                                                                  Epicity Productions presents
                                                                        Afterlife - Zhou vs Crus

Hello everyone, this past month has been an absolute pleasure to work with you all. I think this org has started out wonderfully and our event ratings for the first few shows has been pretty decent considering we start with no hype. We have only had a few hiccups and Afterlife will end up being our smallest card yet at 7 fights which is still pretty decent. The great news is our upcoming cards are coming along in excellent fashion and I'm really excited to see where we go from here.

If you haven't noticed, we now have a merch partner with Walhalla Clothing. Turbo is a great guy and it's been a pleasure to work with him so far. He has been making sure to send sponsorship to everyone on the card, if he missed you by any chance please contact him and he will set you up. Also, if you set your post fight speech to thanking your sponsor it gives a nice hype boost and helps up build ourselves up the rankings.

Sorry for not giving previews & reviews earlier but I have been really busy and I am doing everything by myself at the moment.

So let's start with our next card, Afterlife. I will start from the bottom.

AJ Mckenzie vs Young Buck:

Our first fight of the evening is going to be a match up between two young prospects who are 18 and 19 respectively. Both of these fighters are very similar and have focus most of their skills early on to striking and wrestling. While Young Buck clearly has the edge in boxing, Mckenzie clearly has the edge in wrestling and it will be interesting to see if he can use that to his advantage. McKenzei wins this fight in the clinch and if he stands and trades with Buck he could find himself with his first loss. This should be a great fight between these two young fighters.

Johnny Johnson vs Tapor Breakbones:

The 5-0 Johnny Johnson will make his EP debut against another fighting making his EP debut although he has been waiting awhile for this. This, in my opinion, could end up being a trap fight if Breakbones can get him to the ground and work his BJJ game. However, he is facing a guy who has a tremendous striking advantage and Tapor has none. Tapor might learn his lesson for the third time in a row hear that you need striking in this sport. I won't count him out though and he's shown he's no sloud when you enter his world. Should be intriging to see if Tapor can make this a fight.

Snich Clinchwork vs Aidan "The Clock" McVeigh:

This is one of the fights on the card that I am actually looking forward to the most. Snich is fresh off his MMA and EP debut with a thrashing TKO of Jack Black. He looked impressive with what little time we have seen from him. His opponent on the other hand has much more experience coming into Epicity. He is 9-4 and has competed in multiple organizations. He is also a former Island fighter who has found a new home in Las Vegas. Despite the experience advantage this is actually a really close fight when it comes to their skills. Both are skilled muy thai fighters and Clinchwork lives up to his name with the advantage in this category. Aidan has better wresting however which also plays a big part in who can control who in the clinch. Should be a great fight even if the rating doesn't reflect my opinion.

Greg "Sir Kicks Alot" Smith vs Travis "Bam Bam" Davies

An evenly matched fight between two middleweights who both have had rocky starts to their career. Smith is a very skilled striker for his age and has exceptional stats in both boxing and muy thai. His striking is extremely dangerous but he lost in his debut fight being submitted by Baba. This showed the holes in his game and he now faces an opponent who is well rounded across the board. It's been known that well rounded fighters surcumb to fights with speciality skills in certain areas. Davies is coming into this fight looking to disprove that assumption and hopefully use his skills to his advantage. He took Hoop down in his last fight against another skilled striker but was unable to finish him on the ground. Smith will be looking for the KO and Davies will be looking to do better than he did in his last fight and finish his opponent while he has the chance.

Julio "The Tiger " Cortez vs Johnny "Big Blitz" Yager

As we dive further into the card we get our first higher hyped fighter on the card. Julio Cortez is 4-2 and has shown his ground skills 4 times over with submission finishes in all four victories. Ironically he lost his last fight by kimura which seems to be his own signature move. He will SURELY be looking to redeem himself after that loss. These opponents are complete opposites of each other. While Cortez is a ground expert, the more experiences Yager is a pure striker and will clearly be looking for the knock out. Both fighters strengths play into their opponents weakneses so we will see who can capitalize first. Expect a first round finish from either fighter.

"General" Qasem Suleimani vs Chris "Xtreme" Johnson

Our co-main event of the evening futures two fighters who don't have the most hype or a high p4p rating. Some would say this is a bad spot for this fight but these two fighters have already proven their skills are worthy. Chris Johnson at 3-8 could have easily called it quits and retired. Many thought he was on his way out with his incredible SEVEN loss streak. Then he got himself together and got the calling from Epicity Productions. In his debut he made the most of his opportunity and handily gained back some honor as he took out ALL of his frustation out on Rugal Gracie giving him a quick 27 secound trashing. Chris Johnson is back in the game and he now takes a much bigger step up in competition. Qasem is only 2-1 but has already got people buzzing because of his clear undeniable talent. He is only 20 years old but already a sensational boxer who looks for the knock out. In his debut he also finished his opponent in under a minute. Johnson is more well rounded but Qasem's boxing might be the deciding factor here. Don't count Johnson out tho, Qasem has been knocked out before and Chris Johnson's rage might suprirse the world again.

Shock "Awe" Zhou vs Chris "The Whirlwind" Cruz

The main event of the evening!! With the title fight for this event scrapped, these two stepped up to save the event and be the stars of the show. Needless to say, they are already stars. This is a match up I wanted as soon as they were both signed by EP and it happens right off the bat. Shock is a very good striker with an awesome 12 knock outs to his name. He is well rounded but still has that specialty skill that makes him a huge threat. His is much more experienced and that could play a deciding factor in our main event. Chris Cruz is a star in the making. From what we've seen so far he is an excellent clinch fighter with sensational boxing to dirty box his opponents until they go to sleep. He has a slight boxing advantage but loses the striking advantage when you factor in Zhou's muy thai skills. Cruz' wrestling will most likely be the deciding factor of our main event. Zhou needs to keep this at a distance and Cruz needs to close the gap. This will be an interesting scenario to see play out. Who will get back on track and start their Epicity career with a win? Will it be the Whirlwind or Awe Zhou?! We will find out tonight!
