Donny Stremphf here. The tourney part 1 baby, it’s here and it’s ready to deliver. Ten exciting fights are coming your way if you make the smart decision to tune in. This card features a lot of new guys making their professional debut. You know what they say about new fighters: They’re young, dumb and full of…energy, which will make all these fights exciting! If you wanna be just as pumped as I am, go on and read this preview. See if your predictions line up with mine!

265+ Ibs: Steel Penn (9-4-0) vs Tak Sin Thanarat (26-16-1)

The main event for this one is an openweight fight between NACF veterans Steel Penn and Tak Sin Thanarat. Penn, just 2-4 in the NACF organization, is looking to rebound from a TKO loss at XKC 24, way back in November. Penn took some time off in order to focus on his training and bounce back strong. He’ll be looking to keep this fight going with his excellent cardio. Thanarat is looking to extend his win streak to three, having last won at NACF-001 by way of TKO. He ended that one in the first round and will look to use his excellent Muay Thai to do the same in this one. Steel Penn comes into this fight with exceptional boxing and Muay Thai along with mediocre wrestling. Thanarat brings elite boxing and Muay Thai and wonderful wrestling to this one. Thirty-eight year old Thanarat has the skills to win this one, but Penn has the youth. I think wisdom beats youth in this one, as Thanarat’s elite skills will take care of Penn. I think Thanarat will put Penn to sleep.

Prediction: Thanarat def Penn via KO in round 1

145 Ibs: Hematoma Hominick (7-1-0) vs Tourney Fighter (7-2-1)

The co-main event calls the little guys to the cage in this kickboxing event. Hominick is on a six fight win streak, including a decision victory against his opponent at XKC 10. Although this is not a title fight, Hominick is the current featherweight champion of the New Age Cage Fighting organization. He’ll be looking to use his amazing cardio to make his fight streak seven. Tourney Fighter will be looking to avenge his loss against Hominick. He’s 1-2 in his last three fights, his last fight being a TKO victory at XKC 21. Fighter is also a cardio machine, which hopefully means these guys will throw down and not hold anything back in this one. Skill wise, Hominick is sensational in boxing, exceptional in Muay Thai, and superb in wrestling. Fighter meanwhile, is wonderful in boxing, sensational in Muay Thai, and proficient in wrestling. This is a hard fight to predict, as both these fighters are pretty close in skills. It’s no doubt that this fight will be fought in the clinch like the last one. I’m just going to have to be boring in this one and go with the winner of the last fight, Hominick. Their last fight was a 100 percent fight rating and won fight of the night honors. So hopefully this fight will be like that and not boring like my prediction.

Prediction: Hominick def Fighter via decision

145 Ibs: Alex Ferguson (1-0-0) vs Kay Won (0-0-0)

The middle of the main event consists of some youngin’s who are new to the world of fighting. Alex Ferguson’s debut went how everyone wants their debut to go: with a victory. This will be his debut in an actual fight organization. His first fight was a quick fight championship bout. Kay Won is looking to match the debut of Ferguson in this bout. There is not much to be said about these guys since they’re pretty new. Ferguson comes in to this one as a brawler. He’s mediocre in boxing, Muay Thai, and wrestling. Won is proficient in boxing and Muay Thai and feeble in wrestling. With Won having the edge in the standup game, I’m going to say he’ll win this one. How he’ll do it? No idea…

Prediction: Won def Ferguson via KO in round 1

205 Ibs: Enoch Thompson (1-0-0) vs Moses Judah (0-0-0)

A light heavyweight fight takes place between some more young guys here. Thompson is looking to continue his undefeated career by hopefully going 2-0-0. He knocked out his opponent in his debut for QFC. He’ll be looking to use his excellent Muay Thai to win this one and continue his win streak. Judah is hoping to start his career out on the right track. No one wants to start their career 0-1-0. Thompson brings in useless boxing, wonderful Muay Thai, and abysmal wrestling to this one. Judah brings in the same skills except for boxing, which he is abysmal at. I do not have much to go off for this fight, but I am going to go ahead and say Judah will start his career out with a win just because he’s a little better skill wise. But it can go either way.

Prediction: Judah def Thompson via decision

205 Ibs: Gino Petrovich (0-0-0) vs Kyle Rutherford (0-0-0)

The main event is kicked started by two completely new guys. Both are young and hungry and want to get their careers started on the right foot. Not much can be said about these guys, as usual with the newbies. Petrovich comes into this fight with superb boxing, competent Muay Thai, and useless wrestling. Rutherford is bringing feeble boxing, wonderful Muay Thai, and useless wrestling. I think if Petrovich keeps things on the outside, he can win this fight. Look for Rutherford, though, to use a mix of strikes to try and tilt the fight in his direction.

Prediction: Petrovich def Rutherford via KO in round 1

Undercard

205 Ibs: David Judah (0-0-0) vs Tuco Salamanca (0-0-0)

205 Ibs: Charlie Chesterfield (0-0-0) vs Johnny Gallagher (0-0-0)

205 Ibs: Bruce Jenkins (0-0-0) vs Michael Westen (0-0-0)

145 Ibs: Don Donnik (3-2-0) vs Mesut Ozil (1-1-0)

205 Ibs: Razor Ramon (0-1-0) vs Rocky Thunder (0-0-0)

With a lot of the undercard fights being debuts, I’ve decided to hold off on predicting them; it’s just too random to make a prediction with these guys. Tune in though, because these are gonna be some good fights!
