CKZ 4: Baratheon vs. Diaz III PREVIEW

This Saturday, we feature CKZ 4: Baratheon vs. Diaz III! Our main event features an ongoing rivalry between welterweights, Stannis Baratheon & Nick Diaz! These two do NOT like each other & look forward to finally ending their feud! Also on the card, lightweights’ Brett Jackson & Inigo Guerra do battle in what’s sure to be an excellent fight!

This event takes place February 23, at The Underground Arena in Montreal, Quebec, Canada! Get your tickets before they sell out!

Welterweight Bout Main Event – “The Red God” Stannis Baratheon (6-1) vs. Nick Diaz (5-5)

In our main event, Stannis Baratheon & Nick Diaz do battle for the 3rd time. Stannis, who some say is the #1 fighter in the org. boasts an impressive 6-1 record. He’s already trumped Nick Diaz twice but has told reporters he has no problem putting a beat down on Nick again. He doesn’t appreciate Nick’s attitude & wants to teach him a lesson on respect. Diaz has expressed in the past that he dislikes fighters such as Stannis, who “just lay n pray” for the victory. Diaz has been working hard on his wrestling & dares Stannis to stand with him for even a second.” I bet he’ll shoot right from the bell. I’m looking to knock him off his pedestal Saturday night.” Diaz stated.

My Prediction: Stannis has mastered his style & knows how to beat Diaz. Once again, Diaz will fight emotionally & get taken down repeatedly & get finished. Stannis will win via 2nd round TKO.

Lightweight Bout Co-Main Event – Brett “Action” Jackson (2-4) vs. Inigo “Fogo” Guerra (3-1-1)

The two men involved in our Co-Main Event Saturday, Brett Jackson & Inigo Guerro are both excited about this matchup. Brett holds an unimpressive 2-4 record losing 2 of his last 3 fights. For sure he’s determined to rack up a few wins to position himself as a contender in his division. His opponent, Inigo is also looking to put himself on the win column. He’s furious over his last fight where he drew with a man he was certain he had defeated. And no man wants to be called equal to another. Folks, don’t be fooled by their records, these two have something to prove.

My Prediction: Inigo Guerra will come out aggressive & control the fight anywhere it goes. He can do everything Brett can do but better. I expect Inigo to finish by Submission.

Welterweight Bout – “Judges Love” Boston Dean (25-11-1) vs. Elijah Hoffman (5-3)

Experience in this welterweight contest surely goes to Dean with close to 40 fights! He takes on Elijah Hoffman who doesn’t have the experience but certainly has the skills. This match is a tossup in my opinion. Boston Dean is a well-rounded fighter who mixes in solid boxing with powerful takedowns. He’s also a big welterweight. Just from this alone, most would see this as a mismatch. In Elijah, you’ve got a much younger fighter who is hungry to establish his name amongst the elite. Elijah isn’t phased by anything Boston Dean has to offer. In fact, He was confident in saying he would score a 1st round knockout! This one is too close to call. We’ll just have to wait & see how it goes down the 23rd.

My Prediction: I love to root for the underdog but I can’t do it this time. Boston Dean has experience & the size edge advantage on Elijah Hoffman. Not only that, he’s faced many opponents similar to Hoffman & has won. A Decision win for “Judges Love”.

Welterweight Bout - Matt Lauzon (1-0) vs. Alex Louvierre (2-2)

Prediction: Matt via TKO

Featherweight Bout - Reggie “The Knockout” Noble (1-5) vs. “Nakedfox23” Samuel Victor (0-4)

Prediction: Reggie via TKO

Lightweight Bout - Trejo “Quickfast” Ricardo (0-1) vs. “Thunder” Tyson Vega (0-1)

Prediction: Tyson via Submission

Middleweight Bout - Tien Jaa (4-2) vs. Santos Ryan (0-1)

Prediction: Tien via. TKO

Middleweight Bout - “The Demolition Man” David Onassis (2-1) vs. Ali Carter (2-2)

Prediction: “The Demolition Man” via TKO

Light-Heavyweight Bout - Tony Chopper (6-7) vs. Joseph “Judge” Dredd (0-0)

Prediction: Tony Chopper via Decision

Middleweight Bout – Tom “Volan-de-Mort” Redl (1-2) vs. Young Squad (1-1)

Prediction: Young via TKO

We’ll see YOU Saturday Night!
