Lightweight Championship

(Champ) Afa Sila vs. (3.) Jin Mishima

"The Arm Collector" returns to action this saturday to defend his belt for the 4th time against 23 years old japanese  "The Chosen One". Sila has almost unreal 7-0 rec in DFC and he has been submitting guys from left and right. Sila has build up pretty scary reputation. The tittle fight was orginally offered to Tonnie Mazloum, but he turned down the fight against the champ and the Mishima was next in line. Mishima accepted the offer right away and was very thankful for the opportunity.

Afa Sila was asked earlier this weekend about the fight and here is what he said:

"Thank you, Jin for stepping up to fight the Arm Collector, the Samoan SWAT, the Eater of Minds, the Destroyer of Dreams, your Undisputed Undefeatable Champion, Afa Sila. When some Jabroni beg of to face the Champ, you step up for a match up with destiny. And for that I salute you. But, remember the result will be the same, i will still be the champ, but will I collect another arm. For Samoa!"

Mishima is coming to this fight as a big underdog. He has been with DFC for a long time already and this will be his 8th bout in Destiny FC with record 5-2, but this will be his first time fighting for the tittle. Mishima is brown belt BJJ just like his opponent so this might turn to back and forth submission war.

Mishima felt confident earlier this week when we had chance to ask him about the fight:

"I am ready, I gave my best to train i developed fast in the last weaks. I want to gave the fans a great Show and want to win against Afa Sila . And i want to thank Wessel that gave me that shot, thank you for the opportunity"

Middleweight Championship

(Champ) Joe Pae vs. (3.) Nari Vari

The Trilogy between Pae and Vari will be completed this saturday in this highly anticipated rematch after unbelieve 5 round war that was judged to be draw. It's pretty impossible to say what's gonna happen in this match. Vari lost their first match by unanimous decision, but the 2nd fight was totally different and showed us how much he has improved.

Pae is still undefeated and he is defending the belt for the 6th time already. It will be very interesting to see what kind of changes in gameplans we will see or will they both fight the same way and hope to get the nod this time. Hopefully we'll get the first finish between these two so we dont need to keep throwing those "if's" about the judges cards.

Light Heavyweight

(2.) Moses Sithole vs. (5.) Loves To Spooge

The former DFC LHW champ Moses Sithole returns to action after losing his tittle to Landon Austin in his last fight. Moses got 2 tittle defences in his first run as a champ. It feels like The African Strangler has been around for ages probably because he has been in such a big role in DFC, but people gotta remember that the Sithole is just 21 years old and still improving everyday and first setback in his career will probably just make him stronger and motivated.

Loves To Spooge will have very tough debut in his DFC career, but he is undefeated and went 3-0 in his ex-organization. Spooge's biggest  weapons are his strong boxing and superb muay thai, so Spooge will probably want to stand and bang with the ex-champ. It's easy to say what an awesome opportunity this is to this 20 years old brazilian, when he gets to face 2. LHW right away.

Light Heavyweight

(4.) Max Pacioretty vs. (6.) Tebato Nakara

Max Pacioretty is coming from impressive win over the former champ Jimbo Jenkins and he is very close to get another shot for the tittle, but this saturday he will face 22 year old japanese Tebato Nakara. Pacioretty is 4-1 in DFC. Max will probably try to use his exceptional wrestling to grind or G&P his way to victory here. He also got his first submission win in his last bout so who knows if he was been focusing more on his BJJ.

Tebato Nakara is stepping in the DFC cage for the 8th time and he is currently 5-2 in DFC. Nakara is coming from Fight of the Night performance vs. Ivan Nikolov where he knocked Nikolov out with beautiful head kick right at the beginning of the 3rd round. Muay Thai is definately his strongest weapon and he probably wants to avoid getting in to wrestling match with Pacioretty. Victory for both of these guys would be huge if they are interested to get the belt.
