Ascension Back In Black Preview

Editorial by Don Frye

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Dinooo here and what a treat we have in store for you tonight. Ascension is once against in the LA Memorial Colossuseum, a two hour long PPV special. We have the shock trooper Royce SilvA back once again here this time to face off against Champion Uncomfortable Positions in a non title 5 round superfight. Also on the card hall of famer Blokada Leningrada the lightweight champion takes on former Carnage Champion Brian Mont Alvernne. Its a match that i would consider a fight of the night contender but with all the epic fights on this card it should be a real treat for the viewers. So what you waiting for get yourself down and get a ticket or enjoy from the comfort of your own home on PPV as Ascension brings to you, Ascension 55 : Back In Black.

Royce SilvA v Uncomfortable Positions Welterweight Superfight

Tonights main event as said is SilvA, the former number one welterweight in the world is looking to get himself back ontop of the mountain and has came back to Ascension to take on the champion Positions. Which could see one of these two fighters very well climb upto the top of the welterweight rankings. Both fighters are very well rounded but love the ground game. Both are BJJ Blackbelts and have placed number one in the ADCC, aswell as competing in the Olympics for respective countrys and finishing in the Silver medal position. In MMA they are right up at the top of the welterweight food chain, it was only a matter of time until these two titans of the Tycoon world faced off and finally on Saturday they will.

Blokada Leningrada v Brian Mont Alvernne Lightweight Title Fight

Champion Leningrada just came off his biggest win to date in a back and forth war which in my opinion was a fight of the year candidate. His preformances have skyrocketed him up the lightweight ladder and is without doubt one of the best in the business. Tonight he is up against Alvernne, a well respected lightweight from the same camp of the P4P king Tonal. He is out to make a name for himself and there is none bigger than capturing the Lightweight title of the number one org in the Tycoon world. Leningrada is a stand up fighter, he uses his wrestling well to keep the fight on the feet and looks to pepper you with big shots until you fall. His cardio is second to none having been the distance of five rounds many times in the past and really pushes the tempo in all his fights. Alvernne is more well rounded than Leningrada, his ground game is one of the best we have here and his stand up is just as good. He shows no preference to where the fight takes place, he is just as likely to knock you out standing as he is to submit you which makes him a highly dangerous fighter to plan for. Will Leningrada prove again that he is one of the worlds best or will Alvernne climb the mountain and win the Ascension belt, in the process proving he is one of the best lightweights on the planet.

Joe Rogan v Barec Volevoi Openweight ID Limit Division Fight

Rogan is coming off the back of two tough defeats and wants to get himself back into the title picture again in the Openweight division. Volevoi has worked his way up to get himself into the picture for a shot at Cullen and tonight he takes on the toughest challange he has ever had in Rogan. Its a striker vs wrestler match up, both fighters know whats at stake and they will both want to come away with a big win tonight and push themselfs up there for a title shot.

Dick Offenhard v Lorenzo Von Matterhorn Light Heavyweight Fight

Two of the best managers in the game once again lock horns as Jbomb's Offenhard takes on Big Boss's Matterhorn in a fight that could shake up the 205 division. Both fighters have been through the wars in there careers and are looking to make a run to the top and get a shot at the gold. Offenhard lost two tough fights in the past against the former and the current champions and is eager to get a shot at them again, a big win here tonight could see him climb the ladder again and get a shot at one of them. Matterhorn came out of the millionaires tourney and signed with us here at Ascensionw winning his debut fight in very impressive fashion with a second round knockout of Shears and is hoping to start climbing the ladder to the top.

The rest of the card looks like this

Alistair Overeem v Puff Masta Fluff
Ahiga Otaktay v Kobe Magellan
    Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch v Brandon Jackson
Gaia Ky v Ninja Berto
Napoleon Bonaparte v Jackson Teller
Danilo Caparas v Gold Ryan
