2012-12-09, Sydney, The Underground - Sydney
Author:

Listen up bums, I just got out of a meeting with Richie Richburn over at Real World Betting. He wanted to talk to me about throwing up betting lines for our cards. Now let me tell you, I was extremely nervous at first seeing as you all know how much I love drinking and they say that drinking and gambling mixing is a bad idea. But what was the worst part of it? I had his sister in my closet! Yes she was alive, but he almost walked in on us. Anyways, after hashing it out with him we both came to an agreement and now you will see the betting lines open up for each of our events from now on. Get in and make some extra cash people as this could be huge for everyone involved!

Now, lets turn our attention to the real matter at hand. KoTC II is set to happen at the Underground here in Sydney and it should be a real hell of a card. We do have 2 returning fighters (Spar Wrestling,Brad Bandridge) who has fought in the Debut Event and it should be interesting to see who can be the first person to win 2 straight with this organization. On to business!

Preliminary Card:

Terry "Shock 'N Awe" Blindside (0-0-0) vs. "Kimbo Slice" Kevin Ferguson (0-0-0)
Light Heavyweight
Should be an interesting fight between two first-time pros. Will be a battle of who gets the fight at their strong points. Ground vs. Clinch

Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva (0-0-0) vs. Akimoto "Nasty" Akira (0-1-0)
Heavyweight
A ground war all the way with Silva looking to submit the wrestler Akira. Who will win out? Place your bets on this one!

"Bandytown" Brad Bandridge (1-0-0) vs. Crazy "Monkey" Jiu Jitsu (0-0-0)
Middleweight
Bandridge is coming into this fight having won at the Debut event by TKO. He won the fight on the feet and will likely look to do the same against Jiu Jitsu

Baby Blue (1-0-0) vs. Lewis "The Brick Layer" McLay (11-15-0)
Bantamweight
This might seem like a mismatch from a lot of perspectives, but if Baby Blue can keep his distance in this fight he can most certainly win by knockout. He just does not want to get on the ground with McLay.

Juba "Africanus" Numidim (2-0-0) vs. RZ "Phantom Specialist" Silva (0-0-0)
Light Heavyweight
Boxer vs. Muay Thai fighter in this one. Should be an entertaining standup war that might have FoTN or KoTN written all over it

Main Card:

Arden Botu (1-1-0) vs. Jeff Brown (1-0-0)
Welterweight
Starting off the main card are two ground fighters but Arden has really shown himself to have quite the clinch game. Can he keep it standing and put Brown out on the mat? We shall just have to wait and see!

Jack Coke (0-0-0) vs. Spar Wrestling (6-3-0)
Welterweight
Wrestling is coming into this fight with tons more experience in the cage than Coke. He is coming off a win just 2 weeks ago in the Debut and will really look to get this on the ground and pull off another victory. The problem he will face is avoiding the shots going in and then the submissions if he does manage to get it to the ground. This is going to be a spectacular fight people! Too hard to call

Papa Jones (2-0-0) vs. Zombo Axe (4-1-0)
Heavyweight
While Papa looks to have the advantage on the ground here, Axe has experience everywhere and will be difficult to finish even on the ground. If he can keep it standing he should be able to pick apart Jones but we shall just have to make our bets and assumptions and wait for this to play out!

Co Main Event:

Leonard "Streetlife" Washington (11-10-0) vs. "Brown Pride" Cain Velasquez (6-2-0)
Light Heavyweight
This is going to be an epic fight. Washington definitely has more experience and is technically better in more areas than Velasquez, but Cain is just one of those up and coming fighters who looks like he wants it more than the guys he fights. He told me in an interview yesterday "I will not quit until my opponent is being lifted onto a stretcher" Should be fun with those kind of words!

Main Event:

Landon "The Wolf" Kaplan (9-7-0) vs. "The Torch" John Tharis (9-6-0)
Heavyweight
Ladies and gentlemen this is your main event! This fight is going to be two tough guys who are skilled in every area of the fight game and want to prove they have what it takes for a title shot! During the interviews with them Kaplan said: "My boxing is just too good. I will catch him on the jaw and it will be a short night for him"...Tough words!! But after I mentioned it to Tharis his only response was: "Look at my record, I have 6 losses yes...but all of them are by decision. He cannot finish me and he does not have the heart to go 5 rounds with me!"
Either way, this is going to be explosive!

Fighters remember to give some props to your sponsors after the fights! It may just help you down the road. As for everything else, get your tickets now as this card has really been pumped in Sydney's streets and they are expecting the gate to sellout.

Cheers
