Nick "Bender" Ellenberger vs "The Silver Stomper" Jakob Silfversberg
Ellenberger enters the ring hungry for a win after back-to-back losses. Those losses were however to reigning champion Dmitriy Bobtsov and shocking KO loss to Blu Pisa. Ellenberger knows he is still close to another shot at the title and a win here tonight would go a long way! Ellenberger has eight of his eleven wins via KO! His crisp boxing and collegiate champion wrestling are his bread and butter. Jakob Silfversberg also enters tonight on a two-fight skid! Jakob also had his lights turned out by the leaning tower of Blu, and fought a hard decision against Matt Sabre. Tapout or Passout welcomes "Lotus" Khan to his debut here tonight! Khan sports a solid 8-5 record with a strong resume highlighted with strong striking and slick BJJ! His well-rounded game makes his formidable for any opponent! MacManus plans to spoil Khan's debut! Coming off a convincing win MacManus brings his masterful Muay Thai and top tier Brown Belt BJJ! Dux enters the red corner tonight who had a three-fight winning streak ended with a title challenge against the Mick! Turris enters tonight having also suffered a recent loss at the hands of the Champ and fellow challenger Connor MacManus! "Sweetness" enters the octagon tonight as a winner of two of his past three under the ToP lights and sporting an 8-1 record overall with seven of those victories coming via KO! ToP was forced to try and take blood from Phillips before the match, because his skill-set is so Terminator-crazy that we're pretty sure Skynet called before his fight to wish his good luck, and to keep hunting for "John Connor". Jimmy James is pretty sure that isn't his nickname, but knows he has a fight on his hands here tonight! "Jam Jam" has won his last five fight and eight of nine overall! Jimmy operates best on the ground so we will see if he can implement his gameplan here tonight! The Bell Rings!!! Phillips comes out feeling the pace as the aggressor! James is keeping his distance and circling his foe! Phillips wades in and lands some punches but James sees his window of oppourtunity and takes this fight down! James working feverishly to improve his position and pressing submission attempts but Phillips defends! Phillips is holding his own on the ground and the ref respects the stalemate only so long and Stands them up! Phillips leans in and clinches up! "Sweetness" is finding a very effective dirty boxing game here! Randy Couture is ringside standing and applauding!
