The Alien Invasion- the spread of Feral Combat.

What used to be Feral Combat, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Will Dickinson

The Alien Invasion- the spread of Feral Combat.

In late December of last year few paid much heed to a press release from a small promotion, with just 7 events on the London scene, claiming it was about to 'go out and conquer a continent'- indeed the statement was at the time largely buried under the more pressing issues of carrying out tournaments in the 155lb and 205lb divisions, crowning its inaugural champions and holding, what was at the time, the fledgling promotions biggest event to date- Night of Champions. Behind the scenes however Feral Combat's president Mark Hibbert has been committed to his vision of a fight org transcending the regional model to become 'a notable force in European MMA'. In the 4 months since the promotion has held 6 international events and grown to the point where the 2,000 ticket sales of Night of Champions would now be considered at the smaller end of the spectrum. Tycoon Time's Ben Ulrich travelled with Hibbert to St Petersberg to talk developing new markets, world domination and the future.

So how does one go about trying to conquer Europe? “Slowly” Joked Hibbert, “We started off with one show booked

Inside The UPF: Hugo Llorente w/ Carlos Jos Ricci

Fighter profile of Hugo Llorente by Dale Saw

Hello and welcome to another episode of Inside The UPF. I am your host Fred Meyer. Today on the show we have the UPF's youngest and undefeated champion. Ladies and gentlemen put your hands together for the UPF's reigning, defending, undisputed light-heavyweight champion of the world Hugo Llorente.

Freddy: Welcome to the show Mr. Llorente. Or should I just call you champ?

Hugo: Champ sounds good to me, that's what I am and what I will be for a long time to come!

Freddy: Haha. Ok champ. So tell me a little about your past. What age did you start training to fight? What made you decide to get into fighting in the first place?

Hugo: I have only been training for a couple of years now and I am already a champion! I guess it just comes naturally to me. I started training because I used to live in a rough area and got beat up a couple of times by muggers and s*** but now that I am a champion I have moved outta there and got myself a big house and

Kale Kummola"s Time is Now

Fighter profile of Kale Kummola by Aj Nex

When Kale Kummola first entered an MMA gym, everyone could see that there was something special in him. He had an iron will, power in his hands, and a chin that could take just about anything. From day one, people were saying that he could be a champion some day.

Some day just may be May 4th at the Malmi Sportshall. That night, at HERO Fight Night 14, "Kruel" will square off with current HERO lightweight champion, Aoki Aoki. Aoki may be undefeated at 16-0-1, but Kummola has an undefeated record himself, holding notable wins over big names like Georgi Todorov and Funny Jobber.

There is definitely some bad blood going into this matchup. Initially, Aoki refused to fight Kumm

A man in disguise.

Fighter profile of Heath Marcum by Steven Stepp

Heath Marcum formerly known as Alexander or something like that he says. He seems so eager to forget who he was or where he came from. Wrestler born with hammer fists who knows how to work the ground game top or bottom whether it be in side control or full guard defending himself against submissions who has the skill to transition himself to full mount with vicious ground and pound. Heath also an excellent boxer who has astonishing stand up skills with ko power.. What we've learned from his short and dramatic bio is this. "ask me if I give a Fuck?  Get in the cage mother fucker". Those are heaths famous words.. Another troubled fighter.. Alexandre, who felt the need to change is name and move to the land of the free to live out his dreams because of the neglect towards fighters in his native country.. Rumors tell it that he always wanted to be white and decided to hire Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon.

Here we are again MMA and GAMMA fight fans for another edition of GAMMA Gossip! With you as always is your host Capelli King! Lets not waste time and get down to pre-viewing last weeks events.

GAMMA#303 Galt v Hannibal

Daniel Campos proved last weekend why he is such a hot prospect in GAMMA when he got a decision win over GAMMA vet Mark Makers. The fight was also voted as fight of the night with a 100% rating. Both fighters decided they wanted the fight in the clinch and that is where most of the fight was fought. The fight was EXTREMELY close, with Campos only just edging the fight with 27 significant strikes landed towards Mark's 20. In fact Mark won the last round according to judge Daniel Franklin, however it was not enough to get him the win. These 2 will probably demand a rematch some time in the future.

In the main event we witnessed John Galt go up against Hannibal Die Rücksichtslos for the recently vacated 205lbs title. Hannibal was on paper the favorite for this fight and came in with a lot of determination to end the fight early. John proved to have a much harder chin than expected though surviving a barrage of attacks in the first round, a round by which all judges had it in favor of Hannibal. The second round started pretty much the same with John mostly defending. It was a freak right hook which ended the fight though, earning John his first ever 205lbs title win and the KO of the night award!

John will be fighting Denton Thunder in a major super fight to take place in Versus later on in the month

Lightning Fight League - Part 3

Lightning Fight League, Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Chris Dewing

Welcome back to LFL Episode 3: Revenge of the Runaway Managers. There's been a lot of development in the LFL since my last entry, most notably our first show which ran on Saturday, but I'll get into details of that later. Firstly I would like to publicly thank manager and fight org owner Allen Wayne for donating some money to the LFL cause, his contribution allowed me some extra money for signing bonuses which in turn gave me the chance to bring in some bigger names to the LFL roster. I can't thank Allen enough for his generosity and me promoting his org Battle Royale FC in Tokyo seems rather meaningless in comparison.

There have been some positive steps in bringing in new fighters thanks to that extra money, bigger signing bonuses have meant that managers are a bit more willing to let their fighters join a rookie promotion and two very well hyped Welterweighs called Jesse James and Rick Rich have been brought in to headline our second event for the Welterweight title. Their hype and popularity completely out-does the level we had for the first show, I just hope it's enough to balance out the extra money that the show is going to cost to have them on the card. I've brought in a few more 0-0 fighters, I find myself checking through the new fighters list on a nightly basis at the moment in the hope that if I offer a contract before anyone else I'm more likely to get more fighters on board.

LFL 1 ran on Saturday and it would be difficult to call it anything other than a success. Despite a mis-understanding of the Event Helper guide causing me to only sell 154 tickets (at $150 each though) I was able to make a profit of over $10,000 after all

Don Marciano Q&A with Paul Bradley

Fighter profile of Don Marciano by Chris Karter

Immortals Playground founder, former KONFLIKT owner, and Convicted Inc manager Paul Bradley sat down for a Q&A with the #1 ranked Heavyweight and #2 P4P fighter in the world "The Godfather" Don Marciano.

PB: You're coming off another successful title defense with a KOTN performance against EPL "Iron Man" winner Jake Ryan. How does it feel and do you have any idea who your next opponent will be?
DM: It feels great to add another knockout to my resume. My next opponent will be whoever Chuck and the EMPIRE staff offer me.

PB: Do you consider yourself one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time?
DM: MMA? No. I don't consider myself one of the best mixed martial artist, not by a long shot. I'm one of the best strikers on this planet though. I can stand with anybody and I can finish anybody. I've proven that time and time again.

PB: Are there any fighters out there that you would like to get in the cage with?
DM: Fidel Duberry. Kyle Carlton. David Abbott.

PB: Is it true that you recently declined a fight offer against Convicted Inc fighter Dustin Douglas?
DM: My manager shot down the idea but I would gladly fight Dustin. He's a great fighter, a true warrior and champion, and it would be an honor to fight him.

PB: When did you first realize yo

Yukia Nakai - "A Champions Story"

Fighter profile of Yuki Nakai by Drake Bradstone

This is the story of YUKI NAKAI, the man that went from the nearly man of Mixed Martial Arts and the peoples champion to the Kage Ryu Taijitsu Featherweight Champion who is now hated by all.

Nakai turned to MMA when his father, a former Rikugun Taii (Captain) in the Japanese Military, left his mother for a young Chinese girl whilst on tour. This hit Nakai hard and instead of facing this head on he decided to hit the local MMA gym to take out his anger. At 23 years old Yuki was already a purple belt but he he chose to learn other aspects in order to participate in the underground Japanese fight scene. On June 10th whilst walking home from wrestling practice Nakai was approached by John Bravo a local promoter of FCB a small time MMA organisation. John recruited Nakai for a fill in fight the very next night at FCB 2 - The Rising and the rest is history. Nakai defeated Moon Rosoco via Unaminous Decision and signed a contract with FCB going 3-0 before his first title shot at the Featherweight title on August 20th 2011.

Author:

Hey Guys its us again the three most awesome people in the world you know me as Weston were here to lay into the second half of Wilson’s BDAY BASH HMMA 79.  Now Sunday April the 28th is Wilson’s bday and his epic weekend of fights will lead the this finale once again invading the Camden Conference center in London.

Rudy:  Some really great fights including what Wilson tells me is most likely a number one contenders bout for the Light Heavyweight title between Trudeau and Kaka Pheu Pheu.  This is the fight im so excited to see KPP as I like to call him has been really impressive in his young career, he started out in HMMA as a MW and decided to move up to the LHW division he has found success in both divisions and this could be a future two division champion in the making.

Hey Mr. Tcres I wanted to say happy birthday and have you done anything special this week
