 VCC 10 Preview

25 April 2015
Hyashi's Lounge - Sydney

Vanquish hosts its biggest event yet when VCC 10 hits Hyashi's Lounge on the 25th, with new merchandise partner Product Of Champions on board, the nutrition company that has risen to stardom based out of New York on the back of some of the best supplements on the market to date in the Tycooniverse.

The night will see a huge title fight between Joe Hogan and Liyak Rhust, as well as a potential number one contender matchup between Michael Hayes and Alf Stewart. Rising heavyweight star Muh Texii will also feature on the main card in the hopes of capturing a title shot against Clegane with a win at this event, while former heavyweight title contender Edward Kelly will look to bounce back into the title frame with a win at this stacked event.

Main Event
Joe Hogan vs Liyak Rhust - Welterweight Championship

Joe "Cast Away" Hogan
Record 8-0-0
Height 177cm
Weight 170 lbs
Age    26
Keys To Victory - Knockout power, Dangerous striking, Seemingly Untouchable

Liyak "Bout to Bust" Rhust
Record 6-2-0
Height 184cm
Weight 171 lbs
Age    24
Keys to Victory - Heavy Handed, Good Chin, Unpredictable

The nights main event sees the destruction machine, Joe Hogan enter the cage to try and continue on his undefeated professional run against the unpredictable Liyak Rhust. Hogans last 4 fights have been first round knockouts with the longest of them coming at 02:16, his strikes are accurate, damaging and seem to be completely unstoppable, the only way he can seemingly be beaten is if Rhust can get the takedown before he gets put down.
Rhust comes into the fight with a solid 6-2-0 record, with 5 of his wins coming by way of (T)KO, despite his disadvantage on the feet he still poses a threat to the champion with his legitimate ground game that boasts some of the best ground and pound in the organisation, in order to win this fight he will have to floor the champ before he catches one on the chin, because not even a good chin will safeguard you from the bombs Hogan throws.
