Welterweight Championship

(Champ) David Tennant vs. (2.) Lerry Sancio

"The Doctor" David Tennant  was supposed to defend his belt vs. Joe Risley, but Risley turned down to fight because he wanted to avenge his only loss that came vs. Jay Yap. Former DFC WW Champ Lerry Sancio stepped up and is set to rematch vs. Tennant.

The first time these guys shared the cage in Destiny 24 where Tennant captured the tittle by knockout in 5th round. The match was very close and Sancio had his moment when he landed huge head kick that knocked down Tennant in 3rd round, but Sancio couldnt finish up the job and Tennant survived

The 27 year old Tennant is defending his belt for 2nd time, he is coming of impressive first round TKO victory over Jay Yap. In prefight press-confrence we asked Tennant about this fight and here is what champ told us about his opponent.

"I wish him the best of luck. Unlike other fighters he's stepping up on the plate. Seeing how he's the former champion, I respect him, but that respect runs out the second he is in the cage with me.."

Lerry "The Stalker" Sancio is coming of a win over Dan Henderson via first round KO and fight of the night award. Sancio's strongest weapon against the champ will probably be his respectable muay thai but champ has remarkable boxing and strong wrestling that will probably cause problems to challenger.

Featherweight

(1.) Frank Benoit vs. (4.) Andi Lee

The 2-time DFC Champion Frank "The Tank" Benoit is returning to DFC cage after devastating loss when he was defending his belt against Hanz Titties. Many people still believes that The Tank is best featherweight in DFC and he is ready to make his way back to belt as soon as possible.

Andi Lee is getting his toughest test so far, but after 3-consecutive wins he definately deserves to get number 1. contender match. He is already 6-3 in DFC and yet still only 20 years old, so he still have a lot of potential and bright future ahead of him. This will be classic striker vs. grappler match-up and Andi Lee will probably do everything in his power to keep this fight on feet.

Bantamweight

(3.) Bagong Buhay vs. (5.) Chong Dong

Bagong Buhay is DFC veteran with 4-2 rec in organization and his both loses has come to former champ Piotr Bukowski and to reigning BW champion Kenshin Yamamoto. Every single one of his wins has come by submission, so its probably a good guess that he wants to tapout Dong. Buhay was very dissapointed after his loss to champ and wanted rematch right away, but was forced to prove that he deserves another chance for the belt.

Chong Dong is in 3-fight winning streak and all of them have come by way of TKO in first minute of the match so Buhay wants to be really sharp in the first minutes of the match. Ping Pong's is looking to pick Buhay apart with his superb boxing. They are both just 20 years old and probably very hungry to pick a win in here.

Welterweight

(3.) Joe Risley vs. (4.). Jay Yap

Risley vs. Yap is probably one of the most interesting fights in the card. Risley actually turned down a tittle shot in order to get back his KO lost to Jay Yap in Destiny 21. Risley has seriously been constantly asking for this fight and said he wants to get this over it before going for the tittle. After his loss to Yap he got 2 impressive KO victories, both in just 25 seconds. Can he avenge his loss and get tittle shot or will he lose them both?

Jay Yap hasnt been saying much about all the buzz, he just accepted the fight when it was offered and is ready to prove again that he is better mixed martial artist. Yap is coming of a loss to champ Tennant via first round TKO and looks to get back in win column vs. Risley. Even tho Yap won the first match between these two, he is underdog in this fight but probably wants to shut up the doubters.
