decided to move to Vegas and start your own organization, 'Conflict Fighting Championship'. You seemed comfortable, so why the sudden change?

Jimmy: Looks aren't everything. The clothing business is not for me, man. I could not stand running KaotiX, I jumped into that trying to support fighters, but the business was screwing me left and right...and it didn't even buy me one drink (haha). Nah, i'm just messing with you, but while I was over there working at 'SFC' I loved every minute of it. I worked with some great guys. I loved it, let me tell you something else I love. Vegas... I asbolutely f$%king love Las Vegas. When I was going out t
