Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie and Mustafa Mannibal. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

 

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of St Petersburg, Royce Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 wins, 1 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mustafa Mannibal!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.


The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Mannibal misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.
Mannibal closes the distance looking to clinch

and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control.
Mannibal seems a little lost for a moment, as Gracie dominates the positioning.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mannibal tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mannibal tries to control but Gracie manages to take his back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Gracie controlling the positon.

Gracie has got one arm under Mannibal's chin. This could be trouble... Mannibal trying to control the other hand but Gracie gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mannibal has tapped out! The fight is over!
