Ok, so this is my first event in charge of the Org and I'm happy to say that we have a full card of high quality fights and I'm very hopeful this will be a resounding success.  Obviously I'm new to this and there's still some teething problems as I find my feet and fill up the roster with active fighters so that I'm able to keep you all fighting regularly.  Please don't hesitate to send me feedback on how I'm running things if you have suggestions or complaints and if you have specific requests over how often you'd like to fight then fill out the desired inactivity section on your contracts page.

In other news I've stripped the belt from the long time inactive champion of the 205 division and have offered a title decider to the two guys at the top of the division.

Full list of fights

Dan Johnson (2-2) Vs Big Dawg (0-3)

Macky Jawara (2-0) Vs Tim Borowski (0-1)

Fifty Tyson (2-3) Vs Tatenda Ihejirika (1-1)

Marcin Vitomin (2-1) Vs Brian Baggs (0-0)

Fernando Weissenberg (3-2) Vs Duey Doubleg (2-2)

Jose Mera (2-2) Vs Felipe Caotico (2-2)

Fakhri "Mutant" El Hashem (2-3) Vs Beef "The Cannon" Mode (2-1)

The Mutant is coming off a tough loss to the reigning Champ and will be looking to re-establish himself in the division against AMS debutant Mode.  Easier said than done as the NCAA division 1 wrestling standout has made an impressive start to his career and demonstrated vicious ground and pound in his two stoppage victories.  But he'll have to be careful shooting in on the Mutant who'll be bringing superior boxing into the fight and proven KO power as both of his victories have with first round knockouts.  Don't expect this one to go the distance as the Cannon tries to keep this one off the feet and on the mat where he does his best work.

Andrea Carnevale (3-3) Vs Jon "Old School" Nix (4-3)

Both of these fighters are coming off of victories with Carnevale looking to make it three in a row and put himself back in the title picture.  But don't be sleeping on Old School as he boasts one of the nastier clinch games in the division so if he can close the distance things could get ugly for Carnevale fast.  No clear favourite here but expect a stand up war as neither man is likely to take this to the floor.

George "Chopper" Rohan (4-0) Vs Christian M Bami (1-0)

In the first of our title match ups two men put their undefeated records on the line.  With just one fight to his name a title fight might seem premeture for M Bami, but when that one win is a devastating knock out of the former champion things start to make more sense.  M Bami is a beast at 155 and looks to use his excellent wrestling to allow his fearsome hands to do the work.  Rohan has shown himself to be cagey and versatile so far without being outstanding in any particular area, but expect him to have the edge in BJJ if this thing hits the floor.  M Bami might well be too big and too strong for the champion in the early stages but if it does go into the Championship rounds then the weight cut might become a factor.

Taj Yaya (5-0) Vs Hardcore "Bader" Junior (2-0)

In his four fight streak of title victories Yaya has proven him to be one of AMS's very best Champions and a real crowd pleaser, boasting nothing but finishes.  But across the cage from him is a real talent; a state wrestling champion with terrifying ground and pound and solid boxing, Bader is the real deal and probably the biggest test of Yaya's title to date.  However, if he's going to impose his will and get close enough to land a takedown then that means closing the distance and putting himself in range of one some of the most fearsome elbows in the sport.  Yaya's last three victories are all by way of Doctors Stoppage, most of which served to spare his opponents from being further brutalised, so make no mistake, if Yaya can establish the clinch then expect things to get bloody, but how long he can hold on to that against such a strong wrestler remains to be seen.
