(Preliminary Card)

-[Middleweight bout]: Time Bang(n/r) (2-4) vs Juha Kuivanen(n/r) (5-11)

-[Results]: This fight showcased the vintage Time “2” Bang aggression. Bang shot in for an immediate takedown and chipped away at his opponent with absolute disdain for his supposed submission skills. Juha Kuivanen was overwhelmed quickly and found himself on the receiving end of a brutal knockout. Time Bang def Juha Kuivanen via KO (Strikes) at 1:30 of round 1.

-[Middleweight bout]: Greg Giraldo(n/r) (5-5) vs Estaban Scott(n/r) (0-1)

-[Results]: Estaban Scott had his way with Giraldo- taking him down immediately, advancing position, and submitting him. Giraldo had nothing for him on the ground. Estaban Scott def Greg Giraldo via Submission (RNC) at 1:55 of round 1.

-[Heavyweight bout]: Damian Grabowski(n/r) (3-6-1) vs Mike Balrog(8) (1-0)

-[Results]: Mike Balrog made his long awaited reappearance and he didn't disappoint us. Damian tried to keep up with him and tried to land a takedown but he just couldn't match the speed and ferocity of Balrog. Mike Balrog def. Damian Grabowski via KO (Punch) at 1:38 of round 1.

-[Lightweight bout]: Brian McCarthy(4) (2-3) vs Alex Gonzales(n/r) (2-4)

-[Results]: Brian McCarthy did what he does best- he kept up an aggressive pace that Alex Gonzales found difficult to keep up with. On the feet, Brian landed with punches and kicks. In the clinch, punches, knees, and elbows. And on the ground he was constantly working, constantly pushing, and constantly scoring points. Alex Gonzales tried desperately to keep the fight on the ground but he found no advantages there. Brian McCarthy def Alex Gonzales via Unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

-[Middleweight bout]: James Van Der Sluijs(4) (5-2) vs Biggie Shackleton(7) (4-4)

-[Results]: Biggie Shackleton is a master of scoring takedowns, maintaining position, and landing strikes onto trapped opponents. James Van Der Sluijs found himself on his back with Shackleton on top of him winging punches and Van Der Sluijs swept and controlled him, forcing a referee standup. Back on his feet, he knew he may get taken down again quickly so he aggressively engaged Shackleton. He inevitably rocked him and finished him. James Van Der Sluijs def Biggie Shackleton via TKO (Strikes) at 4:50 of round 1.

-[Heavyweight bout]: Sean Coleman(5) (5-2) vs Ben Breeze(n/r) (3-2)

-[Results]: It isn't often than I'm surprised while reviewing fights but this one surprised the hell out of me. I knew that Ben Breeze was a tough opponent for anyone but I never expected to see Sean Coleman shut down like he did. On his back, Coleman had no answer for the aggression of Breeze who just kept coming. Ben Breeze def Sean Coleman via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26).

(Main Card)

-[Heavyweight bout]: Vinny Ruggiero(6 lhw) (6-6) vs Ryan Starner(9) (6-4)

-[Results]: After the first round of this fight, I thought for sure that Ruggiero was on the way to the end of his career. Starner took him down and was working him over with ground and pound. In the second round, however, Ruggiero surged; he drove Starner into the clinch and broke him along the cage with brutal knees up the middle. He dropped him a couple of times, bashed and cut his face a few times, and finally finished him with those patented knees. Vinny Ruggiero def Ryan Starner via TKO (Knees) at 4:20 of round 2.

-[Heavyweight bout]: Arne Kjolby(3) (3-1) vs George McFly(7) (4-2)

-[Results]: Arne Kjolby was just too much of a handful for McFly. At a distance, Arne landed nearly a dozen hard shots on the button. In the clinch, McFly landed more but was out gunned by Kjolby. Arne Kjolby def George mcFly via TKO (Strikes) at 3:39 of round 1.

-[Lightweight Championship bout]: Dark Hunter(c) (5-0) vs Sho Goon(2) (9-6)

-[Results]:

In the first round, Dark Hunter trapped Goon against the cage immediately and worked to land shots. Sho Goon was hunting for takedowns, as we all knew that he would, but struggled to find them with his back to the fence. Halfway through the round, Sho Goon managed to pull guard and hunted for submissions but was unable to find them. Hunter escaped to his feet and dropped Sho Goon with a hot combo but was unable to finish him before the buzzer sounded. This was a fantastic first round for the champion.

In the second round, Hunter went back to work in the clinch against his foe. He dropped him again and again while maintaining the dominant position along the cage. The fourth time that Sho Goon fell in this championship fight, he didn't get back up. Dark Hunter def Sho Goon via TKO (Strikes) at 4:36 of round 2 to retain the undisputed lightweight championship of the world!

-[Light-heavyweight Championship bout]: Cain Cormeir(c) (9-4) vs Milan Michalek(1) (8-4)

-[Results]:

In the first round, Cormeir quickly took Michalek to the ground and controlled him. He snuck in a few shots here and there but for the most part controlled. After the referee stood the fighters up for lack of action, Cormeir picked up the pace; he took Michalek down and pounded on him with punches and elbows. This time around, Michalek found himself able to capitalize on the mistakes of Cormeir and thus scored a few sweeps. Cormeir escaped and rolled, regained his position and closed out the round on top landing blows.

In the second round, Cormeir scored on his second takedown attempt of the round. Michalek was able to sweep again but Cormeir powered his way out of it and ended up mounted on Michalek and winging shots. Michalek was unable to escape this time and got rocked and turtled up. Cain Cormeir def Milan Michalek via TKO (Strikes) at 1:37 of round 2 to retain the undisputed light-heavyweight championship of the world!
