Forbidden Violence #11: Nowhere to Run! Preview and Insider

Good evening, morning or night to those reading this preview from whatever time-zone you may live in. Coming up in four days is another great event set up by the premier MMA fighting organization known as Evil Forbidden Violence. Currently riding a wave of hype and anticipation, achieved through a sold out crowd at Forbidden Violence #10: Times Up at the Hard Knocks arena in the lovely city of Las Vegas. Of course, the event shall be under standard MMA rules and will be held at the Hayashi Lounge. The attendance capacity is only 2,000 unlike the Hard Knocks,so get your tickets today! This event has some premier athletes battling out in the cage, the main event featuring Kent Hytten and Jayavarman Wongkrachang and the co-main event being filled by the fighters James Proudstar and Hug Raction. More details within, but before that, let us get through the preliminary bouts as even the newly signed guys need some love. Many of them have less than 5 fights in their career, leaving much room for improvement. Keeps your eyes out for the undercards, some of them might show up on the next headliner very soon! All are vying for shots to to be the best and the honor of winning one of the OF THE NIGHT AWARDS provided by our sponsors HGH Nutrients Q160-Q158. So Let's Get To IT!

Preliminary Bout Number One : Super Heavyweight Match-up at 265lbs - Brock Lesner vs Tommy "Gun" Thompson

These two guys have had it rough in their careers thus far. They combine for a total of 10 fights between them, with only two of those being wins! Brock Lesner, the eighteen-year old all-rounder out of Sydney, Austrailia has come to Las Vegas to find a successful career. Still being only in his teens, his record could only be expected, a lackluster 1 -3. Losing his last two bouts in Forbidden Violence, one by a Kimura finish in the first two minutes of the first round and a TKO in the first 50 seconds, it is no mystery he has a suspect chin that is coupled with an unpolished ground game. He does have a size advantage on Thompson, boasting 210cm in height compared to his opponents 198. His only chance to really win this fight is if he can catch Thompson with a powerful counter strike and utilize his reach effectively or a sneaky submission attempt. Still, at this young age competing in a ruthless environment, no doubt he will have the experience in the future to dominate.

While Lesner is the youngster, Thompson has got a couple years under his belt. At the age of 22, "Gun" could be considered a journeyman of sorts, having been through some previous organizations before arriving to the real deal, Forbidden Violence. A 1 - 5 record doesn't help him, three coming from unanimous decisions and the other two at the mercy of a submission. Having trouble in the past to finish fights and to protect himself from being brought down to the mat, opponents have been content with gaining points, breaking him down, and putting him to sleep. In his defense, his opposition as of late have been no slouches, a sign that Thompson could be a middle-of-the-pack type of guy. Despite this, the nickname "Gun" is well-deserved. With a base of boxing complimented by muay thai and wrestling, he can dish out with the best of them.

If Thompson can aim them in the right spots, this fight should be over before the second round in stunning fashion.

Preliminary Bout Number Two : Featherweight 155lbs Match-up - Avery "Little Man" Paul vs Thiago "Maos De Pedra" Azevedo

On to the next bout, these two guys are serious contenders to rise up through the ranks. Both are inexperienced, only 5 fights in total among the two. On one side, it is the 23 year old, Avery "Little Man" Paul who is making his debut in Forbidden Violence. A native of Canada, he has made the move to Las Vegas to get some recognition in the sport he loves, entering with a 1 - 1 record. "Little Man" does not hit like one folks, he can sever the connection between the body and the brain in an instant with his hard kicks. His last win came in the first round at 1:34, by a KO via head kick. He has the flexibility to get his kicks where they need to be, the strength to finish a fight, mixed in with a dangerous muay thai clinch game. His problem is going to be keeping the fight standing against the wrestling skills of Thiago. Training out of the gym Hand 2 Hand Combat, their stand-up specialists could prove enough to give him a chance even without a defensive base.

Maos De Pedra Azevedo on the other hand, he is a versatile specimen on all facets of the game : Boxing, Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling. He has not done much with Muay Thai, though with his quick hands, him knowing how to use leg kicks would be unfair. Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Azevedo is a current resident of New York City. Flying out to Las Vegas for his match must be an experience, showing his dedication to fight whoever and wherever in the organization. Recording a 1 - 1 record thus far in Forbidden Violence, it won't hold much water. Both tallies were against the same opponent, so Azevedo's actual abilities could still be hidden. Currently training in the Elite Gym known as the Champions Gym, he is definitely looking for the best trainers and best advice.

No underestimation here, I'm expecting a KO or Submission finish by Avezedo, with a slight upset alert depending on how "Little Man" handles the ever-changing situation in the ring.

Undercard Bout 1: Super Heavyweight 265lbs and up - Orochi "God of War" Doppo vs "Hit Hard" Tyson Drone

This is one of the most one-sided affairs on paper I have ever pre-viewed. With Orochi only having one fight in his career, winning by TKO in the first round before two minutes, he seems to be a guy with good KO power. Highly skilled with his Muay Thai base, followed by incredible instruction in Boxing, no doubt he can bring down the lower ranks of the Super Heavyweight division. Being backed by an exceptional manager, he is training out of the Soul Supremacy Elite Gym. Their amazing coaches and mangament team are definitely a factor in the rapid growth of his 20 year-old out of Tokyo, Japan, moving to Las Vegas after being signed by Forbidden Violence. His opponent, is of a different variety.

Tyson Drone has 31 wins, 22 losses and one draw. A 34 year old veteran out of Belize, the man who over his career has been known as "Hit Hard", has a valid pedigree. Former champion in the now closed down fighting organization Hardcore Extreme out of Amsterdam, he defended his title numerous times and racked up an impressive record. After its closing, he jumped from organization to organization, packing up the losses and somehow losing his touch. Much of that is old history, winning four of his last five fights and now looking to demolish the rookie Forbidden Violence has put him against. There is not much Drone cannot do, as he can hold himself in all aspects of MMA and is no stranger to giving out KO's or even submission finishes.

The prediction is Drone before the first round is over.

Undercard Bout Two : Super Heavyweight 265lbs and up - Tony "Blood" Lanes vs Mark "The Undertaker" Calloway

This is a good match right here folks. Current champion Mark "The Undertaker" Calloway is deserving of the title. Coming into this match with a 3 - 2 record, winning his last two fights within the first round, there is an expectation for a quick finish here. Known for his stand-up game, he is not trying to get put on his back. Forgettable Jiu-jitsu skills is his major weakness. He will be looking to jab away at Lanes to keep him at bay, waiting for that critical moment to land a counter blow and end the fight. Being only 21, you'll see more of this champion around the organization given a sucessful defense here at FV #11.

The challenger is the 26 year-old out of Queens, Tony "Blood" Lanes. With only two fights under his belt and a 1 - 1 record, not much is known about him. His last match was a victory, showing superior transitions and the know how to get a Rear Naked Choke before the end of the first round. He is not going in without a game-plan, having to deal with a size disadvantage of 189cm to Calloway's 208. Longer the limbs, the harder it is to work the ground game, so let's see if Lanes can take turn around his misfortune. The experts at Evil Empire Awakening Gym are training him to take the title in the future and it would give them prestige for a champion to attend their facilities.

It is up in the air, but an upset submission or unanimous decision by Lanes could be plausible.

Undercard Bout Number Three : Heavyweight 205lbs - George "Pornstache" Mendez vs "Nasty" Nicolas De Ertu

A very close match here, highlighted by the debut of George Mendez, an undefeated all rounder who hails from Tokyo. The 23 year-old is quite familiar with fast finishes, only two of his wins coming in the second round. 5 - 0 is impressive, but it is to be seen if the streak will continue. Spearheading the assault is his Boxing base and Muay Thai clinch game. To keep the fight standing like how he likes it, Mendez is going to utilize his wrestling to stop all takedowns into a sprawl. If the fight does go to the ground, there won't be too much trouble as he is a purple belt in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu. Training out of the Brown House gym, these guys know what they are doing with their rising star.

Going against him and not willing to be another statistic, is "Nasty" Nicolas De Ertu. For now, we'll call him Nasty Nico. The 25 year-old out of Amsterdam, Netherlands, is ready for war. Despite a 9 - 8 record, he definitely has the experience advantage against Mendez. He knows what it feels to lose and he knows how it feels to win, along with how each of those outcomes happen. For Nico to secure a victory here, he will be looking to abuse his quick hands and wrestling moves. Having garnered Submission of the Night awards before in the GAMMA fighting organization, his ground-game is under-rated and always a threat to those unprepared.

Both extremely even, I'll give this to Nico for a decision victory.

Undercard Bout 4 : Featherweight 145lbs Match-up - Ricardo "Speedy" Gonzales vs Volk "The Viking" Kruth

The next match is back down to the lower weights, where speed is power and KO's are moreso timed counter-attacks than all-out brawls. Flying out of Los Angeles, the 29 year old veteran "Speedy" is looking to put his Mexican boxing roots to good use. A good candidate for one of the fastest in the division, his hands can dish out combos faster than a lot of professional boxers. Quick and agile on his feet, Speedy is a striker by heart, utilizing his Muay Thai clinch game to ensare his opponents in a speed hell of knees and uppercuts. With a 3 -3 record, winning his last match by KO via knees, he has power ladies and gentleman. Having faced some decent talent in Rogue FC back in Los Angeles, moving on to a bigger name organization is a test of his own abilities. Not much of a submission artist, his wrestling will keep the fight standing for a while. By the time his opponent can get him on the mat, they should be too beaten to take advantage. Fighting out of the Blacksmith Mega Gym, the amount of peers and coaches that are available to him is a big help, having the insight of different perspectives to assist his strategy.

Going against him, is an equally terrifying prospect out of Europe. "The Viking" out of Stockholm, Sweden, Volk Kruth is flying in from Los Angeles as well. He is very powerful at the 145 division, dropping down a weight-class from 155. Entering with an undefeated record of 6 - 0, all TKO's, not many people bang with him unless they want a ticket home. He actually is stronger with his grappling, a wrestler with excellent cardio and Jiu-Jitsu to rattle anyone who would prefer to be on the mat, he is a tough customer and someone who we will hope to see in the future. Fighting out of the Bushido Training Center, reminscient of his previous organization Bushido, he must be taking the warrior spirit with him into this fight. Win or lose, both of these guys can make some noise in the organization.

Volk will dominate all areas of the fight, getting the victory by the second round with a TKO.

Main Card Bout 1 : Heavyweight 205lbs Match-up - Tom "Bain" Hardy vs Randy "The Real Deal" Robinson

A great match up. The long and tall Tom "Bain" Hardy out of the UK is in Las Vegas to represent his country. Entering with a 3 - 1 record, all wins with a submission, hes been with Forbidden Violence for a while now and looking to continue his rise in the ranks of his division. With a brown belt in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu,  he is able to dominate with his length on the ground. Hardy is not a one-trick pony. The man can finish with a submission from multiple positions, he is efficient in getting between the holes in his opponents game-plan and then executing it. We will be looking for him to pick apart  "The Real Deal", who is about to have a real problem considering that submissions are the "Bain" of his existence right now.

A native of the UK as well, albeit in Liverpool, this fighter is coming into this match up with a 7 - 6 - 1 record. With a large part of his losses coming from the QFC, he has able to pick it up against premier competition in the Soul Supremacy Fight Club. Now 3 - 0 in FV, he is not willing to let the streak end here. With the wrestling skill to rival olympic wrestlers and a decent ground game, it will be interesting to see how he will advance on Hardy. If not cautious, a submission will take him out easy in the earlier rounds. This will be a strategic battle, someone waiting for a slip-up.

Hardy winning by Split Decision is the verdict here.

Main Card Bout 2 : Welterweight 170lbs Match-up - Samak Tiyapairat vs Gary Washington

One of the hardest matches to predict today. The favorite to win this is Samak Tiyapairat, a native of Thailand who has called Thailand home for a while. Having one at time held the 155lbs belt at Soul Supremacy Fight Club, he has champion experience behind him. Debuting in the FV with a 22 - 10 record, half with TKOs and half by Decision, he knows how when to go for the finishing blow and when to ride it to an easy win. The majority of his losses have come from TKO's, suggesting a weak chin at this stage of the 34 year-old's career. "Tiya" is well versed in Muay Thai, mixing in Wrestling with his clinch game to keep opponents guessing. Once the fight is on the ground, he can smother for a decision win or batter his adversaries with ground and pound.

The submission artist who has achieved 7 Submissions of the Night awards within his 25 - 20 record, "Mr. Mean" is flying in from Los Angeles to display his ground game. Just as good as Tiya in Muay Thai, Washington is one of the most versatile fighters so far seen in the Welterweight division. With a slight edge over Tiya, the American still has trouble taking a hit himself. Last 6 of his 8 matches have ended in a loss by either KO or TKO, and another by Decision. Whoever lands the first blow here will be most likely to win, both of these men having their respective camps picking part their strategy as to leave no gaps in them. Tiya from the Personal Training Gym and Gary Washington from the Blacksmith Megagym, it will be interesting to see if a bigger gym helps, or a more private, elite one.

Tiya with a KO victory by the third round.

Co-Main Event : Super Heavyweight 265lbs Match-up - "Warpath" James Proudstar vs Hug "E" Raction.

A match for all to see, this is a match up of stars. Both of these men combine for 98 matches in total, James with a 34 - 24 record and Hug with a 22 - 19 record. Hug has been having poor form as of late, taking extensive beatings in EVO and CEC. All of his losses have come from TKO's, showcasing his weak chin and unable to handle powerful striking combos. Being of 30 years, he is James' junior by six years. Maybe his youth can tilt the odds in his favor, accompanied by the all-rounder skill set that is blemished by his ground game. The native out of Benin will look to represent his country in the FV, to show the fans what fights against EVO caliber opponents can do to provide an experience you won't forget. Working out in a little known gym called Restricted Area, he must be learning some top secret moves just to win this bout.

"Warpath" James Proudstar is looking to bounce back from his lost to Kent Hytten who is in today's main event. A 36 year-old veteran out of the state of Arizona, Las Vegas is his battleground. Going 3 - 7 in his last ten fights, a bad streak is stuck on Proudstar. All except for one of his losses were by KO or TKO. Age has caught up with him, so his ability to take damage surely has been going down with the passing of time. Boasting versatility with Wrestling, Boxing and Muay Thai, he is looking to keep the fight standing or to take it to ground and pound Hug into the mat. A significant height advantage of 213cm compared to E's 195, he will have to use this to get him the victory. With both of them having equal skill with the ground game, it will be interesting to see if they will try to surprise each other with submission holds and takedowns, or look to go out with guns blazing in a slugfest. With the help of his camp, Den of Tears, his numerous coaches can provide invaluable scouting reports and advice for his match.

Hug Raction with the TKO victory in the second round.

MAIN EVENT : Super Heavyweight 265lbs Match-up - "The Biohazard" Kent Hytten vs Jayavarman Wongkrachang

The main event of Forbidden Violence #11 : Nowhere to Run features a battle of generations. The old model to the new prototype, or the ancient wizard schooling the young scholar. Kent Hytten is now forty years old, still duking it out with men half his age and still winning. A record of 38 - 25 is deceiving. 12 out the 25 losses have been due to decision and only 10 from TKO. Not an easy prospect to put to sleep even when past his prime, "The Biohazard" has been headlined in MMA events more than some guys have in their win column.  Only fault of his would be the lack of Jiu-Jitsu compared to his Wrestling and stand-up game. The super beast out of Denmark plans to be king of the Super Heavyweights, with Las Vegas as his palace. With the experience of a champion, this man is not done winning yet.The old dog plans to crush the dreams of the young fighter Jayavar. Training out of the Vendetta Elite Gym, their long-term partnership is a sight to see.

Against him, is the twenty-five year old Jayavarman Wongkrachang out of Thailand. Flying in from Montreal, he did not come a long way just to lose. Despite having a handful of fights compared to Kent at 12 - 5, he is without a doubt one of the best super heavyweights in world at the age of 25. A blackbelt in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu with an equally strong arsenal of Muay Thai and Wrestling, he is ready for the fight to take place everywhere. Having a good equalibrium of KOs and Submission finishes, there is no telling what he will do. Of course, we suspect he will keep the fight on the ground and gas out the veteran before submitting him to his whims. Training out of the Oni Grappling Academy, they are the masterminds behind Jayavarman's skillful artistry.

If kept standing, Kent. If on the ground for a split-second, Jayavarman by submission. Both scenarios by the second round
