BEEF Session 15

Event Preview: BEEF Session 15
Bodies Engaged In Extreme Fighting [BEEF]
2014-06-14, Montreal, Hayashi's Lounge - Montreal
Author:King Scooby

BEEF is back in action after a quiet week where not MUCH bitchassness was detected. At BEEF Session 15 we have our first 25YO title bout to crown the first champion as well as pay out some VIP!

We always start with our Organization debuts and we will have only 2 coming up this weekend.

Ricky George (5-5) will take on Artur Strazny (1-0) as these fighters will start to forge their home in the organization. Ricky has shown the likes of a kickboxer as he has scored 4 of his 5 wins by knockout and specializes in landing big strikes ot the head and even harder kicks to the body. This fight brings an interesting aspect because Artur likes to grapple, close space and get the fight to the ground. While I can see Artur taking this to the ground and dominating with ground strikes, if George lands a good amount of his strikes early and often, Strazny might not be able to get it to the ground.

Session 14 Showcase Fight:

Raphael Adamson (1-0) will square off with Yoshi Yakiyama (3-2) and while it may seem obvious why I chose this fight to be the showcase fight of the night, I believe it is even more of a showcase for Yoshi Yakiyama than it is for Raphael. While Raphael is still trying to prove his intangibles to his manager who is smoking Blunts ALLDay and looking to earn some hype to lose his project status, Yakiyama is a tough deal to handle for him. Yoshi, a slight less exciting ground fighter has won 3 fights very convincingly and he has lost both of his fights by knockout. By him having a match with Adamson, he can prove his chin is sturdy if he takes a few strikes from the wild dealing ground and pound maniac. If Yoshi is able to pull that off and dominate control positions, this fight should showcase a ton to his talented and experienced manager, Tony Tiger.

Other stories surrounding this event is, Estie Langaise ( 4-2) is looking to bounce back from his loss to Charlie Chance so he will no double go looking for blood, but Gator Bait (7-2) obviously doesnt go down easily. This will be a rumble for their lives and a possible award candidate. Likewise, Deion Barnes (4-1) and Jimmy Spider Jr (5-1) will shake the cage with their brutal combat. Both, great standup fighters carry purple belts so if you thought that the ground game might be a clear deciding factor, you are wrong, this one is scarily even.

One time Island monster Charlie Chance (15-6) is excited to take on My best friend Bob Sacamano (10-2) as our 25YO build division is starting to pick up momentum. What a fight this should be, with Sacamano being a heavy 273lb dwarf never wanting to end up on the ground with anyone will look to clinch and strike his way to a victory over Chance, but that is a tall order as he is 45cm taller than his foe. A great grappler that loves to clinch also, I have no doubt in my mind that we will watch this entire fight with someone's back pressed to the cage. Instead of standup vs ground, this one will be a Head strike vs Body strike battle.

Our Main Event will bring Gussie Fink Nottle (10-1) to go head to head with Lionel Gatti (3-0) for 3 months VIP and the new champion of the one and ONLY 25 year Old build division. Gussie is riding a 6 fight win streak and we cannot forget that he really doesnt lose much at all as hes only lost one. His 45 second defeat over Herbert Burns in the 3rd round of this tournament proved to all that you have to be a solid fighter to knock him off the mantle. Lionel Gatti is a heavy hitting boxer and I think for him to win this fight he needs to avoid the clinch and look to land a “One Hitter Quitter” to win this fight. Gussie is just a very versatile fighter and that is tough to deal with. Gatti matches Gussie's strengths, but the 2 year age difference is just enough to give Gussie the edge. I look forward to this bout and hopefully this isnt the last time these two fighters compete against each other at BEEF.

I want to thank you all for being a part of BEEF, message me if you have any concerns on the org or your fighters, please leave feedback and TO ALL ENJOY!
