Welterweight Championship

(Champ) Noob Saibot vs. (2.) Dav Rolling

*Noob appears out of a cloud of smoke* "Destroy..." *Noob disappears into a cloud of smoke"

Once again thats all we got from the welterweight champion in pre-fight media day. Saibot is really unique character and outside the cage no one really knows much about this mysterious fighter. This saturday Saibot defends his belt for the 2nd time. Saibot was the guy who dethroned the former champion Dav Rolling back at Destiny 52. Fans has been waiting for this rematch because the first fight between these two was instant classic. Dav Rolling actually dominated the first round of that fight, but as the fight went on Saibot learnt to use his reach advantage and eventually got the knockout in 2nd round. Some fans demanded immediate rematch but matchmaker decided to give tune up fight to Rolling before making this rematch.

Rolling is coming from that fight against Josh Lebow. Rolling didnt waste anytime as he got TKO victory in just 3 minutes of the very first round. It's very interesting to see what kind of game plan Rolling is going to choose in this rematch against Saibot. Saibot will still be 9cm taller so if Rolling decides to keep the fight standing he needs to find the way to get inside. As we know Rolling trains in famous Black Manta camp so I'm sure they have figured out what went wrong in the first fight. Rolling is slight underdog going to this, but the first fight showed what Rolling can do when he's in charge of the action. Can Dav Rolling become the first, two time champion in DFC welterweight division or will Saibot continue his reign as a champion?

Heavyweight

(4.) Seamus Farrelly vs. (8.) Coconut Sprinkles

The co-main event features two very tough heavyweights as former DFC champion Coconut Sprinkles faces the former number one contender "Psycho" Seamus Farrelly. Farrelly is pretty fresh face in DFC. He got title shot right away after signing with organization because of his 12-0 record, however Vincent Mars gave him ugly welcome to the organization when he knocked out Farrelly in 2 minutes of the first round. Farrelly was very fired up after the lost and demanded rematch. He didn't get immediate rematch but sooner or later I'm sure these two will face each others. The possible x factors in this fight against Sprinkles could be Farrelly's wonderful muay thai and Sprinkles brown belt BJJ, because the boxing and wrestling seems to be pretty even.

Coconut Sprinkles is really one of the biggest names in DFC's roster, but lately he has really been struggling. Sprinkles has only won 1 of his last 5 fights, but the losses has come against very top fighters of the division like Mars, Hollow, Nasimentu. This saturday he faces another top level test so his journey isn't getting any easier. Victory against Farrelly would be huge and shoot him right up in the mix of the contenders. Sprinkles may have struggled lately, but its easy to forget that he is still just 23 years old so he is still improving and still getting better so even tho he has few losses in his record now he is still very dangerous opponent. Sprinkles will be 9cm taller than Farrelly going to this fight so that could be something to look at in this fight. Both of these two needs this win, but only one pair of hands can be raised after the fight.
