Lightweight: Mohsen "Gilgamesh" Mosaddegh (2-0) vs Steve Pharaoh (12-11)

If you don't know Mohsen Mosaddegh, you will do soon. The fighting pride of Isfahan is a real deal lightweight prospect who looks more than capable of dealing with his far more experienced opponent on Saturday. With room to grow in all areas it his fast and powerful hands that have caught the eye so far. Whether in uppercuts in the clinch or the cross that follows up the jab the punches that Mosaddegh throws are nothing short of venomous. He is constantly pressuring his opponents but not with wild flurries, he sets things up and cuts off angles until matching your face with his fists is inevitable. For Pharoah he needs to get this one to the ground where he has the edge in terms of pure jiujitsu. Whether his wrestling is good enough to get it there and whether he can survive closing the distance is up for debate however.

Prediction: On the ground this fight evens up but standing there is a clear favourite. Pharaoh knows all the tricks and will prove a valuable lesson for Mosaddegh who should still turn the lights out in the second with a nasty TKO.

Super Heavyweight: Brandon "Beef" Cattell (5-0) vs Creed Bratton (7-5)

Supersize Ko artist are two a penny in TTFC, it takes something special to really get the fans going and Brandon Cattell may be just that. After 5 fights his average fight time is 55 seconds with all of his wins coming by impressive (T)KO. He is extremely short for a super heavyweight, walking around somewhere between standard welterweight and middleweight height but this dude packs a punch. If he can connect on Bratton this could be over quickly. For Bratton the task is simple, use range, cardio and experience to make this thing go as long as possible. Take you chances and whatever you do, don't stand still.

Prediction: Cattell is an easy target for the top boys in the division but he should be simply to heavy handed for Bratton. Winning by first round KO.

Light Heavyweight: "Temujin" Genghis Khan (15-10-1) vs "Captain America" Steve Rogers (12-16)

This is a battle of small time fighters with big names. The timeless super soldier versus the all conquering war lord. Both have skills that suggest they should be running with the top dogs but both have had more set backs than they care to remember. For Rogers his problem is simple, his chin is so bad that to call it glass is an insult to glass. It's so bad it's as if he was injected with "Fainting Goats" formula instead. In Khan's case his faults are harder to pinpoint, he has just come up against the better man on the day too often for his liking. Whether that is down to poor gameplanning or just plain bad luck the jury is still out but on his day he can be lethal. Khan possesses some of the most power of an TTFC Light Heavyweight and which he channels well particularly in his takedowns. From top position he can rain down strikes or lock in submissions and although his stand up is rudimentary if it lands flush you know about.

Prediction: Steve Rogers has all the tools to be a force but his chin is just dire. Look for Khan to beat him into submission by the midpoint of round 2.

Light Heavyweight: Malcolm "Tree" Stumps (10-8) vs Rainbow "Fishy" Trout (13-4)

To say that the TTFC fans have not seen the best of Stumps yet, is a serious understatement and when your back is against the wall in this sport guys either crumble or deliver. Stumps needs to deliver on his serious potential and fast. Vicious standing, lethal on the mat Stumps should be a test for just about anyone at 205 but Tyson Gauge and Agamemnon Coon have made him look woefully out of his depth in his last two fights. For the unfortunately named Rainbow Trout this is a big opportunity to end a 3 fight losing streak against a notable opponent also down on his luck. Trout is a tricky customer with a granite chin and more kicks than a chorus line. Chopping leg kicks, tank puncturing body kicks and fight ending headkicks are what Stumps is bound to contend with for as long as this one goes. For Stumps to pick up the win he must use the excellent timing and level changes that see him tie up opponents where he bullies them in the clinch or taken straight down and punished.

Prediction: If this fight turns into a kickboxing bout than Stumps is signing his own death warrant. If he can make this a dirty, hard fought, up close and personal contest his chances improve exponentially. It's tough to call with both fighters down on their luck. But a smart Stumps should take the decision win.

Lightweight: Stan "The Shark" Richard (11-9) vs Steve "Under New Management" Hanson (19-10)

The Shark can smell blood in the water but unfortunately it is his own after two straight defeats in the TTFC cage. The former number one contender looks to get back to winning ways against durable striking specialist Steve Hanson. Richard utilises his excellent wrestling in both clinch and takedown situations to work over and bully his opponents. Dropping short tiring shots to the body and head it isn't pretty but can be supremely effective. Given that his style is so methodical in seems somewhat contradictory that his defeats have come more often than not as result of a lapse in concentration. Hanson offers decent legs kicks and accurate combinations as well as power that we don't see enough of. With an unmistakable size advantage Hanson would like nothing more than for Richard to stand and exchange but if he doesn't Hanson will certainly be looking to make The Shark pay for closing the distance.

Prediction: Richard's style is an awkward one to utilise against a bigger opponent with hands as good as Hansons? With that in mind I think Richard struggles to impose his gameplan and Hanson snaps his head back for 15 minutes en route to a clear cut decision win.

Light Heavyweight: "Aggie" Agamemnon Coon (16-9-1) vs "The Last Man" Yorick Brown (6-5)

Looking to build on impressive victories over Lee Stroud and "Tree" Stumps, Agamemnon Coon takes on "death or glory" brawler Yorick Brown. Brown loves to trade punches and show off his power in the process. He offers brutal leg kicks as a change of pace but punching harder than his opponent is the gameplan more often than not. In Coon he meets a more technical boxer with endless cardio and a top level but underused ground game. Aggie is a brilliant wrestler with a Black Belt in BJJ but rarely shows off his grappling prowess in the cage. Instead Aggie chips away at opponents whether that be with ground and pound or standing combinations, until collective wear and tear leaves them prone to the killshot. Often that is early, sometimes it is late but if you don't but a man of Agamemnon's calibre away quickly it can become a long and painful night for you.

Prediction: Coon just has too much for Brown, and I think he takes a fairly simple first round TKO, rewarding Brown's aggression with slick two piece combinations to the jaw.

Lightweight: "Senor Sexy" Giorgio Valentino (3-0-1) vs Fresensius "The Concentrator" James (16-7)

Ahhh yeah. Time to dim the lights, it's business time with Senor Sexy Girogio Valentino. When you step into the cage with Valentino you are far more likely to end up punch drunk than love drunk but my word it's hard not to want a slice of that tasty dish. The sppedy Spaniard is ruthless with his striking pouring on the pain until the referee steps in so James will have his hands full. The Concentrator is no stranger to putting the hurt on opponents though, with an impressive 11 (T)KO victories amongst his 16. James brings good boxing and good power but excellent timing and that is where his best hope lies against the on rushing Valentino. Slugging it out with Valention would be ill advised given the speed of Senor Sexy. A slower pace where power becomes more valuable than speeds is exactly what James needs who can't fool for Valentino's jokey outwards demeanour for a second. Taking his eye of the ball will result in a short fight and long nap.

Prediction: James is in great form but I'm too in love with Senor Sexy. His speed and significant reach advantage should provide the tools to he needs to blitz the experienced James in the opening stanza.

Welterweight: Vladimir Konstantinov (5-3) vs Swag In A Bag (15-6)

Vladimir Konstantinov is getting no easing in process as he begins his TTFC career versus the proven welterweight commodity that is Swag In A Bag. Konstantinov comes in with a reputation as having a granite chin and some of the most painful body punches in the business. Look for him to slow down Swag with constant hooks to the body. If taking too many sees Swag try to put to smother the Russian he needs to be wary of the Murmansk natives uppercuts that can be fight enders. For Swag In A Bag this is another chance to show off why he was formerly the number one contender and to build on his impressive showing against Chris Santi. After spending most of round one showing off his defensive grappling Swag reminded everyone why he is so dangerous by inviting Santi to his kickboxing clinic and blasting the Italian with a headkick and follow up punches.

Prediction: This has all the makings of top class violence if both fighters enter the cage switched on. Both have great chins and a penchant for hurting people bad. It's a coin flip situation until someone catches the other with something spectacular, and with a name like Swag In A Bag he seems the more likely. Swag by TKO.

Light Heavyweight: "The Faceless Savior" Coby Skrilla (9-1) vs "The Nightmare" Nicky Salita (21-11)

Both Salita and Skrilla has considerbale hype trains derailed in brutal fashion in their last outings but make no mistake these two are still two of the top 205ers in TTFC and know that beating the other puts them instantly back in the game. Skrilla got a taste of his own medicine last night out but his perpetual violence style is still as exciting as anyone in TTFC as he delivers kicks and punches to all part of the body relentless until the opponent crumbles. With phenomenal cardio he can go all day and has no fear about the pace dropping as no one has ever got out of round 1 against him. Salita has good hands and decent power but his wrestling is his major asset. Once he as taken you down he passes guards easy and his top control is nothing short of stiffling. His ground and pound isn't destructive but he uses it to pass well and is always looking to show off his Brown Belt.

Prediction: No one has taken Skrilla into deep waters yet and Salita must do that here. If he can spend a good amount of round 1 in top position maybe he can break through and grab the submission. The chances of getting decapitated are strong for Salita but I think he can secure the submission in the second.

Heavyweight: "Big D" Dave Suraski (19-10) vs Bob McGrady (14-3)

There is some serious talent in the heavyweight division right now in TTFC. The likes of Angus McLoughlin and Chico Escuela not to mention the champion Rich Silva himself. Every win is hugely significant and always hard fought for and this will be no different. These two are heavyweight ground and pounders who love nothing more than to drop bombs on opponents. Driving through with powerful takedowns there are no subtle trip takedowns or slick guard passes just hard and accurate shots to the poor soul trapped beneath them. Both fighters are Brown Belts but only Suraski has show his off so far in their respective MMA careers. That isn't because they don't try it is just because when you get hit by these two you stay hit and it takes superhuman will and a cast iron chin to survive a ground and pound onslaught from either man. This one is a race to the takedown. McGrady exchanged them with Rich Silva in their title fight in a hotly contest affair. Should they nullify each other McGrady is perhaps the more skillfull but not the most effective. Should they stand and bang it favours McGrady slightly but expect both man to be scrambling and shooting for all three rounds whilst trying desperately to make their time on top significant.

Prediction: It should be a messy fight between two powerful and single minded heavyweights. Both can take down the other and both can inflict huge damage and I expect it to be as close as the McGrady vs Silva fight until the 3rd well accumulated damage takes its toll on Suraski and McGrady gets his hand raised.
