Host Niko:
Welcome to another addition to Cage Unlocked I am your host Niko Batchista and we are going to discuss Extreme MMA 15! I will give my predictions for all of the fights on the card, but I will discuss the co-main event and main event in depth. We have an exclusive interview with the challenger for the EMMA 205 lb. Title and main Event, Alan Pitbull. That will be coming up a little later. I did contact the champion Sailo Damtea’s management group; unfortunately they did not get back to me. I do know that Damtea is the type of fighter who would much rather just punch you in the face, than talk about punching you in the face, so I knew it was a long shot for them to answer my request. Well let’s get into the predictions. Just an FYI, over the last two events EMMA 13 and 14 I have predicted 16 out of 20 fights correctly and in the last event EMMA 14 I predicted 6 out of 8 finishes correctly.

In the co-main event we have the #5 ranked LHW in EMMA Anatolly Lapikov 5-6
(1-0 in EMMA) is coming off of a 2nd round TKO victory is squaring off against the #8 ranked Grant Riley 6-2 who is making his EMMA debut. Both Lapikov and Riley are KO artists. Out of their 11 combined victories all have been via KO/TKO. This fight will not go the distance. My gut says that newcomer Grant Riley will win this one. Even though he is the lower ranked fighter. He seems to be the more skilled fighter. Riley can knock you out with his hands and his feet. However, Lapikov is a brown belt in BJJ and a good wrestler. If this fight goes to the ground Lapikov would have an advantage. However like I said earlier I just think Riley will be too much for Lapikov.
Prediction: Riley via KO/TKO

Our main Event is for the EMMA LHW Championship between the Champion Sailo Damtea 7-2 (3-0 in EMMA) and the Challenger Alan Pitbull 14-10 (1-0 in EMMA), but before I break down this fight and make my prediction I have a special guest with me on the phone. It is our challenger for the EMMA LHW title. None other than Alan “Chow” Pitbull.

Niko:
“Hey Alan, How are you today?”

Alan:

I’m good!

Niko:
How did you get in to the sport?

Alan:
I did a lot of Brazilian jiu-jitsu when I was a kid In Sweden. Won all the national championships. I wanted a new challenge so therefore turned my focus towards MMA.

Niko:
Who is your biggest inspiration?

Alan:
My biggest inspiration is Royce Gracie, the man, the myth, the legend. He inspired me a lot when I was a kid. If it weren’t for him, I would never have gotten into BJJ.

Niko:
What does it mean for you to be a fighter?

Alan:
It means honor and respect. Everything that happens in the octagon stays fair and square unlike life in the real world.

Niko:
If you could have one dream fight with anyone, who would it be?

Alan:
It would be a huge honor to fight Royce Gracie, unfortunately he is retired. My dream will stay a dream.

Niko:
What do you want to be remembered for at the end of your career?

Alan:
I want to have become an inspiration to all people around the world, just like Royce Gracie.

Niko:
What would it mean to you to become EMMA’s LHW Champion?

Alan:
It means that I am at the top of the iceberg and knocking down everyone who is trying to climb up.

Niko:
Do you like to stand with your opponents or take them to the ground?

Alan:
It doesn't really matter; I am good at both ends.

Niko:
What's your favorite strike/submission to use in any fight?

Alan:
Although, it hasn't happened a lot, my favorite submission is kneebar. Fast and deadly...

Niko:
What separates you from every other fighter in your division?

Alan:
I have the heart to do the work. The patience to wait for the right moment. And I believe the moment is now!

Niko:
Which team are you training with in preparation for your upcoming fight?

Alan:
We have team of 10 fighters training out of Las Vegas. Very talented guys who drill me everyday.

Niko:
What holes do you see in Sailo Damtea game?

Alan:
He is a striker. Need I say more? Let's all see what he can do on the ground when he meets a ground specialist like me.

Niko:
Is there anything you want to say to Sailo Damtea?

Alan:
Hope you can survive 5 rounds of pure ground and pound and ended with a kneebar in the 5th. I will end your career Damtea. You will need several ACL surgeries...

Niko:
Wow, those are strong words for the Champion. Alan thank you for joining me on Cage Unlocked. Good Luck on March 14th.

Alan:
Thanks!

Niko: After talking with Pitbull, He made his strategy clear take Damtea down and submit him. That is exactly what he needs to do. Pitbull has the skills to do it. He is an outstanding wrestler and black belt in BJJ. Damtea on the other hand is a standup phenom. He will knock you out with his hands, feet, and knees. This fight will be determined by where it takes place. I just don’t know if Pitbull has enough of a standup game to get this to the mat. If he does though Pitbull wins. I’m not sure who wins this fight, but one thing I am sure of, this fight won’t go 5 rounds.
Prediction: Heads Pitbull, Tails Damtea……… Tails Damtea via KO/TKO
