Today we have with us recently crowned GAMMA 205lbs champion Adis Djurdjevic for an exclusive interview!!!
Question #1: Adis i would like to congratulate you for winning the GAMMA world 205lbs title. How does it feel stepping into the shoes of former 205lbs all time greats such as Jeremy Tonal, Mikhail Yudovich and Lennon Lewis?
Adis#1: It feels absolutely great. The list of GAMMA champions is the who's who of MMA Tycoon, and I feel great to be part of the group.
Question #2: You had a 2 fight battle against Danny Mangold. Both fights were very close. What do you think was the deciding factor in winning the dual?
Adis#2: I was fortunate to be able to score points in the standup. Though the strikecount was similar, I believe I did far more damage standing.
Question #3: In your next fight you face formed champion Degen Gambler, a guy you have already lost against. Do you think you can gain revenge in this fight?
Adis#3: The first fight with Degen was a great battle. I had him rocked early on, but couldn't capitalize on the opportunity. Eventually a massive head kick caught me off guard. This time I'll be ready for it.
Question #4: Only Degen has defended the title 2 times since Jeremy Tonal won the title back in 2011. Do you think you can make a more significant run as champion?
Adis#4: A champion is not a champion unless he defends the belt. I'm looking for an extended run as the titleholder, and I believe I have every necessary tool for the challenge.
