 We had a great action packed event in the LA Memorial Coliseum on August 10th. A near sold out crowd with 93,526 people attending.
The first fight was between Kyle Carlton(30-5) and Mac Tyson(23-9)
Kyle Carlton TKO'D Mac Tyson in Round 2; He cut Tyson with his vicious clinchwork landing punches like nobody's business. He dominated the first round without any problems at all. Second round was not so the same. Carlton was cut by Tyson with punches in the clinch. Then Carlton started throwing a monster amount of punches to Tyson and Tyson got rocked and gets dropped to the canvas and Carlton finishes Tyson. I predicted Tyson would win, but i thought it would be the end of round 2. Carlton dominated. He is surely a threat in GAMMA.
The next fight was between Jimmy Snuka(22-8) and Sick Puppy(21-11)
The first minute of the first round was really just this: Puppy attacks, Snuka blocks. But then the action started. Snuka got a takedown on Puppy. Snuka grounds and pounds on Puppy like there is no tomorrow. Puppy gets beats senseless but before he has brain damage, Snuka goes for a submission attempt but it doesn't work. Snuka then continues to beat Puppy back to 1987 and is forced to tap out do to strikes. I honestly thought Sick Puppy was going to win by a Flying knee but boy was a wrong. Jimmy Snuka beat puppy like a drum. I could not believe it.
The next fight is between Kurt Meyer(34-19) and Lan Mandragoran(22-10)
Early in the first round Meyer was cut. Meyer couldn't get any offense going missing all his punches and clinches and everything he tried. Mandragoran's boxing realy paid off for him as Meyer's cut got worse and worse. Mandragoran scored a knock down with an uppercut from hell. The doctor stepped in and saw that Meyer looked like spiderman with all his cuts. Mandragoran dominated and Won by TKO. I predicted he would win just like this.
The next fight is between Max Hatred(17-5) and Adis Djurdevic(25-14-2)
There was a lot of action in and out of the clinch in the first round. Nothing really got dangerous for either of the fighters. Hatred got the round. Round 2 was a lot of the same. But it got dangerous when Djurdevic got the takedown and went for a submision 3 times. He failed all 3 times. Close round on that one. Hatred got the round but i would disagree. Round 3 was a complete standup battle both fighters trading shot, after shot, after shot. I thought somebody-I couldn't tell who- would get knocked out. Hatred took that round after a close battle which i again, disagree. Round 4 was a standup battle for most of the fight but there was some slight clinching and un-clinching at the end. Djurdevic got the round easy. Djurdevic one the fight by Split Decision. I was kind of rooting for him the whole time but it was a heck of a close fight.
The next fight is between Marcus Ulipus Traianus(34-18) and Fat Gorilla(8-4)
I'm rooting for Gorilla here as he is the definite underdog. Round 1 started off crazy. MUT gets cut early. Gorilla clinches and dominates the first minute. MUT's cut has gotten worse by now. He is groggy and to put him out of his misery, Gorilla knocks MUT straight out of his inner self and drops him like your mom does a vase when she sees a spider. WOW Gorilla laid the Smackdown on MUT. I can't believe it.
