Now for the final card of the year 2013, I hope all of the fans will enjoy this one from start to finish as they have all year. Before we go back and take a year in review and watch the ball drop, fighters have wrapped their gloves and prepared for one last dance here at Heavyweight Prize Fighting.

Adonis The Bulldog Silva will look to take another step above 500 on his career as his record stands at 19-18-1. This guy is slowly falling backwards as he has lost his last two fights but failure of his chin and a bad cut that left janitors cleaning the cage for weeks. Just before his bad luck he won 3 straight exciting fights, one being an amazing head kick that put the lights out for Mark Coleman and of course nobody can forget his epic fight with El Loco ending in a dramatic draw that we all are wishing we got the opportunity to watch again. He will look to keep the fight standing against Atsushi Gracie as he is the better standup fighter against his heavyweight foe. Gracie is another Brazilian Jiu Jitsu machine of course holding a black belt that is not to be looked at lightly. If he gets this fight to the ground, you already know what time it is. At 11-4-1 Gracie has forced 8 of his opponents to start tapping like dancers in hard shoes on Broadway. Wherever this fight takes place, standing or on the ground will decide the victor.

Action Mike Laid showed off his submission skills before leaving Bushido and later showed his striking effectiveness in a QFC bout. For him, this fight is more about resurrecting his career for a late push more than anything else. At 15-17 his record and resume in the cage leaves a lot to be desired. Some say his chin is fading, some say his heart is in question and there are even doubts about his focus and confidence in the cage but most importantly, he knows that his career is in question. To avoid becoming a jobber he must put together some wins. After winning two in a row he needs this one to reach three and claim a turnaround. Crazy Fred Collins is on his personal plane crashing down hard. At 38 years old he would love to go out with a bang and for his last 3 fights, he has. Copout and Olivera both BANGED his skull like a drummer. He would love to sneak a win in here or there knowing that his days are numbered if he keeps getting blasted the way he has been. Overall, I think Laid scores a takedown and gets a finish in this bout.

I have continually tried my luck with Geodude Golem and he has NOT yet failed me, scoring 3 straight wins with his last being over Lou Ferrigno in an extremely convincing decision where all the judges scored him a 10-8 final round victory. As I have mentioned before, Geodude is at the upper eschelon of standup fighters, Elite in both boxing and Muay Thai has the skills to dismantle any fighter who would like to stand and bang with him. Against Crazy Horse Alex James this certainly will not be the case. Alex will look to use his Elite wrestling and Black Belt practitioner skills to get Geodude out of his comfort zone and to his back where he can submit and strike away until he takes the victory. This will be an epic bout of standup vs groundfighting and whoever dictates where the fight is will win. It is said that Alex James will start the fight laying on his back in recovery position because he doesnt want to stand up so badly, likewise Geodude might show up to the fight wearing knee pads. Combining for 48 wins, we will see who's experience gives the biggest benefit in this battle.

Alistair Overdose has finally passed a drug test and will be permitted to fight Sunday. How long this will last, the world will wonder. Rumors have it that Alistair Overdose, Overroid, Overeem and Bigfoot were all found hanging out in the locker room of the local gym with syringes and their pants halfway down but nevertheless they all passed their blood tests. At 41-25 Growth hormone will be a key component in this somewhat of a superfight where Bob Baramari will look to pad his career record in the final days of the year and his career with one more victory. The 39 year old Baramari has been using extra bengay and ice tubs to recover from the damage Sierra and Supernova left him with. His KO victory over Johnny Rotten has been quite a while ago and is starting to get lost in Baramari's dimentia which is 11KOs old. The brain complications for Bob actually work in his favor as he cannot seem to remember the pain he takes in as he throws punches whether he is conscious or not. This will bring our 2013 to an exciting close as we prepare to bring in the new 2014 with even more action.

Thank all of you fight fans out there, I hope you enjoyed this year of HWP and MMA tycoon as well as the amazing fights set to take place in the UFC this weekend. Happy new years to all, I urge you all to be safe while being fully inebriated and to ALL ENJOY!
