 Darius "D-Bo" Badolato (16-5-0) RCS (14-4-0)

In the eyes of many, he will always be an underdog. And he will always do his best to give them a shock. One of the two men who is holding the flag of the grapplers in RCS, and he is given the chance to prove the critics wrong! Meet the warrior who has all the quality of an underdog, DARIUS BADOLATO!

THE INTERVIEW:

Me: Hello Mr. Underdog! Congratulations for that great win of yours! Are you shocked you win that fight?

Badolato: Shocked? Definitelly not. I'm happy for my performance. This was one, bloody fight and I came out on top. You realize it was his first lost by decision?  That's also increasng my faith in me as I could stand 15 minutes with one of the best heavyweights and win that in eyes of judges.

Me: Can you share to us your gameplan?

Badolato: I wanted to show my underrated striking skills on begin... at least. It last longer and I get more experience by that. Of course as You saw I wanted to get him to the ground and finish but he's got great defensive skills and I couldn't do as much as I wanted.

Me: You were cut during the fight does it affect you?

Badolato: I lost some blood, he also had problem with that... I'm waking up when my eyes are covered in blood, so...;-) Blood makes fights.

Me: Man, you are in the finals! Hows the feeling of it?

Badolato: I wanted a place in tournament....I wanted some extra money...I wanted some challenge. It's great I'm in a final.  It makes my confidence higher by fighting in Open division. Even that in future I would prefer to fight in my weight division.

Me; Let us now talk about your opponent in the finals, Huma Krynn, any thought about him?

Badolato: great fighter with great manager behind him. I fought Stotch two times, similar style fighter at first look. He is also managed by this manager. It will be interesting.

Me: Are you confident of defeating him?

Badolato: It's a sport, anything could happen...I defeat heavyweight, now I have another fighting me...and another striker. It's hard nowadays for grapplers but I'll give everything I got to win this fight.

Me: Any words for him?

Badolato: Another classical strikes vs grappler matchup, this time for bigger prize than in quarter or semifinal. Any word? I'm thinking only about fighting him, don't really want to talk...I'm too focused on healing woundes and be prepared on fight day. I know Huma is more injured than me after his fight. Maybe it will give me some handicap ;-)

Me: Your final message to the RCS universe!

Badolato: I hope everyone who watches this tournament is satisfied. Final will be a cherry on a pie. Don't miss it. Cheer for grappling Mates!

"Dragon" Huma Krynn (20-7-0) RCS (11-3-0)

Yes, he is the man who beat the Judge. Yes, just like his opponent, he was also the underdog at that fight. and yes, just like his opponent, he did an upset. He will be the man to represent the Strikers with this classic, Striker VS Grappler war!

THE INTERVIEW:

Me: Are you shock that you defeated Rizzo Jr?

Krynn: I'm definitely not shocked, but it is a little bitter sweet because he's a close friend.  During a fight and while preparing for it you really can't focus on things like that though.

Me: Can you share to us your gameplan for that fight.

Krynn: My gameplan was really in bulking up and tweaking some of my strategy a little bit.

Me: What do you think is the biggest factor in the fight?

Krynn: I think the biggest factor was just how motivated I was to win this fight!

Me: So whats the feeling of fighting for the championship even though you are only a LightHeavyweight?

Krynn: never for a second doubted my skill and I'm right where I expected to be.  I'm very grateful for this opportunity and I am determined to be as prepared as humanly possible.

Me: Your opponent for the championship is Badolato, who also did an upset, any thought about him?

Krynn: I go into every fight with respect for my opponent.  That is why I'm successful.

Me: Are you confident of defeating him?

Krynn: Yes, I'm very confident.  He is fighting is fighting a man who outweighs him by over 40 pounds.  I'm a better wrestler than his last opponent who took him the distance.  If I can keep this fight on the feet than it will be over pretty quick.  If he manages consistent takedowns then he has a chance, but still not a huge one.

Me: Any message you want to give to Badolato?

Krynn: Yes, I wish him luck, but this championship and the money that comes with it will be mine.  Count on it.

Me: Any message for the RCS world?

Krynn: For those of you who believed in me I'm thankful for the support!  RCS is one of the absolute best org's in the world!  Count on this fight being a very good one!

THIS WILL BE ADDED TO THE VERY LONG LIST OF CLASSIC STRIKER VS GRAPPLER FIGHT! TWO MEN WHO HAS GREAT MANAGERS BEHIND. I AM 50:50 ON THIS FIGHT BUT I AM SURE OF 1 THING, THIS FIGHT IS NOT DESTINED TO GO TO DISTANCE.
