I just got out of a meeting with your owner only to find out that he was being sued over the name of his company. It seems that he has violated the supreme rights of another organization with the same name (they have like 8 fighters on their roster). So he is being forced to change his name or pay a huge fee. I told him to just send a few of our fighters to make them change their minds about it...but he was in a "nice" mood I suppose so it didn't happen. Anyways, say hello to the new Champions Cage of Rage!

As for the event we just had, it really was a barn burner. Finally had some decisions on this card and we will check everything out and see exactly how it all went down. Onwards ladies!

"Kimbo Slice" Kevin Ferguson (1-0-0) def. Terry "Shock 'n Awe" Blindside (0-1-0)
This fight was simply Ferguson getting him to the ground and finishing him. Good debut fight for him!

"Bigfoot" Antonio Silva (1-0-0) def. Akimoto "Nasty" Akira (0-2-0)
This really was a bad situation for Akira. Silva is a very good grappler and Akira wanted it on the ground. It ended the way any solid BJJ guy would have it...submission.

Brad "Bandytown" Bandrige (2-0-0) def. Crazy "Monkey" Jiu Jitsu (0-1-0)
Bandrige really had this in the bag from the beginning. His wrestling was better than Jiu Jitsu and he was able to keep it on the feet and crush Jiu Jitsu with his boxing to rock him and then finish him on top.

Baby Blue (2-0-0) def. Lewis "The Brick Layer" McLay (11-16-0)
Lewis may have had the advantage on the ground but he had to get it there first. He didn't...and it ended the way any pro boxer would have it. KTFO!

Juba "Africanus" Numidim (3-0-0) def. RZ "Phantom Specialist" Silva (0-1-0)
Our first decision fight. What a battle it was too! Numidim won this fight fairly easily even though it went to decision. It was a massive hail of elbows (55 of 158) that earned him the win. Lucky for Silva he seems to have a decent chin!

Jeff Brown (2-0-0) def. Arden Botu (1-2-0)
It seems Brown likes being on his knees, he loves to  garden and he also loves to work on top of his opponent. Sadly Botu could not use his "good in bed" skills to win this fight. TKO!!!

Spar Wrestling (7-3-0) def. Jack Coke (0-1-0)
We knew that Spar could wrestle...hence the last name! But did you know he could also submit? Granted he submitted a guy who thought a guillotine was an ankle lock!

Papa Jones (3-0-0) def. Zombo Axe (4-2-0)
Battle of the blue belts people! Ends with Jones being the superior wrestler and able to get himself in position to set in a nice arm triangle. Call me crazy but if Papa keeps up this nice streak he could be at the top of his weight class soon!

Leonard "Streetlife" Washington (12-10-0) def. "Brown Pride" Cain Velasquez (6-3-0)
Your co-main event ended with Washington having an even advantage in the wrestling department but a huge advantage in grappling. Velasquez is just not used to dealing with good grapplers and got caught in an arm bar when he had control on top. Look to the future big guy!

Main Event:

Landon "The Wolf" Kaplan (10-7-0) def. "The Torch" John Tharis (9-7-0)
Tharis talked so much trash about not getting finished prior to this fight. He was right, but he also mentioned that Kaplan didn't have what it takes to go 5 full rounds! He was wrong! Kaplan completely dominated Tharis with his superior boxing/dirty boxing. At the end of this fight Tharis looked like he had been jumped in a back alley. Going to take him a while to recover from this one!

Congratulations to everyone involved with this card! We had a sellout here at The Underground and we are looking ahead to the future with bigger events as well. If you won your fights take it with a grain of salt as the competition is going to be tougher and tougher. Keep training hard! If you lost, figure out where you went wrong and fix it! If you don't have what it takes to be a fighter, be an alcoholic! Like me!
