Jared Hart and Renato Pilav Bring us our last Light Heavyweight fight, Jared “Flying Hawaiian” Hart has a record of 1-2-0 Since he has signed with SPFT he has had 2 losses and both in the first round so he will be looking to turn things around in this event with his awesome stand-up skills and very quick hands, Renato “Rensi” Pilav is looking for his first victory within the SPFT leagues as well, with the advantage of having natural KO power Rensi just might get it tonight but as his skills and style are very similar to the Flying Hawaiian this will be a very hard fight to call.

Our penultimate fight comes in the form of another Light Heavyweight between Brick “Smasha” Fist and Chuck Liddell, Smasha  with a record of 9-5-0 was doing fantastic with only 2 losses until back in November when he lost a title fight to Boris Ivanovic and has had a losing streak since, if he doesn’t use his awesome stand-up skills to finish this streak of losses then his morale with take a real thumping, we all know he is very strong and has a chance against Liddell, Chuck has a record of 11-15-0 is at an all-time low with his morale right now and really needs to keep his head in the game, he has come from an org called Isle of Man so is looking to impress SPFT in his first fight for them, although Liddell is better on the ground he still has a very good punch and is very strong so will be a force to be reckoned with in this fight, he will be going all out.

Fighting in our first Light Heavyweight is Dan Kaeo and Bang McGee, Kaeo has a record 12-13-0, 7 losses and 2 wins have been with SPFT he lost his last fight just 2 weeks ago against Ddd and his last win for the org was back in December against Nervoso so let’s see if he can turn things around and have a better 2012 than 2011 with his Exceptional stand-up, lethal high kicks and quickness. Bang McGee is very confident about this fight with his record of 16-10-0, after he recent massive losing streak with Blitz he turned things around in a QFC fight against Rogers knocking him out in just 45 seconds where he landed all 9 of his strikes and didn’t even use his best asset, his kness which Kaeo needs to avoid at all costs.

Our last Lightweight fight of the night is Sammy “Madness” Miller v Paolo “Il Toro”  Bonacelli, Both fighters are very evenly matched, in fact the only real differences are that Madness has more experience but Il Toro has better BJJ, Miller with a record of 14-7-0 was once a champ for an org called Legion, he won his title fight against Silva in October and lost it less than a month later to Kyle Smith, since signing with SPFT he has won a fight and lost a fight, his loss was the most recent to Xander in the first round so he really needs to pick up the pace in this fight. Bonacelli having less experience with a record of 7-3-0 is in the same boat having a win and a loss since signing with SPFT, his win for the org was a KO in 17 seconds against Royler Bot and being 4 years younger than his foe in this fight we are expecting big things from him.

Akira  Ishikawa v Mac Shitstack brings us our last Bantamweight fight for this event, Ishikawa has a record of 13-6-0 and 2-2-0 of that is for SPFT, he won his title fight for the org in late November and took the belt from Pit Bull with a TKO in the fourth round, he lost his belt to Fiendish a month later and has failed to get a win since, however, with his exceptional counter striking and pure KO power Akira is psyching up for a win against Mac, Shitstick with a record of 7-1-0 has all four fights since being signed with SPFT so he will be protecting his win streak like a mad man, he is a great all-rounder with a solid chin and as every one of his fights has gone to decision we know he can really go the distance with his great cardio.

The second Bantamweight fight of the evening is between Jokke Mela and Chris Mayo, Mela with a great record of 19-9-0 has only just signed with SPFT this month and has already gained his first victory against Jesus Christ with Unanimous decision with the judges scoring 30/27 across the board, Christ is fighting tonight as well so let’s hope there is no hard feelings behind the scenes. Chris Mayo having an extensive record of 15-13-0 has won his two fights with the org since being signed, his last fight against Steiner was a great achievement having been awarded KO of the night for a devastating Knee from the clinch in the first round, he has been a belt holder for a month back in June of 2009 and as he is one of the first 200 fighters to ever step foot in the Tycoon world he is a true veteran.

The first of three bantamweight fights in a row involves Skyler “Showtime” Myles v Jesus “The son of God” Christ, Showtime with a record of 3-0-0 has exceptional all round skills, he has had 1 fight with the org against Penn and got an award for KO of the night after knocking Penn down in the second round of a very exhausting fight he dug deep and followed through with a series of brutal strikes from full mount, Myles really has the killer instinct as well as being very quick, but will it be enough to beat The son of God, Christ has masses of experience with a 17-10-0 record but after being beaten by Mela in his last fight and Jokke being present in this event his nerves might get the better of him, having said that, The son of God has defended his belt 7 times only to lose it in July of last year against Montgomery via a TKO in the first round, being very quick as well we are expecting an action packed fight between these two.

Jin Lieu and Sasha Lagoo are our first Lightweight fighters of the evening, Lieu has won 6 fight of the night and 2 KO of the night awards with his 15-3-0 record and has defended a belt 7 times previous to signing with Steel Penn, since signing with the org he has won the belt in a title fight in September of last year, he took the belt from Guapio and lost it to Kai just a month ago, this guy is a complete animal in the ring with great all round skills and is insanely flexible. Lagoo is a great boxer with a record of 10-8-0 and 2 awards for KO of the night, Sasha has had 4 fights with SPFT and although he lost his most recent fight to Guapo he won his 3 before that gaining his awards and getting a knockout in all three wins, he has fantastic stand-up skills and has a granite chin, he will be looking for a KO against Lieu in this fight.

Ladies and Gentleman, we have our Heavyweight title fight between Gabriel “Freight Train” Francisco and Kirill Brown, Freight Train is the current belt holder, he actually has 2 belts as he won a title fight for SEC and beat Addams with a submission in November to gain it, his second and most recent belt for Steel Penn at the beginning of February winning it from Balkan with a first round submission. Francisco has amazing ground skills with a black belt in BJJ and his stand-up game is quite strong, he has a granite chin and very lethal kicks so I will be keeping an eye on this one. Kirill Brown has his debut fight for SPFT, having a record of 13-3-1 his last 7 fights were all wins for IBYAFC and impressively gaining 5 fight of the night and 1 KO of the night awards in his career thus far, he now feels it is time to up the ante and get that belt from Francisco so with his Extraordinary muay thai, he has very dangerous knees and is very quick, Brown is hungry for the belt.

To kick the night off we have our main event, Michael “Air” Jordan v Jonathan “Genocide”  Briggs in this Welterweight battle, at the beginning of last year Jordan held a belt for little over a month for an org called Bedlam, he won this belt from Viera with a decision win and lost it to Hammer with a first round submission, he now brings his impressive 13-3-0 record to The Steel Penn Fighting Alliance have already gained one win under his belt against Alcatraz at the beginning of the month with a decision win, he is a very strong fighter boasting great muay thai and a 5 win streak, in his career he has achieved 7 KO and 6 decision wins with an award for Ko of the night against Umpig knocking him out in the first round, he is eager to prove himself and wants a title fight soon by the looks of it. Genocide is a weapon of mass destruction with a record of 10-1-0 and achieving not only a belt with 3 defend wins but also three Fight of the night and 2 KO of the night awards over the past 7 months, his first title fight where he gained his belt was against Woodward in September 2011 for M MMA and has defended it 3 times since winning every one by KO, his main skill lies in wrestling and not only is he a cardio machine but he also has a solid chin, what a fight this will be.
