SFL is going back to The Ice Box in St. Petersburg for its stellar event, SFL 67: Champion vs. Champion! Let's take a look at what this awesome card has to offer!

205 lb- "Ryu" Akihiro Shirasu (6-1, 2-0 SFL) vs Mauricio Shogun (6-7) Shogun faces a tough challenge in his SFL debut against Shirasu. Shirasu is a 31-year-old grappler who still has some tricks up his sleeve. Shogun is an accomplished grappler himself, with five submission victories and polished Muay Thai skills.

205 lb- Abe "The Slayer" Lincon (9-6, 1-2 SFL) vs Red Project (4-2, 1-1 SFL) Lincon is a ground and pound expert and a good boxer, who has lost two matches in a row to very tough competitors. He looks to turn that around against Project, who is an amazing grappler with world-class wrestling skills and a black belt in BJJ.

145- "Big" Dick Hertz (9-4, 7-2 SFL) vs Slipo "Mocny" Sliper (8-2) Hertz will welcome Sliper to the SFL in a veteran vs newcomer match. Hertz is the former SFL champion, coming off of two straight wins and a sub of the night showing. Sliper is a BJJ black belt with six submission victories coming into SFL on a three fight win streak.

205 lb- Kalle "Jäätävä" Natsisiwa (11-7, 8-6 SFL) vs Francois Faber (10-2, 4-2 SFL) Natsisiwa is an accomplished boxer with nine TKO victories who is trying to make a case for his third shot at an SFL title. Faber, whose last six fights have went the distance, is a Muay Thai fighter who earned a FotN against Harry Callahan in an unsuccessful title bid.

265 lb- Aleksanteri "The Siberian Bear" Karelin (13-6, 1-2 SFL) vs Luc Lemay (7-2, 1-1 SFL) Lemay makes his return to the SFL cage against Karelin, who is coming off of two tough losses. Karelin is a boxer with great boxing skills and a win over former champion Mike Tyson. Lemay is also an awesome boxer, but focuses on his BJJ, with six out of seven wins coming by submission and all coming from finishes on the ground.

145 lb TITLE- "The Imp" Tyrion Lannister (9-1, 2-0 SFL) vs Danny "Die Like A Rockstar" Brown (14-7, 6-2 SFL) Lannister defends his title against a very competent Brown. Lannister is the former RFC champion, and hasn't lost since his first fight, boasting nine straight victories in the cage. Brown is the former SFL champion, and six time OtN winner currently riding two straight victories.

265 lb- "Nail in the Coffin" Jayavarman Wongkrachang (10-4, 1-1 SFL) vs Douglas Quaid 12-3, 1-0 SFL) Wongkrachang lost the last time he faced Quaid in the cage. Wongkrachang has top level Muay Thai and excellent grappling, boasting three SotN awards. Quaid is also a top-notch grappler, but prefers to stand up, boasting ten TKO victories, including the one over Wongkrachang.

170 Werner "Mucki" Pinzner (10-2) vs Alex "Semtex" Mercer (9-2, 5-1 SFL) Pinzner makes his SFL debut against Mercer, a vicious competitor whose only SFL loss comes from a controversial split decision. Mercer is coming off of five straight TKO victories and a KOotN award. Pinzner, the former Valhalla: Hilo champ, has nine TKO victories of his own, and is coming off of three straight TKO finishes.

170 lb- "The African Curse" Kwame Akabaro (12-1) vs Okin "Wolf" Slavas (11-1, 2-1 SFL) Akaboro makes his SFL debut against Slavas. Akabaro is the long time former Global Fighting Championship title holder, a six time OtN winner, and is amazingly well rounded, with no obvious holes in his game. Slavas is the former Wolf Palace, Ultimate Pit Fighting and SFL champion, whose only loss comes from current #1 in the SFL, Luiz Lindland. The winner of this match could very well be the next challenger for the 170 lb SFL title.

170 lb TITLE- Luiz Lindland (13-1, 1-0 SFL) vs Metin Eroglu (12-2, 6-0 SFL) Both men undefeated at SFL, both men title holders. Lindland is the bigger fighter, sometimes going up to 185 to fight, while Eroglu usually fights at 155 and is coming up to 170 for this match. Lindland is the number one ranked fighter at SFL, Eroglu is number three. Lindland, the current Crucible and SFL champion, is a known as a dirty boxer with a brown belt in BJJ. Eroglu is the former Holmgang champion, and has defended his belt five times. Both men are currently sitting on ten straight wins. One of them has to lose, but is hate to have to bet against either one. What a fight!

With a card this stacked, the Ice Box is bound to be rocked! Good luck to all of the fighters participating in this incredible events. If you're a fan of MMA, I hope to see you in St. Petersburg for SFL 67: Champion vs Champion!
