 HONOR FC 38 Payback

25.10.2014 Las Vegas Sparta's Palace (7,000) MMA   The Good Guys' Undercard #1 Bantamweight Fight   Jack Clark v Svend Sved For the very beginning we will witness fight of two high class MMA warriors, with great careers' histories. Derived from Scottish Glasgow 32 years old brawler, 'The Son' Jack Clark, will step into the cage against 29 years old Danish wrestler from Copenhagen- 'Ragnar' Svend Sved. We should prepare for some world class wrestling tonight, but if we want to find any difference between both fighters, 'The Son' can outscore his opponent standing, as except his great wrestling skills, he seems to be the only one in this fight, who can look for the KO tonight. Danish 'Ragnar' is great fighter also, but i'm not sure can he beat his opponent, according to his to his biggest strengths- which are also strong point of Jack Clark- and as we could see in his history, he may not have enough heavy hand to put this fight on his side.   The Good Guys' Undercard #2 Middleweight Fight   Frank Brody v Homer Jaysimpson Second fight, once more two solid brawlers: 27 years old Irishman from Waterford- Frank 'Bruiser' Brody, will fight against 23 years old american wrestler from Washington State, USA- Homer Jaysimpson. Irish fighter is solid boxer and wrestler, American fighter is world class wrestler with other skills still under development. Specialization of Jaysimpson should be able to put the W on his side, but as we could see in his past fights, he is usually not able to put much damage to his opponents. And Brody is someone who always goes for win before judges' decision. Conclusion here is short- if 'Bruiser' won't let his opponent to impose his gameplan in tonight's fight, i think that Brody can quite succesfully look for that one, right hit.   The Good Guys' Undercard #3 Middleweight Fight   Kaito Rin v Arial Jones With third fight of tonight's event, we step into world class MMA with two great warriors: 31 years old Japanese from Kamagasaki- Kaito 'Tsunami' Rin, and 30 years old fighter derived from London, New Zealand- Arial Jones. It's very hard to predict fights on this level. Much more experienced 'Tsunami' Rin, will stand against more well-rounded New Zealander, Arial Jones. I believe that Jones will be looking to score some points standing, but in the ground it's wiser to bet on experienced Rin. But to be honest, black belted Jones won't wait surely and the only thing we can do, is to wait for that grappling feast.   The Good Guys' Undercard #4 Featherweight Fight   Vladimir Kharitonov v Kong Su han World class feast continues: 33 years old Vladimir Kharitonov from Pokrovsk, Russia, will face 37 years old veteran from Tokyo, Japan- Kong 'Beast' Su Han. Russian fighter will surely start with softening up his opponent with vicious leg kicks, but Su Han will be only looking forward for opportunity to close up this fight to clinch, where he will be able to make some use of his great Muay Thai skills. Kharitonov must stay calm but also effective and aggressive, as taken to clinch, 'Beast' won't like to let him go to any other area, as Russian seems to have advantage not only in striking distance, but also on the ground. Both fighters aren't fans of brawling and grappling, but it's one of ways, where they can score point or two. The question fot his fight is 'will Kharitonov be able to burst 'Beast' Su han's lethal clinch?'   The Good Guys' Undercard #5 Lightweight Fight   Victor Zsasz v Sevent Seagull Here comes the last fight of tonight's Preliminary Card. 31 years old Albanian fighter from Hell- Victor 'The Death Rider' Zsasz, will face 35 years old American derived form Lansing, USA- 'Flying High' Sevent Seagull. Both are not only aggressive strikers, but also very intelligent and tactical fighters, what can let them dominate nearly every opponent. Zsasz is a little more aggressive, but Seagull is a little better defender. They also seems quite equal in clinch area, the only difference is that 'The Death Rider' can occassionally look for takedown to score some point with ground and pound. This fight seems like one depending on who will be able to hit his opponent enough well to send him to the mat.   HONOR Bookmakers' Main Card #1 Middleweight Fight   Jack Fall v Baraka Simengwa With next fight we are stepping to Main Card of tonight's Event. 33 years old American fighter from Los Angeles- Jack 'Hammer' Fall, will face 27 years old Tanzanian 'The Lion of Matema'- Baraka Simengwa. 'Hammer' is solid striker with nice ground and pound, but i'm afraid that tonight he will definitely look only for using the first one. He is BJJ black belt, but his Tanzanian opponent is one of just few red belts in the world. It seems like one more grappling feast, especially that Baraka Simengwa seems to don't have anything else to offer to MMA Fans. It will be tough night for Jack 'Hammer' Fall, as he usually waits for taking his opponent to the ground and outscore him over there, but Simengwa won't be surely even defending too hard against takedown attempts. The only hope for Fall is that he would be able to maintain top position and stay focused to not get submitted by lethal 'The Lion of Matema'.   HONOR Bookmakers' Main Card #2 Light Heavyweight   Fred Palowakski v Mayo Kermode Next fight will be between two 30 years old experienced fighters: Fred Palowakski from Angola, and 'Wittertainment' Mayo Kermode from Melbourne, Australia. Palowakski seems to have some advantage on the ground, but we should prepare for some nice striking in this one, while both fighters are definitely stand up types. Kermode additionally will be looking for taking fight into clinch, where his biggest strengths lays. Palowakski can score some also there, but he will definitely try to avoid that and stay away, as he is much better striker in this fight, so 'why give opponent a chance if you don't have to?'   HONOR Bookmakers' Main Card #3 Lightweight Championship   Brandon Marsden v Vinnie Jones And here comes the last Main Event fight and also Lightweight Championship bout. Current Champion, derived from Californian Stockton, USA- 31 years old Brandon 'Badboy' Marsden, will be defending his Championship belt against 29 years old Canadian grappler from Toronoto- Vinnie 'Danger Zone' Jones. It's Championship fight, but i'm afraid that history of this one can be short. The only weapon in Jones' arsenal is grappling. He usually adds some ground and pound there, but it's not how he looks for victory. And his opponent while also usually looks for groundplay and brutal gnp, his strengths also can be always seens standing. Now it's the matter of Marsden's gameplan, will he try to play it safe and keep standing, or maybe he will feel enough self-confident to take the challenge and get involved into ground game, where both fighters can take the W.       Just Fight's Co-Main Event Middleweight Fight   Lukacz Belmont v James Harbor We are close to the very end of tonight's event, what means that the best is yet to come. 33 years old Honor FC's ex-Middleweight Champion from Hell, Poland- Lukacz 'Iron First' Belmont, will face 28 years old Irishman from Dublin- James 'Pearl' Harbor. Belmont has advantage standing, he is more dangerous strikers for sure, as Harbor's all fighting areas another than grappling are just small addition only. But it doesn't mean that Irish black belt is harmless- he is extensive submission fighter, what often let's him take the W in his fights. But while we know he can be KO'd, Belmont is hard fighter to submit, so if he would stay focused without harm to his aggressiveness, i think that Polish 'Iron Fist' can win this fight.   Just Fight's Main Event Welterweight Championship   Ziggy Cliff v Vladimir Ignatov Here comes The Main Event of the Night. The great Championship rematch between curent Welterweight Champion, 31 years old Jamaican 'Rasta' Ziggy Cliff from Mandeville, and tonight's contender- 28 years old Russian 'The Impaler' from Stary Oskol- Vladimir Ignatov. Last time fight lasted until fourth round, where Ziggy Cliff KO'd his opponent after close fight. That time it seemed that 'The Impaler' couldn't keep the pace of fight, from what he surely took a lesson. So once again we will have opportunity to watch fight between great striker Ignatov, and mighty clincher Cliff. Hopefully once again both fighters will go all-in and give us Fight of the Night.    Brought to You by Honor Fighting Championship In partnership with Petro Sohitto
