 WarZone 2: Betrayal

Review,  I am Luka Winner and now we will discuss our last event´s action! This time, I will begin with our first fight of the night to the main event!

Corey Maxx vs Kshitij Negi

Maxx came out for a kill. He put a jab on Negi´s nose and then after Negi´s missed high kick, Maxx rocked him with a big right hand! He let him get up and finished the fight with a nice uppercut! After only 13 seconds, the fight was over and Maxx went home with a KO of the night bonus and a chance to answer some interview questions!

Pierre Sackho vs Masuta Ground

Both of the guys wanted to be on the top of the ground action, but first takedown was scored by Masuta. There wasn´t really plenty of action and referee was considering to stand the fighters up. Then Masuta passed to half guard and started with numerous submission attempts! He worked the whole round on a submission and finally got it in 4:56 of the very first round!

Alexander Nickoson vs Varg Vikernes

The tactics were well known from the beginning of the fight. Vikernes wanted the fight on a ground, but he couldn´t take Nickoson down. Nickoson was punishing every wrong move made by his opponent. He landed some nice punches! Varg scored a takedown, but it was on the end of a round and the bell rang! Nickoson won the first round. The second round was opened in the same way as the first one, but then Varg scored a great suplex. He held Nickoson there and at the end,  he finished the fight with a nice rear naked choke!

Artur Piekarczyk vs Six Feet

In this fight, there was plenty of action! Artur was very active in the beginning with couple of punches and clinch. He scored a nice takedown , but the referee stood them up. Then Six Feet scored two takedowns, but he was lazy and didn´t use the position that he was in! Second round started with Artur´s takedown! Artur came to the full mount position, but he wasn´t very active either! Until the end of the round, Feet was clinching and taking Artur down (couple times), but he wasn´t really into the fight with his head! In the third round Artur wanted to secure his win and he took Feet down a couple of time just to be sure he can´t be finished. Artur won by the unanimous decision!

Cao Cao vs Anthony Nickoson

Cao got into Anthony´s clinch and just gave his everything. Cao started throwing knees and elbows like a maniac. He cut Nickoson. Cao was just punishing Nickoson the whole round. He won it for sure! Second round started in the same fashion. Nickoson got the clinch, but he was really in a bad place in that clinch. He knew that he must avoid clinch from now on. The third round started with Nickoson´s takedown and then he was trying to finish the fight with numerous submission attempts! He finally succeeded with a kimura after 3:59 in the last round! Because of that, he earned himself the submission of the night award and an interview.

Janiuz Solznyksi vs Mike Bovine

The fight didn´t start so good for Janiuz. He was cut early, but that didn´t affect him a lot. He scored a nice suplex takedown. Janiuz was holding Bovine down until the referee stood them up. But, Janiuz scored another takedown and won the first round. When the second round started, Janiuz immediately went for Bovine´s legs and paced him on the ground. Bovine was very active with his submission attempts and he got the submission victory after 4:57 of the second round!

Main Card!

Steve Clark vs Ricky Roller

This was a fight of the night! Ricky will take the credit for it. He really fought well. Early in the first round, he scored a single leg takedown. There he punished Steve with all kind of artillery. Referee stood them up, but that wasn´t a problem for Ricky and he made another takedown. Tried couple of submissions, but didn´t succeed. He dominated the round. In the next round he took his opponent like he was a training dummy. Ricky went for an armbar and got it!!

Albert De Morcerf vs Joe The Plumber

In the first round Albert was better and was scoring in his clinch positions. Joe was trying to break clinches and to score from the outside with his kicks! That round was won by Albert. The second round started and Joe was keeping the fight 3 minutes where he wanted, but then Albert got him in his devastating clinch. He just pounded Joe. He won the second round, too! Last round was very close. There was action in back and forth. Albert was maybe more active and I would give him this round, but even that wouldn´t be enough for him to win the fight. Albet won on a decision!

Co-Main Event

Logan Steele vs Felio Meloy

This fight was really the same in all three rounds. Both of our guys were standing in the middle of the cage and were just punching each other. Steele was looking more for some combinations and Meloy had single punches with some kicks all the way. Meloy´s tactic was better and he had more clear shots. Steele took more damage and lost all three rounds. Meloy scored a deserved victory.

Main Event

Massive Attack vs Archer Christian

In the first round, there was some stand and bang action at first, but Christian took his opponent down and completely controlled the round. Second round started in the same way as first and Archer scored a takedown once again! But, they were stood up and Attack destroyed Archer on his feet. He won that round! In the last round, we have the same amount of action and Christian took Attack again, but he wasn’t so active anymore. Referee stood them up again and that was the chance for Attack. He really did everything to dominate on the feet. He outpunched his opponent and probably won that round. Attack won the fight in a dramatic fashion, via majority decision!
