It's A Fight Nation

About Me: Anthony Jones

While in NY we was able to catch up with Anthony Jones inside the LOD: Performance Center NY.
The owner of Fight Nation Management, one of the newest upstart management companies to get into the MMA / Kick Boxing space.

Mr. Jones was pressed for time but allowed us to control him for a short interview.

So Mr. Jones, thank you for giving us some of your time to answer a couple of question.

AJ: Oh it's no problem

You know there are a lot of managers in this fight world. What do you have to bring to the table?

AJ: Oh, I'm sorry..... Well, that's a great question? Here at Fight Nation Management  I take care of my fighters.
I will work hard to get them that fight and their worth. I started Fight Nation Management because I saw a void, a void that needed to be filled.
That void was lack of genuine concern for the fighter. .

I mean come on Mr. Jones, your not the first manager to try to do that.

AJ: True indeed, that is why I am always asking around about the potential that's out in the city.
My staff and I have certain qualities we look for when we are scouting fighters to offer our management services.

And what is that?

AJ: Top Secret, If I told you then you would have to come up missing...Joke.
A lot of managers are not interested in building a fighter up, their just looking for a shot at the title.
Don't get me wrong now, my fighters will be Champions. I mean thats what they fight for.. to be the best, numero uno.
There can only be one winner, there is no such thing as second winner.... Umm, I think that is better known as the loser.

Rumor is that you are also the matchmaker for the fight organization Pro Era Fight Federation, can you tell us about that?

AJ: I'm actually co-owner with my silent partner who we will remain nameless. Yes and I have taken the role as matchmaker or fight promoter as I like to call it.

That seems like a lot being new to the fight industry and all

AJ: I actually agree, it is a lot. But I felt it was an investment that had to be made after once my staff and I weighed the the pro's and con's.
It fits into our management model as well as our vision as a management company.

Ok is there anything else you want the fight world to know.

AJ: Absolutely.. To all the managers out there, Fight Nation Management and the fighters we manage is coming for the #1 Spot.

Thank you for your time and I' sure we will meet again

AJ: Thank you for giving me an opportunity to talk with you.
