Welp, I've been sick lately, causing me to miss out on reviewing some of these great cards. It's Bad news for me, but good news for you. Because now it's time for another super review, where I'll be looking at the last FOUR cards. Let's get rolling.

BFT 170 - Atsushi vs Bonifacio

Heavyweight - "Demolition Man" Alistar Overeem knocked out Shogun BDown with strikes at 4:19 in round 2.

The fight oepened up and BDown was in a rush to get into the clinch . He swang a little irrationally at first which left room for Overeem to land a great elbow that opens up a cut on BDown. From there, Overeem went full out with an onslaught of elbows. One of which opened up his cut a little more. And another one the rocked him towards the end of the round! Overeem was trying to finish things off, but BDown held on to make it to the second round. The second round started with BDown looking good at the distance. Overeem had no response for him. And the Overeem got a hold of him, and threw him right back up against the cage. From there. Overeem went all out again with his elbows. He landed another one to create a little more blood squirting from Shogun. BDown managed to land a great knee to open up a cut on Overeem. It was hard to tell, however, with with Overeem already covered in Shogun's blood. Overeem didn't like that, so he opened up BDown a little more! Soon after he got an uppercut in there and ended things for Shogun. Thank god I didn't eat during that one. Blood everywehere.

Co-Main - Lightweight - "Pehlwan Monster" Mohammad Ul Haq knocked out Suchart "Fishbowl" Chaowanungkarn with strikes at 3:50 in round 2.

The fight started up in the clinch and Fishbowl was landing those Muy Thai strikes. A sort elbow opened up a cut on Mohammed's face. Fishbowl was doing alright, but Ul Haq pulled guard to bring things to the ground. From there, Fishbowl was landing the ground and pound. Ul Haq created some distance and then took things down with a great takedown. He didn't get to do much, since Suchart got back up quickly. Ul Haq took things down again and was working for a better position, but the round ended before he could really do anything. Fishbowl got taken down again. Ul Haq got to side control and was throwing some strikes down to open up for an arm triangle. Ul Haq managed to get his way to full guard, and from ther it spelt the end for Chaowanungkarn. Nice ground work from Ul Haq.

Main Event - Lightweight Title! - "Kana" Kuroda Atsushi knocked out Victor Bonifacio with strikes at 2:39 in round 2 for his first title defence.

This fight turned ugly pretty quickly. The two of them were throwing leg kicks as if it was the only thing they knew. Bonifacio was throwing down and landing pretty damn well. Atsushi managed to drag things down at the end of the round, but it was only for a few seconds. Atsushi was looking to take things down again in the second, and he sure got it. He landed some good ground and pound between submission attempts. A gigantic elbow landed and that was the end for Bonifacio. Great work from the champ.

BFT 171

Heavyweight - Nathan "The Rage" Cadge knocked out Albert "Brooklyn Vampire" Fish with strikes at 1:57 in round 1.

Nathan Cadge was packing razors in his fists. He was landing those punches pretty welling, cutting Fish open on 3 seperate occasions. While Fish was bloodied up, Cadge landed a nasty hook. Fish's head torqued in a way that I didn't imagine. Needless to say, he was done.

Co-main - Light Heavyweight - Paul Baksteen KO'ed Bob Saddi in round 1 with a punc at 48 seconds in round 1.

Not much to really say about this one. It was all Baksteen. He was landing his punches pretty nicely. A great head shot send Saddi to the canvas, and finished him from there.

Main Event - Heavyweight - Jake the Snake KO'ed Joseph Mageramsky with a punch at 1:14 in round 2.

Snake had opened with a great one-two punches that cut open Mageramsky. Mageramsky landed a nice blow that cut opened Snake up too. That was the only shot that landed for Mageramsky throughout the two rounds. Other than that it was a beat down from Jake the Snake. There is no better work for what happened there than beatdown. 75 strikes landed in favor of Jake the Snake. To Mageramsky's 1. It was just ugly. Unless your name is Jake the Snake. Then it was all too natural.

BFT 172

Middleweight - Lucas Rodriguez knocked out Ben Zanotto with strikes at 3:40 in round 3.

Zanotto started by taking the fight to the clinch, and then the ground. There Zanotto was trying to get things a-working, but got careless and was reversed. Rodriguez found himself on top in mount. Zanotto prevented any serious work and got the ref to stand them up. On the feet, it looked like Rodriguez waas getting the better of the situation. Round two started with Rodriguez getting the better of the two on the feet again. The two of them fought it out on the feet, but Rodriguez was ready for anything the Zanotto brought. The third round saw more of what the second round brought, with a little more clinchwork thrown in. At the distance, Rodriguez sent out a hook that got Zanotto on wobbly knees. Rodriguez threw him up against the cage and ripped him a new one. An uppercut sends Zanotto to dream land.

Co-Main - Lightweight - "The Tiny Bear" Sergei Cosizen Unanimous Decisioned "P" Chris Bacon

This fight was all about "The Tiny Bear." From opening bell to the very end, it was all Cosixen. He outlanded Bacon 64-10. It was out right a one sided land slide. The closest this fight came to ending was from Cosixen in the second. A straight right sent Bacon's head to the clouds. But he was able to endure and keep going. Powere to that guy though; he sure can take a nice amount of damage. He was there the whole time. He just had nothing to offer. Great win by Cosixen though.

Main Event - Light Heavyweight - "Lone Star" Dallas MacMillan knocked out Antoine "A-Train" Wallace with punches at 1:50 in round 1.

Wallace started out by bringing things to the clinch, but that turned out to be a bad thing for him. MacMillian landed every shot flawlessly. A short punch to the head got Wallace thinking. Then an Uppercut had him crumple up against the cage. MacMillian with another destructive KO.

BFT 173

Lightweight - Suchart "Fishbowl" Chaowanungkarn Unanimous Decisioned "Mini" Fenton Meeks

The first round had Meeks clinch things up, and from there the two of them traded back and forth throughout the round. These two just went at it and landed frequently. Fishbowl seemed to have gotten the better of most exchanges in that round, but man was that fast paced. The second round had Meeks go for the clinch again, and the two went right back to work. The two of 'em just went at it, but this time, it was Meeks who had gotten the better of the exchanges. The final round was contested completely at the distance, and man they wanted to win. When the round was over, it was really rough to see who was the winner. The judges gave it to Fishbowl, and nobody was really arguing that.

Co-Main - Middleweight - Gary "Take That" Barlow Submitted "The Tiger" Brick Taylor with a rear naked choke at 4:20 in round 2.

Barlow took the fight to the ground and went straight for some submission attempts, after Taylor had some success on the feet. From there, it was a grapple match. The two of them kept trying to finish each other, with submission attempts for everyone. At the end of the day, Barlow did enough on top to give him the round. The next round saw more of the same; Taylor was better on the feet and Barlow took things down. There were 10 submission attempts between the two of them. They were both pretty close a few times. It had me on the edge of my seat. A rear naked choke from Barlow got locked in and Taylor initially though nothing of it. But Barlow had a good grip on him and sent him to sleep. Nighty-Night.

Main Event - Welterweight - "The Kraken" Jermaine Choake Unanimous Decisioned Akihito "Rikiya" Tatsuhiko Jr.

This fight was mostly contested on the ground. Choake took things down to the ground and managed to maintain control of Tatsuhiko for the entire round. He went for an arm triangle in the midst of it, but it didn't look like it was gunna work. The second round had Tatsuhiko Jr. take things down initially, with Choake very active off of his back, and then Choake getting up and getting a takedown of his own. The final round saw more of the active ground game of Choake, who ended up taking the decision for this one. Not the most breath taking fight, but none the less a good outing for Choake.
