Welcome to the SFC Reborn Preview Show

Brought to you by the Syracuse Fighting Championship

Proudly Supported by Hellraiser Fightgear and Knox Energy

I am your Pre Event Analyst, Ryuuma Oshida Lets have a look at the opening Bouts

 Fight 1 Hawkins VS Koon

Koon has the upper hand in the ground battle with his black belt in BJJ. But after his last fight where

he was TKO’d after 22 seconds he might have to learn to dodge a punch. Hawkins is in for his second

bout and looking for his second win. If Hawkins wants to win he will have to be more decisive than in

his first fight. I’m Giving this one to Koon but if he cops a Head kick from Hawkins it could be all over

 very quickly.

 Fight 2 Gianni Vs Chida

Both fighters are coming of losses and have a habit of going all the way to the third round. This

one could be drawn out but Gianni is the favourite in this one for a reason even after 3 losses. His

superior skillset should see him win but it will probably go to three rounds. Gianni TKO in the third.

 Fight 3 Prodigy Vs. HaHa

These fighters both consider themselves to be Ground fighting Specialists so this fight should hit

the deck straight away. With both fighters having useless boxing and MT the fans are hoping for an

epic Wrestliing/BJJ match but I see this one going to the more experienced Da Prodigy pretty early.

Prodigy by Submission in the first round.

 Fight 4 Dickens Vs. Olegovich

The former title contender Olegovich could be in trouble in this 145lb match, with his younger rival’s

advantage in the stand-up game. Olegovich has shown an inability to take advantage of his BJJ skills

having his last 3 fights go to decision. Dickens has a real chance of knocking off a former contender .

I Have dickens winning by Decision

 Fight 5 Dayshus Vs. Colon

After a Strong 4-0 QFC Record Dayshus was stopped in the third round of his first SFC Fight and

he’ll be looking to bounce back from that showing. This is the match to do it, Colon can’t match the

stand-up and wrestling from Dayshus and his only chance of a victory is to keep the fight on the

ground where he has his only two wins. Dayshus By TKO

 Fight 6 Lee Vs. Sullivan

Sullivan is coming off two TKO losses and stepping in to what could be the hardest match of his

career against a stronger opponent who last fight was a title bout, his only chance is that Lee’s

Morale stays at rock bottom, but even with the morale difference it’s hard to see Sullivan winning

this one. If Lee gets Happy he’s got this fight in the bag. Lee by Decision

 Fight 7 Manson Vs. Pain

Pain has a history of TKO Victories six by last count and one win to decision but that strategy could

see him in trouble in this fight as Manson has the better boxing by far. Pain may be forced to use his

superior BJJ and wrestling and take this one to the ground. This fight might go to whoever can pick

up his Morale off the floor. It’s hard to argue with pain’s no loss record, so I won’t. Pain by Sub

And now for the Main events, brought to you by New York’s Premiere MMA Organization, Syracuse

Fighting Championship. We have the enviable position in this event of having 3 title fights so let’s

have a look at the contenders.

Fight 8 Severino Vs. Chalas -Title 135lb

In the 135lb title replay Severino better bring something different because he was thoroughly

beaten in their last match Chalas’ record of 11 wins by Sub is going to stretch to 12 in this fight

Severino might need to take some time and improve his skillset before he comes at Chalas again

this one is going to the floor and then it’s going to submission then it’s going in the win column for

Chalas. Chalas by second round sub

Fight 9 Sedes Vs. Fernandez - Title 185lb

This could be the closest fight of the night with both fighters having a distinct advantage, Sedes

on the ground and Fernandez in striking. But I see this one going to Fernandez his striking power

coupled with his brown belt in BJJ should be enough to protect him on the ground, so as long as he

pushes the Striking Advantage he should get the win. Sedes needs to keep this fight on the ground.

His Black belt is his strength but Fernandez can work on the ground as well if Sedes’s going to sub

“Hellraiser” he’ll have to take his time and get into the best position possible before making the

 move. Fernandez by TKO… Just

Fight 10 the Main Event - Steigelmann Vs. Fossmo - Title 265lb

The Super Heavyweight Title should be decided early as both of these fighters like to finish things

off quick, Multiple Belt winner Fossmo has the history behind him and is looking for his first title in

this org. but the skill advantage goes to Steigelmann with his far superior MT, as the other major

skills are fairly even. I’m going to call this one for Steigelmann but only just, this could be the fight of

the night. This is experience versus youth. Fossmo has been here before but can he get through the

power of his opponent. Does Steigelmann have the mental power to press his advantage in his first

title fight. This fight should be hard, fast and exciting. Steigelmann by TKO

As always keep tuned in after the night for the review show with everyone’s favourite MMA

commentator, me, Ryuuma Oshida as I breakdown all the best parts of the event.
