Fight Two: Light Heavyweight Division: Tycho Van Braam (0-0-0) vs. Samuel Jackson (0-0-0)
The next fight in the heavyweight division will be a very interesting one as two new fighters look to make a name for their selves in Amsterdam and in the UFL. As previously mentioned this fight looks like it’s going to be a very exciting one as these two men are very different fighters. Van Bram is a fighter that prides himself in his superior muay thai skills and will rely on keeping this fight standing and focusing on the clinch, knees and kicks in this fight. Jackson on the other hand is a good boxer, but an excellent wrestler. His wrestling abilities alone show he is a force to be reckoned with in the cage. Which one of these two men will leave Paddy’s Bar with a victory in UFL 1: Uprising?

Fight Three: Welterweight Division: Johnny Knoxville (0-0-0) vs. Ravel Williams (2-1-0)
This will be the first fight on the card featuring someone who has made their MMA Pro debut. Ravel Williams and Johnny Knoxville will square off in the cage. With Williams coming in riding on one win, he is going to want to make his impact on the UFL and possibly move himself closer to a title shot at UFL 5. Williams does seem to have an edge in his muay thai skills and a slight edge in jujitsu, but in boxing and wrestling Knoxville will definitely be a fighter to worry about. Will the up and comer Knoxville, put this somewhat seasoned fighter Williams down and demonstrate just how talented he is? Or will Williams pick up another win and make his first night in the UFL one to remember?

Fight Four: Light Heavyweight Division: Dum Vivimus Vivamus (1-0-0) vs. Sdsa Xcas (0-1-0)
In the fourth fight of the night we are going to see some impressive heavyweights go at it. Both of these men have made their pro debut, with one of them picking up a key victory and the other suffering a loss. Vivamus is really the only one with a clear advantage and that is in his muay thai. Vivamus has impressive kicks and knees that he will have at his disposal. Vivamus is also a very gifted wrestler; however that is where Xcas’ skills come into play. Xcas is a well versed wrestler himself. Vivamus is going to want to keep this fight on the ground, where Xcas is probably going to want to keep this on the ground and find a way to assert himself and fight for a decision. Will Xcas’s rebound in his first UFL Fight or will Vivamus continue to gain momentum?

Fight Five: Lightweight Division: Conroy Blevins (1-0-0) vs. Cyril Zakharov (1-0-0)
This lightweight bout is set to be a pretty explosive one. Each of these men own a victory in their professional careers and each of them were by decision. Come UFL 1 you can bet that these two men are going to do their best to stand out. If his last fight says much for his strategy, Zakharov will look to go to the clinch in this fight. He attempted a number of submissions, but the jujitsu game of Blevins will most likely prevent him from wanting to go to the ground. Blevins’ wrestling and jujitsu skills are both worthy of praise and acknowledgement from fans, but to Zakharov, they should remind him to now push his luck. Zakharov is going to want to keep this fight standing, because a trip to the ground could very well lead to a victory for Blevin’s corner via submission. These two men both have a lot to prove, and just which one of them will prove himself the better man come next Saturday?

Fight Six: Middleweight Division: Luis Alberto Perez (4-0-0) vs. Alexander Rodriguez (0-0-0)
The second fight from the middleweight division in the UFL puts another seasoned fighter versus a new face to the pro circuit. In most sports Perez would be the favored fighter coming into this matchup but all fans of the game know that ANYTHING can happen and UFL 1 could definitely start the uprising of Rodriguez’s career. Perez, who has fight to four decision victories is definitely going to want to keep this fight standing up as his muay thai skills are some of the most impressive in the UFL. Rodriguez will be able to defend himself somewhat though as his boxing skills are fairly impressive, but Rodriguez’s key to victory is most likely going to rely in his wrestling skills, where he does have a slight advantage over the experienced Perez. However is it enough of a difference for Rodriguez to exploit. This fight is going to prove interesting and really depend on which fighter brings the strongest strategy into the cage!

Fight Seven: Light Heavyweight Division: Julio Villar (3-0-0) vs. Kirill Stegnin (0-1-0)
This is going to be a very interesting fight and I think one that will really prove just how explosive the light heavyweight division in the UFL is going to be. The Brazilian known as the Death Machine who has made quite a name for himself prior to signing with the UFL is going to take on Krill Stegnin. The strategies for this fight are going to be completely different. Villar has earned the nickname the Death Machine for his ability to finish all three of his fights via submission, and to make it even more impressive each one of them has occurred in the first round! Villar is going to look to let this match go to the ground. He is going to want to either lure Stegnin in or try to take it there himself. Stegnin on the other hand is going to want to keep this fight standing; a trip to the ground very well could spell the end for Stegnin. However if Stegnin is able to keep this fight on his feet, his superb boxing skills would allow him to really lay some strikes to Villar. Expect to watch two polar opposites compete in this contest! Will Stegnin be able to finally put a stop to the seemingly unstoppable Death Machine? Or will Villar continue to prove his dominance in MMA?

Co-Main Event: Heavyweight Division: Tyrone Frazier (4-0-0) vs. Top Heavy (0-0-0)
The Co-Main Event of the Evening is going to be another explosive showcase out of the heavyweight division and it is going to be one that is worthy of its place on the card. This fight is going to pit another very seasoned fighter against a new player to the game. Tyrone Frazier is coming into this match with a very impressive record of four victories and no losses, but it doesn’t stop there. Frazier’s record is more impressive due to the fact that all four of his victories have been via TKO and all of them have occurred before the beginning of the third round! Frazier brings some impressive skills to this fight. He is a very gifted boxer, his wrestling skills are competent and he owns a purple belt in jujitsu. Top Heavy doesn’t walk in without anything though. His boxing skills are on par, if not better than, those of Frazier. This is where this fight becomes so interesting, because Frazier’s best bet is to take this match to the ground and dominate from there, possibly looking to lock in a submission and pick up his first victory there. Heavy is going to want to keep this fight standing up as a trip to the ground could very possibly lead to his demise via submission. Which one of these men will leave with a victory? Will Frazier prove his prowess as a fighter, or will Top Heavy be able to curve the momentum of The Dancing Destroyer?

Main Event of the Evening: Lightweight Division: Josef Bergstrom (2-0-0) vs. Tom Pazur (3-0-0)
This is it folks, this is the match that everyone is looking forward to; this is the Main Event of the Evening. UFL’s very first main event pits two of the top lightweight fighters against each other. Competing in the first main event is going to put a lot of pressure on these two men to shine and it would almost seem like a victory in the UFL’s very first ever main event would guarantee one of these men a shot at the title! Both of these men walking into Paddy’s Bar without a loss to their names. Which one of these two men will leave with the first victory, well let’s look at their strengths to find out. Josef Bergstrom has picked up two big victories prior to this match and both were by TKO. Once again, we see a demonstration of the sheer knockout power from another fighter as both of his wins have been in the first round. Now looking at Pazur’s career prior to signing with the UFL, he has three big victories and much like the Death Machine from earlier, Pazur’s three victories have been due to his excellent submission skills. Pazur has had one fight escape the first round, but he used his excellent jujitsu to come back and recover in the second with a tap out. One thing about this match folks, the strategies of these men are going to be completely conflicting. Bergstrom is going to want to use his superior boxing to prevent Pazur from getting to the ground and into a position where his jujitsu can be helpful to him, and Pazur is going to try and do everything he can to get this fight down to the ground! Will Pazur be able to submit the Grizzly Viking, or will Bergstrom deliver the first lost to Pazur through his superb standup? Will UFL’s first Main Event even make it out of the first round?!
