ECFC Signs Yabhouti

The East Cost Fighting Championship has signed New York fighter Sheikh Yabhouti to its lightweight ranks.

The three-fight contract was signed earlier today by Yabhouti, who made a winning MMA debut against WareDa Beef earlier this week.

While that may be his only MMA fight to date, the 24-year-old Yabhouti said he was ready to take his MMA talent to the next level.

"[the contract] was kind of unexpected onlyhaving one fight and all," he said. "But I've got all the tools to shine in the ECFC and I'm ready to showcase my talent to the world."

"I'm one of the best lightweight prospects in MMA right now, and by the time this contract is fufilled all MMA organisations will be knocking down my doors to have me in their ranks."

It is unclear who or when Yabhouti will be fighting at this stage, but with the ECFC 4 fight card already filled, it is unlikely he will fight until March.
