This Saturday 1st June~ TGC Title

TGC 8 Amsterdam

Carlos

Hi everyone, I’m Carlos Castenada and I’m here first with Lucifrous Satanous aka “The Beast”. Do I say it like that?

Satanous ID: (210779) “Yeh, but I usually say it like Lucifrous ‘The Beast’ Satanous.

Carlos Oh. First I wanna echo the questions that have been running around a lot of people’s minds, cos I know you wanna tell me about all this trash talk on TGC. So I mean how does it feel? You’re on a winning streak. You getting interviews. You know. Are you at the top of your game, or what?  I can tell you’re dying to tell me, what’s this trash talk on TGC?

Satanous: [says] Damn right

Carlos  You wanna set some people straight? Grinning.

Satanous: [Bursting into a Sonnen] ‘The Beast vs the Juggernaut’....sounds like something from ‘The Clash of the Titans’...and I'm sure ‘Jeffrey’ would like it to be just like that. Two big monsters ploughing away at each other, with mighty blows. I've been training to make sure it's nothing like that, though. Like most of my fights, this is going to be more like ‘The Waterboy’ meets ‘Little Bear GoesTo Sleep’. I bellow something about somebody's mother, spear him with a flying tackle, and put him to bed like a sweet mother hen.

Carlos You wanna tell us how you’ve been training differently to prepare for your fight against Jeff Carlos and what kind of ways you plan to deal with his superior stand up game?

Satanous: I'm not impressed with any aspect of his game, least of all his stand-up. I've seen footage of his amateur fights- it looked like a trout flopping on the dock. Come to think of it, his ground game looks like that too!

Carlos: Is there any part of Quimby’s game you are concerned about?

Satanous: Concerns? Yeah I've got some. I'm a little worried that I won't be able to fit my arms around his big belly for the takedown. I think there's been a little too much of the "Jug" in Juggernaut for Jeffrey. I've heard from his camp that he just started strength and conditioning training for the first time less than three months ago....this is a goddamn title fight, have some self respect. If Magnus can have me working in the gym every day for the past 6 mos, there must be a way his manager can inspire him to put a chip clip on the snacks and hop on the treadmill.

Carlos:: Does Jeff  “The Juggernaut” Quimby 's size concern you?

Satanous: Other than the aforementioned, size doesn't bother me.

Carlos: interrupts “What? Have you seen the size of that guy?”

Satanous: Yeh. His rolls of neck-fat won't defend against a choke, trust me.
I wouldn't say any victory is easy, you know what I'm saying? That kind of thinking turns you into chubby Jeffrey, riding high off 1 win. I trust my training camp, my conditioning, and my game plan. I'm excited for my first few title defences, hopefully Wasyl can find some talent in the division that isn't still trying to learn the ropes of MMA.

Carlos:  Would you mind telling us a little bit about home and what Satanous does day to day. How are you feeling with your fitness?

Satanous: Feeling good overall, there's never enough time to train it seems like. I love to fight but there are so many people vying for the belt that there's never really much time to train how we'd like to. It's pretty clear that every fight you're going to see the best Luci you've ever seen, my fights get more exciting every time. It's hard to top back to back 1st round RNCs, but we've got some good tricks up our sleeves, so expect something amazing!

Carlos: I will, I’ve got a bet on. [ he smiles]

Satanous: on me I hope, [we both laugh heartely and then Satanous suddenly cuts his laugh like a lightswitch].......... [silence]

[long pause]

Satanous: Continues…..so, not much to say about the home life, I live alone and blow off some steam every so often, Amsterdam's the best town for that. Love the electronic music scene in Amsterdam.
In terms of setting some people straight, I've been looking to fight a real fighter who has actually had some fights before (looking at lil' Jeffrey) but I think Jeffrey's manager worked out some kind of deal with ‘Wasyl daGod’, (owner of TGC).  He owns a gym in Amsterdam, I don't get involved with all that shit but something's going on when a 1-0 bypasses higher ranked fighters with better records and more of a right. After I set Jeffrey to a solid 5 record with this defeat, he'll be even more clearly out of the running and hopefully, Wasyl will let me put down the number one contender, Bestia.

Carlos: Yeh, I know TGC very well. I hear it is the best ORG in The Dam for young fighters. Actually I happen to know Wasyl daGod. He’s a really cool dude. Look it’s been great. Thanks for giving us your time. Good luck dude!

Smack~Reply from Jeff Quimby:

Interview with Jeff  "The Juggernaut" Quimby, talks about his coming fight with Lucifrous "The Beast" Satanous to take the ‘unclaimed’ Heavyweight Belt:

Carlos: We’re here with Jeff ‘The Juggernaut’ Quimby. It’s great to meet you man. There have been rumours of speculation to say that you are taking off more than you can chew. We know Satanous has a complete ground game and has defended his title 4 fights running. You on the other hand, are a dark horse and have quite an arsenal of weaponry standing. Assuming you can keep this from going to the mat, are you going for a quick knock-out or will you be playing a more defensive approach? One just wonders how you  prepare mentally for this kind of fight?.... Firstly, do you have anything to say about Satanous’s comments and all this trash talk? [Smiling]

Quimby ID: (210904) "Oh that? Yeh, I heard what he said [nodding]. Those are big words coming from someone who's stand-up game is rated as useless as his trash talk. He talks big words because he knows come June 1st, I will wipe that stupid grin off his face once and for all. He may have beat some amateur fighters to win that title, which right now is worth about as much as it would be if it came out of a cracker jack box, he has yet to fight true competition and the 1st June will eventually come. Surely as we know it will and he will try to lay on me for three rounds to win a decision and when he does, he won't get as far as halfway through the takedown attempt before I drop him unconscious on the mat.

Carlos:  how have you been training differently to prepare for your fight against Jeff Quimby and what ways do you plan to deal with his stand up?

Quimby: He talks about my stand-up game but we all know he would never dare to stand up with me, We have one opponent in common and that is Coolio Paradise, Mr. Satan won a three round lay and pray decision, I knocked him out cold in the first round... go figure. His bark is much bigger than his bite and come June 1st, I will become the new TGC Heavyweight Champion and then maybe I will give  Mr. Satan a job as my ‘Water Boy’.
As far as your questions go, I have been training for this fight just like any other, Mr. Satan is nothing special and we will see that come June 1st.
Deal with his stand up game? What stand up game? He won't dare stand up with me, he is going to try a million take downs and when he gets tired and realises it's his strength and conditioning that needs the work, then I am going to knock him on his sorry trash talking ass.

Carlos: Is there anything you are particularly concerned about coming into this swing the fight in your favour using your distinct size difference?

Quimby: The only thing I am concerned about is having to deal with him trying to get on top of me every five seconds but I still believe I will knock him out in the first round.
My size will be an advantage, just like Roy Nelson.
He hasn't truly defended his title against any real competition, we will see what Mr. Satan is made of come June 1st, that's all I got to say, I do my talking in the cage.

Carlos: Lol, thank you. It’s been great Jeff. So there it is folks. Why not make a friendly bet? Check the card for Saturday because there are 4 fights that night and there will be at least 2 fights to really look forward to like Borgen Stein vs mr Benn. Also there’s two boxers both with wrestling John Doe v Eugenio Caporale. That could be a fantastic fight. Then Ivan Emelianenko v Fifty Tyson. Don’t forget! After this Saturday, there’s the TGC 9 the following Saturday on the 8th June.

“We all hope to see you there at TGC 8 this Saturday 1st June.”
