Kira Miyata on making his pro debut

Fighter profile of Kira Miyata by Alika Webb

 Kira "Gaijin" Miyata was born in Japan, but his parents came from America. 

Therefore the Japanese always considered him a foreigner/gaijin.  After years of bullying by local yankees (Japanese delinquents)  he starting training in Judo. After winning a few streetfights he decided he was ready to fight professionely.   Kira "Gaijin" Miyata will soon fight a kickboxer in a  classic striker Vs grappler match.    Q: Do you think you're ready for your pro MMA debut? Kira: Hell no BAKA (Japanese for idiot)! I still got lots to learn, I know  some Judo but my standup game's still lacking.   Q: Why did you decide to move to London? Kira: I just needed a change of scenery.  I got lots of good memories from my time in Nippon,  but some pretty bad ones too, y'know what I'm saying?!   Q: Is your family still in Japan? Kira: yeah they're staying in Japan.   Q: Don't you miss your family? Kira: We skype.   Q: What do ... Kira: Let's stop here, now you're just wastin my time, I needs to train!
