NGF Weekly Talk Show: Episode 1

New Generation Fighters , Fight Organization, St Petersburg
Company profile by

Hello fight fans and welcome to the first ever episode of the NGF weekly talk show with your host and New Generation Fighters co-owner Aaron ThaiGuy.

This week we’ll be catching up with NGF heavyweight champion Vyacheslav Kalashnikov ahead of his NGF 153 headlining bout with Irving Brown. We’ll also be speaking to Danny Brown after his impressive first-round TKO wins at NGF 152 on Sunday. We’ll also be covering all the latest news that has happened in New Generation Fighters over the past few weeks.

First off we’ll start with talking about NGF 152 which took place on Sunday at Wombley Arena in London. The event had the second best PPV sales, attendance and ticket revenue of any NGF event before. In the nights main event Henrik Torhammer defended his lightweight title for the first time with a knockout over Bjorn Helgi. The win also pushed Torhammer’s winning-streak to five-fights.

Notable wins also came on the night for Danny Brown, Vinnie Vincent, Pablo Escobar and Reiska Pekka Retale.

Now that we’ve covered that, I’d like to welcome current New Generation Fighters heavyweight champion of the world Vyacheslav Kalashnikov to the stage!

Aaron: So Vyacheslav, your coming off the back of a loss. How has this made you feel for this fight?

Kalashnikov: Nothing special really, I've lost before, I'll probably lose again someday. In between it's good to knock out as many men as you can.

Aaron: Is there anything special that you’ve been working on for the Irving Brown fight?

Kalashnikov: I really approach every fight the same way, just get as good as you can before getting in the cage.

Aaron: Is there anything that worries you about the Irving Brown fight?

Kalashnikov: I don't think there is anything that worries me about him, not that I don't think he's a dangerous guy, but I tend to come in well prepared. I've fought so many times at this point in my career that there's not much someone can do that would surprise me. Though we fought before and I destroyed him convincingly, like many others before him, I'll still take the fight with the same seriousness any other fight. Except that Carlos Ferreira guy. That was a joke. Man, that guy had no idea...

Aaron: What can NGF fans expect from you in your fight with Irving Brown?

Kalashnikov: A finish. Brutal, convincing knock out. It's been way too long since my last KO victory. That's unacceptable. I need to finish Brown; I need to knock him out.

Aaron: Finally, is there anything you’d like to say to your fans?

Kalashnikov: Man, never, ever. I mean ever try to drink a certain idiot from Alabama under the table with absinthe. That's about it.

Thank you Kalashnikov for attending the show and I look forward to seeing you defend your title on Friday.

Also in other news, Light-heavyweight Avon Barksdale and featherweight Bob Marley have both signed contracts to fight under the NGF banner. Barksdale was only signed on a one-fight deal whereas Marley was signed on a five-fight deal. Several fighters have also extended their contracts with NGF including Skull Crusher, Danny Brown, Pip Gonzales and more!

It was also announced this week that NGF 155 will take place on 22nd August at the LA Memorial Collossuseum in Los Angeles and will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Tyler Richards and Danny Brown as #8 middleweight Richards looks to defend his title for the fourth time.

Now with that announcement I’d like to welcome Danny Brown to the stage.

Aaron: Your coming off the back off a great TKO first round win, how did that win feel for you?

Brown: It felt great. That was my third fight with Sykloni and obviously I’ve lost the first two bouts so this was a must win situation for me. I was under a lot of pressure but managed to get the “w”. It’s the only thing that matters.

Aaron: So what does the future hold for Danny Brown?

Brown: Another “Do or Die” fight with Tyler Richards for the title, it will be the third time I have met him.

Aaron: Finally, is there anything you’d like to say to the NGF fans?

Brown: To all the NGF fans: if you are big into violence and... Reading then you should check out my next fight! Just order the PPV and read the shit out of it! Joe Rogan summed it up the best: "mmatycoon fight? That’s a kind of twisted poetry."

Also released in NGF news this week was that three new fighters had been added to the Hall of Fame! The three fighters added are:

- Andrzej Gajewski who holds an NGF record of 17-0 with 16 title fight wins to his name.

-Tolek Banan who holds an NGF record of 10-0 with 8 title fight wins to his name.

- Shavo Odin who holds an NGF record of 10-3 with 4 title fight wins.

And finally, it was announced that me, Aaron ThaiGuy, has become the new co-owner of New Generation Fighters and I am excited and thrilled to become the new co-owner of NGF. NGF is an organisation that has already achieved tremendous things in its time here in MMA Tycoon and I am here to help take the organisation to the next-level. I want to bring stability, excitement and excellence to NGF and I look forward to working with you all.

Thank you for reading this weeks NGF talk show and stay tuned for more episodes coming soon!
