Big Wax speaks with Jim Ironheart about his career so far and whats to come...

Big Wax: Whats up my man Ironheart how ya been?
Jim Ironheart: Ya kno trainin real hard like always , you should know of all people i rarely take a day off!

Big Wax: Haha yea i was just tryin to be formal. So anyways your just coming off your fifth professional mma bout and that puts you at a perfect 5-0 setting you up for the next shot at that NAF bantamweight championship belt. So can you talk us through that Schwetty fight and then talk a little about whats to come for Ironheart?
Jim Ironheart: Well id like to start off by just saying wow Schwetty is one tough brother trucker ill tell you what. After how he looked in his last fight i figured id get that finish easy as pie. I was wrong. I learned withen the first minute after getting hit cut and knocked down with a clean head kick outta nowhere that this was going to be a war.

Big Wax: So what was going through your mind after getting rocked like that?
Jim Ironheart: Hah yea somthing like wow i dont wanna get hit with another one of those. Haha yea it was tough but i still rallied back to win the first and then after that i was in cruise control. I hit him with everything but the kitchen sink and he was in there the whole time. Man i hit him clean with a spinning backfist and he just ate it like nothing. I have a deep respect for Schwetty.

Big Wax: Well congrats on the win , it was well deserved. So can you talk about that title shot and maybe talk about the NAF 19 main event?
Jim Ironheart: Well first of all I am the peoples champ , soon to be the real one ill make sure of that. Id just like to make that clear. But on a real note I was supposed to get that shot after the Halladay fight but Strauss ducked me and went off to fight Okazaki. Its whatever he's scared and he knows it. He wouldnt stand one round against me and thats a fact! But Strauss you got your hands full with Okazaki I can tell ya that! I have tremendous respect for Okazaki for doing what i failed to do which was to finish Schwetty but that doesn't make a difference. I mean what i say post fight and i wouldnt take anything back.

Big Wax: Wow strong words. Ok i kno you want to get back to training so i wont make this much longer. So will you be there for NAF 19? And whats your pick for the main event?
Jim Ironheart: Well ill be sitting cage side for this one! I may be underestimating Strauss but id say TKO in the third for Okazaki. I just cant see this guy losing to someone who's gotten all his hype from beating up Jobber three times.

Big Wax: Wow again those are some strong words.
Jim Ironheart: Well i got this problem where i say what i mean.

Big Wax: Hah alright im gonna let you get back to training , good luck becoming the NAF bantamweight champ.
Jim Ironheart: Thanks man its been fun.
