New MMA Mecca Gym

Let'Er Buck ~ FIght Team (13 coaches come enjoy), Gym, Los Angeles
Company profile by Ceasar Tomson

I’ve been to many gyms throughout MMA country, from the beginner Cozad gyms to the elite gyms like Omega in LA, Hero in Las Vegas, and Hades in Rio. All of these gyms are great, and a good place to go to train in this beautiful art we call MMA. There was one gym that I visited the other day while checking out the MMA scene in L.A. that took me by surprise: Let’Er Buck Fight Club. This gym was straight out of a Roman Gladiator Ludus. You had men pushing themselves and their training partners to be the best. I sat by the cage and saw two super heavy weights sparring. If these two men were going 70%, then I’d hate to see what 100% is! I sat down and talked with them for a moment.

Mathew George, how is it training at this gym, and has it improved your fighting?
"It’s the greatest experience of my life. I haven’t been doing this long but I already had my first title fight and I blew it, so I came to this gym and the coaches taught me how to center myself not try to be the best at everything, but to build on the foundation that I already have. These are some great coaches we have here”.

Next I talked with Mathew Georges sparring partner, Keith Whipple.

Now, Mr. Whipple, how is Let’Er Buck fight club working for you?
“Its like a big family, we stand here and fight to the death in the sparring cage, then after go for a drink and talk over what we learned. The coaches are just as much a friend as they are a teacher”.

Do you find that to be a better learning environment?
“Oh totally. I suffered a decision loss that was my fault; If I would have just pulled the trigger and let my hands fly I would have won, and my coaches told me I would do better next time. They didn’t tear me down”.

Here are two fighters hopefully on their way to fame and glory, who are just happy to be a part of this MMA family. Next I spoke to head coach Giovanni Carol.

Coach Carrol, how is this gym suited to your style of teaching?
“The owner, Ceasar Tomson, has brought in a great bunch of coaches all working for the same goal: to make champions. We have fighters who have fought for titles, and more that will be making their title fight debuts soon”.

Is that what you looking for? Titles?
“No, we have beginners, and we have some future or soon-to-be champions. We cater to everyone. We have some brawlers here that don’t want titles, they just want to fight. So, we try to help everyone to be the best they can be, and to find and enjoy that special thing they're looking for”.

There you have it. A coach that is here to help any fighter to be their best. Fighters who are looking for family and seem to have found it. In my humble opinion the small MMA family here will be a force to be reckoned with for a long time. Stay tuned, 'cause these fighters are superstars on the rise! Fighters from all over the globe will consider this the MECCA of MMA
