TTFC-Cockenschuff Vs Webster

Event Preview: TTFC Cockenschuff Vs Webster
Team Thomas Fight Club
2013-08-17, New York, Empire Indoor Arena
Author:King Scooby

Team Thomas Fight Club will gladly bring you a 10 fight PPV lineup with 2 title fights and an awesome co-main event commencing at Empire Indoor Arena in New York.

The champion defending his belt at 135lbs Chris “The Brick” Mullen (40-14-1) represented by KAISER Nutrition(160) and FireBird will return to the cage after an unfortunate yet exciting loss to Waru Kazuri. Despite being bigger and taller than Kazuri, Mullen, who dominated the first round and left his opponent with a cut, walked right into a quick jab around the two minute mark that although he lasted a while, never recovered from and was finished by way of TKO-Strikes shortly after.

One of NamunamuClothing and GREEN!'s best fighters will be OCTAGONing off with “The Brick” in this match. As “Terrible” Tyrone Tornado CPW (22-7-1) prepares for his first title shot we must acknowledge the hot streak he has been on (5-0) since his knockout of the night of One-Time Eagles Flanker DeSean Jackson (I wont be drafting him this year) . He's also been (8-1) since joining TTFC with his only loss coming by a decision to Ranny Bruvik who I am sure would not turn down the opportunity to battle it out with him again

NGF 70 | Bennet vs Riverboat 2

Event Preview: NGF 70 | Bennet vs Riverboat 2
New Generation Fighters
2013-08-17, St Petersburg, Ice Box
Author:Chad Didion

MAIN CARD

Main Event
Light Heavyweight Title Fight

#1 Brett Riverboat (14-3, 9-3 NGF) v C-Scotty Bennet (17-0, 4-0 NGF)

A monster title fight and rematch between Brazil’s Brett Riverboat and American Scotty Bennet. Brett Riverboat took Scotty Bennet to 4 round in their last fight, the longest fight Bennet has had in his career. In that fight, Riverboat looked good, winning round 1, but Bennet wore him down and ended up KO him out in the 4th round. Riverboat has very good skills, and nasty, nasty elbows. Riverboat will cut up his opponents with any number of strikes, but he still gets hit a little too much and as a result, he’ll also get cut often. He likes to dirty box in the clinch and he is averaging 13.5 clinch punches per fight. He is average with his take down defense, but he is excellent at controlling, improving and getting back to his feet, all the while, avoiding damage. Scotty Bennet has simply been unbelievable so far

Former HMFL champion - Shawn Wexler

Fighter profile of Shawn Wexler by Luka Winner

INTERVIEW WITH SHAWN WEXLER and your host Luka Winner!

Luka Winner:
I was shocked when I saw the result of your last fight! What happened? Did you take the fight seriously? What are your thoughts on the fight?

Shawn Wexler:
Thanks for the interview Luka, I'm sure the HMFL fans are wondering the same thing of what happened in the cage  against Dave Wilson. You see I went into the fight on a hot streak..I felt like I could take on anyone  and beat anyone which allowed me to underestimate Wilson very much so it caused my defeat. I should of taken my opponent more seriously even though I knew he was a different Caliber of fighter than I've fought rec

GAMMA Gossip#31

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Hello fight fans around the world! The GAMMA one man run show goes on and this week was really hectic with loads of ups and downs, so lets get started with what happened!

General News

- Biggest news was the announcement of the Legion of Doom which is Mentor's own little brain child alliance. It started just a week ago and is already the biggest alliance in the history of MMA Tycoon with 67 members and counting. Nothing in this game has ever come close to LOD. The alliance already includes the largest selection of small and middle businesses as well as a very very impressive selection of the top 200 p4p managers (10 in total). 3 of the top 20 orgs. Aggressive Damage in Montreal, GAMMA in Vegas and The Syndicate in Sydney. The major part of the group is made up of mostly newer managers though, based in primarily English speaking countries. The alliance already has its own chat room, forums and site up and running, the future is really bright.

- Next was the expansion of the "Global Elite Group" of organizations to include the 2 new LOD organization of Aggressive Damage and The Syndicate. They join up with GAMMA, TTFC and Versus to make

fuRIOus Fighting"s Office Grand Opening

NY Fight Nights, Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Rodrigo Oliveira

Last week, in the sunny and beautiful Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a number of MMA media members gathered at the Copacabana beach front to cover the grand opening of fuRIOus Fighting's headquarters.

The two-story building will be home to the upstart organization, managed and owned by Johnny Canuck and Rodrigo Oliveira, who succesfully teamed up to run Vigor Fighting, one of the top orgs in Amsterdam. Some of the fighters managed by both executives also attended the event and sparred a couple of rounds in a set-up octagon. The duo also answered a couple of questions in a press conference:

Q: Why choose Rio as the base for a new organization?
Johnny Canuck: Well, Brazil is the hotbed of MMA and has a strong fighting culture. It's always flocking with new talent, and Rodrigo is Brazilian, so he knows his way around here too (laughs). He will be handling the marketing work, while i'll take care of contracts and matchmaking.

Q: What will make fuRIOus stand out from other organizations?
Rodrigo Oliveira: We're always willing to mix things up and make everyone's stay as fun as possible. If you guys check our work at Vigor Fighting, you'll see that we always had good, fair matchmaking and excellent production value for our shows, with pre and post-fight coverage.
Johnny Canuck: We're also be making this as competitive as possible. Our first

"Enjoying the game like never before"

Editorial by

I'm writing this article just to share how much I am enjoying our game since getting back at it just 3 or 4 weeks ago. I joined MMA tycoon almost 2 years ago and was excited for the first 2 weeks by just simply playing the game with luck.

I just randomly accept contracts and always ask for any sponsorship. I also accept almost all the fights offered to my fighters since I was trying to get more financial source without thinking things that matters to make the winning chances of any fighter big. The result? More losses than winning of course, and losing for we all know sucks.

That's the time I just realized that this game does not really run on pure luck. Sometimes we need a certain strategy to increase the winning percentage in a fight. But since I was just a lazy guy 2 years ago who doesn't want to be more hands on with the game, I just lost my interest and just didn't played it again.

Fast forward to this year, Mike from the MMA tycoon team emailed me regarding of coming back to the game. I was hesistant at first but I thought of giving it another try. Well, my decision to play this game again was right after all.

Getting back in the game after 2 years of lay-off wasn't an easy task since there are new features and changes in the game. Wel

Casteneda"s view"s on: "Is fighting always Violent?"

Editorial by Carlos Castenada

 Interviewer: "Is cage fighting violent?"
"Firstly I think anyone with any knowledge of MMA would agree that violence and cage fighting is not an argument worth discussing within the MMA community."

Interviewer: oh ok. Well, it is rumoured that you used to do streetfighting back in the day..

Carlos: Ha...yeah...(long sigh).....[pause]

Interviewer  (stumped for what to say)

Carlos: (senses hesitation) [cough] I will however say a few words in regards to women...........[long pause] Mmmm he says and especially for to wives of the men who read this boldadash...........what I would do firstly is get the hell off your arse [strong British accent], stop looking at your screens and go and sort your women out!!!......Hmmmm and so a woman wants to take up self-defense or one of you young wippa snappers want to learn to fight I have a few things to say. I have some fighters that I train and have a little knowledge on what it takes to become a great fighter.

Personally,  I think the world would be a better place if everyone practised combat disciplines such as martial arts with ChiQong as well as meditation. Especially women and most definitely potentially dangerous people. Any form of martial arts is inheri
