Middleweight Championship

(Champ) Max Casacci vs. (3.) Joe Pae

In Destiny 50 Max Casacci became the 2nd middleweight champion in history of DFC. Max Casacci shocked the world by TKOing the champ Joe Pae in 3rd round. After the fight things got really weird when Max Casacci decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you. Joe Pae was able to defend the belt for 9 times and thats obviously the record in DFC. Now Casacci is set to start his own reign as the middleweight champion. His first title defence will be rematch against no other than former champion Joe Pae. I'm sure at this point 22-year old italian Casacci have realized that he is the champion.

Joe "Kick Ass" Pae had one of the most interesting reign as a champion that we have ever seen in world of MMA. In whole DFC's history there has been only 3 draws and 2 of those draws were Pae's title defences. Of course after both of those draws Pae gave his opponent a rematch and both of those rematches Pae finished his opponent. This time Pae actually officially lost his first fight, but could he once again step up in rematch and take the W?

Lightweight Championship

(Champ) Jimmy Belingon vs. (3.) Jim Jabber

Undefeated DFC Lightweight Champion Jimmy Belingon is also heading to his first title defence this saturday. Lightweight belt has been changing its owner pretty frequently. Naturally Belingon is coming from his title victory against Will Genia. The fight vs. Genia was very close and Belingon ended up getting the unanimous decision 48-47 after 5 round war. Belingon's sensational muay thai was big factor in that fight and could be a big factor in this upcoming fight also. Jabber is remarkable boxer so keeping it on the feet isn't risk free for either one of these two. "The Silencer" Belingon and "Jackin" Jabber are both BJJ blue belts so dont expect to see submission in this one.

Jim Jabber is on 4-win hot streak. Jabber has walked past all of his opponents and the latest fight against Kenji Woko made it clear that he deserves the next shot at the title. Jabber is 13-fight DFC veteran so being in DFC cage is like being in home to him. Jabber has also fough for the title once before back in Destiny 25, but became one of many victims of "Arm Collector" Afa Sila. Now Jabber is more mature and skilled so Jabber really has the opportunity of his life to become a DFC Lightweight Champion.

Welterweight

(3.) John Dux vs. (8.) John Moxson

The battle of two Johns will be settled before the title fights. The former DFC Welterweight Champion John Dux is looking to get back to title hunt after losing his belt to Dav Rolling in his last fight. The ground game of Rolling was poison to Dux in that fight so it's interesting to see if Dux has been focusing to improve his ground work. Dux is favourite going to this fight and he really needs to get past Moxson if he wants to get his belt back.

John Moxson is coming from first round TKO victory against Masaru Shimabukuro in his DFC debut. Moxson gets major step up in competition now that he faces the former champion. Moxson doesn't really have anything to lose here, but if he can get the victory he would shoot himself right in the top of division. Moxson is superb wrestler and BJJ brown belt so he probably wants to get this fight to the ground even tho Dux is also BJJ brown belt and superb wrestler also, but Dux might have slight advantage on the feet here. One of the X factors in this fight could also be that Dux is 14cm taller than Moxson so if Dux can use the reach and keep the distance Moxson could have problems getting inside.

Rest of the card:

Featherweight: (9.) Masa Mune vs. (11.) Frank Benoit Heavyweight: (11.) Cat Von vs. (10.) Felippe Francisco Welterweight: (13.) Masaru Shimabukuro vs. (16.) Dennis Pegeant Bantamweight: (8.) Alexander Pedan vs. (16.) Tucker Jamesville Heavyweight: (15.) Incisor Bicuspid vs. (17.) Dennis Padua Middleweight: (18.) Praying Mantis vs. (17.) Ikuo Hitigaki Light Heavyweight: (14.) Aatish Sunuwar vs. (16.) Ramin Laulu
